I cannot thank Leaders and letting agent Joseph Mayles enough as they have been absolutely amazing. Having been struggling to find a suitable property and facing many challenges as a single parent, Joseph offered to help my son and I find a property. A week or so after our first initial contact, Joseph called me and said “I have the perfect property for you” we viewed the property and it was perfect, with our offer accepted. Joseph has been truly outstanding and his support throughout the letting process has been second to none and my son and I really appreciate all that he has done. The leaders team in North End as a whole are great and I would totally recommend them, as when they offer to help you, they do, and they go above and beyond. Thank you.

I don't normally leave reviews but I had to give a review about Leaders in Portsmouth. They were so helpful and easy going. Joe Mayle was who helped us find our place were renting now and he was brilliant. Always there to help, I could ring up with any query and he would always go out his way to help. Once we moved in it got passed over to Yvonne in property management and she is brilliant too...I highly recommend Leaders and just ask for Joe 😀

Thank you to Amy Paffey for her approachable manner in difficult circumstances with the tenants in gaining access & Lindsey Hart in coordinating what was required to get the house ready for completion - they are a great asset to Leaders. Perhaps they could pass on some training to some of the property management team who don’t give the same customer care to landlords, where emails are ignored and calls are not returned. The 4 star rating is purely for the sales team, if I had to give a rating for property management, sadly it would be 1.

Purchased a house through Leaders a few months ago and although we are very grateful and would not have seen the house without them, working with them was quite disappointing. Our agent was initially quite good to work with but as we progressed, she would only call or send an email to chase about something with no care about how we were getting on or the process. She pushed for us to use their inhouse legal services company they work with and the lawyer we had was close to utterly useless! At many times through the process, the Lawyer had no idea what was happening and we would get called by the agent asking questions because the Lawyer was not responding to her emails. In addition, the lawyer would also not respond to emails sent by the buyers solicitor, so this caused a few delays. I would highly recommend avoiding TMT Legal services! They are also much more expensive than other local companies who I assume would do a better job! The last point is that on the day of exchange, our seller called us to say they had handed the keys in to the estate agent around 3pm, we called Leaders at 4pm as we had not heard anything from them and was told I would here back from my agent shortly. We ended up going in to their office to get the keys because it didn't make sense why we had to wait 2 hours to get the keys to our house. When we arrived, the agent was doing some other bits and it just seems crazy that knowing how big of a day this is for a customer, you wouldn't focus on getting keys to them promptly.

We want to especially appreciate Mr Rob Comerford at Leaders Portsmouth branch for his efforts and support rendered right from the first visit to the handing over of the keys of the rental property. In my experience his dedication and mentality to support the needy is exemplary. I still remember the time I stepped into his office, he welcomed me wholeheartedly and wrote my requirements and checked at the same time in his system about matching houses and gave intimation about the availability. Update on this review. The 5* review given below was purely for the lettings team, who are brilliant and attentive to every question and details in regards to the letting at hand. However, after moving in we get to deal with the property management team and I have to say I've never been so disappointed with a service before. We have lived in this house for a year and I have rung and emailed different times regarding things needing fixing and/or being broken, only to be told that I would be rung back or they would instruct the maintenance to come around. When they did come around and we wanted to show what was wrong they only fixed the 1 thing and left without even giving us a chance to say thank you or show the rest of the issues. Funny thing is, when the time comes for a rent increase, how promptly they email you and chase after you for agreement! Feeling really disappointed and sad with Leaders... ● Our personal experience with Leaders has been one that ran very smoothly. Everything from the first phone call and viewing to the last stage was very professional and helpful. Robert made sure to go the extra mile to get us the property we wanted and so we are very thankful. Having had bad experiences with other letting agents, Leaders' costumer service is AMAZING with thoughtful and charismatic agents. 5* for me.

We feel happy during my rental period for 9 months, especially Debbie Nichols as our property manager is always helpful and response to our enquiries and requests promptly. I heard from some of my friends how they feel desperately with their landlord/property agent, so we know we are so lucky to have a responsible and helpful property manager. Managed to get me moved pretty quickly. Sometimes calling to update me without any update was annoying. Not sure why the agent had to go next door to photocopy a photo of keys and make me wait 5 minutes but I’m sure they’ll find a reason.
