From the moment I reserved my Anwyl…

From the moment I reserved my Anwyl home I found the whole experience very organised and professional. Gyllian kept me updated on the build along the way and whenever I had a query was only too happy to deal with it. She took time to explain in great detail about the plot and when I came to my choices appointment was full of great advice . After we moved in there were some minor snags which Shaun dealt with speedily with the assistance of Paul and Mark. I’m very pleased with the quality of the build and would highly recommend Anwyl. Many thanks to a great team at Edenhurst Grange !

handing over the house

I have been in my pulford home on The Fairways estate in Hand forth for the last 8weeks. I had the smoothest journey from the first visit to site just over 9months ago. I have dealt with Helen, Alex and Sarah and Carl in the sales office, they’ve all been very helpful ,informative patient and welcoming throughout my several visits to the sales office .Carl have been very helpful in the past few weeks when I had some difficulties The house itself was pretty perfect, yes there were few issues was dealt immediately by Issac {the great man} .every time you ring him, he is there with a helping hand and smile on his face Nothing is too much trouble for him .very committed person .Anwyl homes are lucky to have him as an employee Only one thing I would like Anwyl to look into would be outdoor lighting due to the fact that I am at the edge of site with a passage and fields in front of the house and at night the whole cul-de-sac is pitch black which does make me feel a little vulnerable. also the house is facing to a road where there are many people walking around .Hopefully Anwyl will look in to things and solve the problem .Also I would recommend that the outside of the house presentation can be improved too Overall I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Anwyl Homes to anyone considering buying a new build home. they are nice houses .

Loving our new Anwyl Home

We have been in our Oakmere home on The Fairways estate in Handforth for 6 weeks. We have honestly had the smoothest journey from the first visit to site just over a year ago. We’ve dealt with Helen, Alex, Will and Sarah in the sales office, they’ve all been incredibly helpful, patient and welcoming throughout our numerous visits to pop in to the show home ‘again!’Despite being told we’d be in by the end of September we never really believed it, having been endlessly warned that you never get in a new build on time! We were in bang on time. The house itself was pretty perfect, yes there were a handful of issues but nothing of any great importance and Gaz and Isaac and their wider team were always on hand to arrange for contractors to get in to sort the snags out. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Only one thing we would like Anwyl to look into would be outdoor lighting due to the fact we are at the edge of site with a passage and fields in front of us and at night the whole cul-de-sac is pitch black which does make us feel a little vulnerable. Overall we wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Anwyl Homes to anyone considering buying a new build home. We couldn’t be happier!HOWEVER, PLS, the solicitors Anwyl recommend who we used for both our sale and purchase have been absolutely terrible, very unprofessional, careless and difficult to communicate with. Avoid at all costs! Thank you to everyone we’ve dealt with at Anwyl.

A positive purchase experience

Thanks to Gyllian, Paul & Shaun our first experience of buying an Anwyl home has been positive. From the first viewing with Gyllian to the sign off with Paul & Shaun we only have praise. Everything we have asked about or to be done has been answered & attended to. The house spec is the best we've had in a new home. The lads on the site were very courteous to us and our home. The site was kept clean. We would definitely recommend purchasing an Anwyl home.

Alex, Helen and Sarah at the Fairways have been incredibly helpful during the purchasing our new home. They regularly keep in touch and have been nothing but super informative and crystal clear in terms of spec, time frames etc. Very professional, polite and welcoming, couldn’t of asked for a better team of people to approach and help us with the purchasing process. You are doing a brilliant job. Now were moved into the home, very pleased with the after care. Issac has been amazing and keeping on top of our few snags (we had less than 10).

Well built homes" Anwyl Priory Gardens

My experience with Anwyl Homes has been excellent.The house is great and finished to a high standard, good quality fixtures and fittings.I have been in my new home for just over a year and have had a few snags, but most are now fixed, no issues with getting them reported and dealt with. The whole process was very smooth from start to finish, and I have to thank Steph from the sales office for this, she really was and still is very helpful and nothing is to much trouble. We are delighted with our new home on the ‘Fairways’, Handforth! All snagging issues have now been addressed … some taking longer than others … but we got there in the end! Grateful thanks to Isaac for his help and perseverance in organising all the necessary tradespeople. His customer care has been excellent. The Sales Team were great! Helen, Alex, Sarah and Will were always helpful and made themselves available, answered all our questions and kept us informed of progress throughout. We especially appreciated the video from Will, along the way, of our house taking shape! We are mindful that the purchase of a new house is not without snags but the response to our requests was always courteous, kind and proactive.

