Something is wrong with the Livingston office. They usurp dictatorial power of who gets to see the properties, can place an offer and what information they then communicate to the owners. For the three weeks I had to deal with them, I observed that they pressured me to place an offer faster than I intended by claiming somebody made one already. When I wanted second viewing the leading agent Lauren said she's unavailable, so I visited owners myself to learn that they rejected the offer, which means Lauren was lying. In the meantime, Remax sent me a panicking email to stop me from speaking to the owners directly. After that it only went worse: Remax questioned my ability to pay, made me to send decision in principle and bank statements attesting my savings, a procedure unheard of amongst British property buyers I was advised by. Even my bank and solicitor was in awe of what Remax was assuming - that I cannot afford to buy it, so I shouldn't be taken under consideration. Then, after three days of waiting for confirmation of passing my offer to the owners, on Friday 5pm, Remax told me to get a solicitor who will make an offer on my behalf on Monday morning. So, what were they doing during those three days? I still managed to find a solicitor despite the profession being off on weekends. At the end my assumption is that a) Remax agents do not understand that the property will be somebody's home, where this person will need live for years taking care of the building and garden. They treat it as a fast track sales of sock or boxes, without personalised care or understanding. b) I am pretty sure that a lot of racism and working class lack of education played a role: they acted as if they've assumed that a foreign single woman is unable to rise capital (which is usually the opposite). Conclusion: my offer was rejected. I will now never contact any Remax office ever again.

We have just sold our flat through REMAX Livingston and the service we received was excellent. We dealt with Simon Thomas and he was so open, honest, professional and he listened. We had 3 other Estate Agents out to value our property but Simon stood out and we knew right away that we wanted him to sell our property and he did a great job. Nothing but praise from me! I dealt with Simon Thomas from Remax when buying my house and again, recently when I sold my house. Simon was open and honest about what to expect, provided guidance which contributed to the success of our sale. Prior to dealing with Remax for the sale of my property, I considered using another company to keep the fees down. But in the end the fees where in balance with the service provided and the service provided me assurance and support throughout the process. So, in my mind, it was worth it! The Remax team were professional and even when there was an issue, it was dealt with in a satisfactory way.

Simon and the team did an unbelievable job. I was originally going with a cheaper estate agent, however when Simon did the walk round his attention to detail spotted some minor things that were easily remediate to achieve a great sale. It made me feel like they were the right team regardless of cost. His team were always quick to respond and we felt in very safe hands, rearranging bookings at short notice. We had approximately 50 viewings in 4 days and they made sure all were well informed and well managed. I don't think we would of got such a good sale and so many quality offers without remax if I'm honest. They went above and beyond, taking our needs in to consideration at all times to get us great purchasers. Thank you so much. I would use them time and time again.

I'd just like to thank Niall McCabe for his hard work and dedication towards selling my house. The house went on the market back on the 28th of September 2020 and there was at least four viewers a week ,(probably more at the beginning) that he escorted round my property during the lock down restictions. He constantly updated me as to how viewings went and was always quick with a response/support whenever I had a query. Within a month my property was under offer, so I was extremely grateful to him and the rest of the team for making this happen. Unfortunately, house sale fell through a day before move in date, so Niall was a god send in organizing it to be put back on the market on 20th of January this year and it was under offer with new buyers by 