I'd recommend Anwyl Homes!

I bought my new build house from Anywl at Winnington Place in December 2021, this was my first home and I was very pleased with the level of service I received from the sales team. Kelly in particular was extremely helpful and guided me through the whole process, she was friendly and approachable and kept my best interest at heart which isn't something every sales person does.I moved in over the Christmas period and immediately found that the site team were equally helpful. The house is lovely and finished to a good standard, yes there are snags but nothing that you wouldn't expect with other builders and nothing that isn't fixable. Phil and Keith were great when it came to reporting the snags and arranging for them to be sorted, even mucking in and doing a few themselves! Both of them continue to check in that everything is okay with the house now that the initial snagging list is complete and they are very friendly and hardworking. I'd happily recommend Anwyl Homes to somebody else and I'm very satisfied with my home.

Cooperative and professional; Mill Green , Warton

I was a little unsure about buying a new build property, as there is often bad press surrounding developments, however I was impressed by the standard of fittings and workmanship at Mill Green, Warton, and completed my purchase, on schedule, in June. There were inevitably one or two snags, but these were dealt with courteously and efficiently by the site managers, Mike and Chris. The whole work team there have been nothing but helpful during the entire process. Thank you for making a potentially stressful time seamless.

We picked up the keys in May '22 after a few lapsed completion promises due to solicitor failures and money transfers, never at any time did we feel that Anwyl would pull out of the sale. The sales team remained patient and attentive throughout, providing confidence at every step. Having handed us over to Gaz and team, once the purchase was complete, the care and willingness to provide good customer care didn't stop there. We found Gaz to be accessible and thorough throughout and very patient working around our business hours to complete the snagging. A friendly face and good communicator, a worthy asset Anwyl.....

We have just got our keys for our new…

We have just got our keys for our new home at the Fairways. I cannot recommend this team enough! From the beginning the help and communication from Helen Sarah and Alex was first class. Having bought off plan there was obviously a long wait for our house but our every question was answered at every step of the way. Will joined the team later and is a huge asset. He proved to be an efficient and calming influence when completion loomed with an answer or action for all my queries. Gaz the site manager is so efficient and approachable. He talked us through every aspect of our new home and quickly rectified a couple of small issues we identified. Thank you to you all!

Excellent service and build

We purchased a property on the Croes Atti Development.From our first conversation with Angela in the sales office through to completion and even a month on the service we have received has been excellent. Always putting us first and keeping us regularly update with progress of the build, through to completion. Angela and Lauren are a credit to the Anwyl team.Then onto the house, I've been previously told Anwyl build good house, well now I know they build excellent houses, with a very good spec. We have had very few snags but Steve and his team, have worked to get them completed.A big shout out ot Steve, who has regularly field my random questions and always given an experienced answer, also a credit ot the Anwyl team.Not that I'm planning on buying another new house, I would denifately buy from Anwyl again. This is how houses should be built but rarely are.

Anwyl homes Mill Green

I have recently bought off plan a Anwyl home at Mill Green Warton. I have to say what a trouble free experiance i have had, the sales team are excellent promising nothing they couldn't deliver, even bringing our completion date a week earlier. Once we moved in I hired a professional snagging company who prvided me with a list of snaggs, which turned out to be very little given its a new build. The site management team Chris & Mike went above and behond and dealt with everything faster than expected they are a credit and a valuble asset to Anwyl homes. Keep up the good work because it realy makes the stress of moving into a new build enjoyable, and i am sure customers apriciate your hard work even though sometimes not saying it. The Fairways - 6 weeks in…

We have purchased a property on The Fairways estate. Firstly a couple of negatives - PLS were pretty useless so I’d recommend not using them, I guess there is a reason they are cheaper than others. Snagging wise there wasn’t a huge amount to be fair but the tiling was done in the en suite like someone had about 10 mins to grout it all and I’m still waiting on that being cleaned. Everyone in the sales office have been great and really helpful, Will, Helen, Sarah and Alex. All super nice and happy to help where they can. Positives: house is well built, you can see there is a better spec than other sites (hob, spot lights, shed etc), and all the snagging has been completed in a relatively quick time. Big shout out to Isaac on site who is just brilliant - he sorts everything for me very fast and he always has a smile on his face despite me mithering him on a frequent basis! Thanks Isaac for helping us settle in and for always being around when we need you - you have been an enormous help and reassuring presence on site!

We can’t thank Gary, the site manager, at Anwyl homes enough for helping with the snagging and making our house a home. Gary is a friendly and genuine person who really wants to help. He has helped us from the move in day to the final snagging phase. No job is too much, he’s always willing to find solutions to help resolve problems. My mum has lived alone in my house and having Gary pop in has helped her settle in to the area . His team are very professional, timely and friendly. Great Service at The Fairways Development

We recently bought a beautiful house on The Fairways development, and have been living here now for 4.5 months.Throughout the sales process; Helen, Sarah and Alex were very helpful in providing us with answers to our many questions. They were extremely supportive, understanding and calming at a time when we were dealing with stressful situations outside of our control, for which we are truly grateful.When we moved into the house, we did notice some differences between our house and the perfect show home, "snags". The overwhelming majority were small cosmetic issues, with just a handful of larger issues. As much as we would have liked everything to be perfect on day 1, we appreciate that the builders are human too.What mattered to us at this stage was for Anwyl to accept and correct the snags as quickly as possible. It's with this in mind that we can honestly say that both Gaz, Site Manager, and Will in Sales, have done a fantastic job in ensuring that these small snags didn't taint the positive experience of buying a new home.Gaz has been fantastic. He's been in constant communication with us regarding arranging different trades to come and carry out work. He ensured that the larger snags were resolved as a matter of urgency and shortly after sought about getting all of the other issues resolved. We've enjoyed a nice rapport with Gaz, he's always friendly and happy to help.Will joined the Fairways after we moved in and we're so glad he did. If we need support on an issue, or need to coordinate with site, he takes responsibility and swift action to ensure that we are happy.Overall, we're very happy and would recommend Anwyl to family and friends.Dan and Becky

My experience with Anwyl homes is definitely 5star I couldn't of asked for anything better. I'm nearly 2years in my new home I still recommend friends to buy on Alexandra gardens I'm really settled here. The site manager Carl Noble is more like a friend now although still very professional iv found all the staff super friendly and they always help out with any job I need.I'd be more than happy to re live this experience but maybe choose a house with a garage ☺️I've recently visited a few Anwyl sites I can honestly say this is my absolute favourite in how it's set out and all the greenery that Anwyl have kept.Alexandra gardens is very communal we often all get together on the green for a few drinks while the kids play. My house is situated near the main site entrance gates which I love as I'm very nosey watching them all work very hard I'm now very interested in this industry and find myself reading anything about Anwyl.I will really miss everybody when they finish here. Who know's I may buy again Alana🙂

Here is exactly why Anwyl get 1 star. Please see a quote of the head of customer services."As requested, to confirm what was stated at our meeting, at Anwyl Homes we do not pay compensation to our homeowners, choosing instead to focus on putting right any issues identified. We also do not pay goodwill gestures if we are able to complete the remedial work required. We are obligated to treat all customers fairly and by that ensure that we follow our own procedures consistently" This means they do the bare minimum required.Poor poor customer service, something I have highlited to regional execs. It is sad when you have to go to the Consumer Code for an apology.

The Oaks - amazing team!

Buying a home on The Oaks and have had excellent customer service from Carol since the start.Carol has helped arrange times for me to see the show home, kept in regular contact as to release dates and has been extremely helpful in keeping things on track.I have exchanged contracts on my new Lymm and Carol is keeping me up to date.Nothing has been too much trouble.I also viewed some other homes at a nearby site and the difference between the support offered by Carol and those at a rival site was part of the reason for choosing this property.Also a mention to Nigel, who I have also dealt with on occasion and has been nothing but helpful.Overall I couldn’t be happier with Carol and the team at the Oaks. Now just to make all the final choices and the long wait until it’s ready - but I am sure I will be kept well up to date!
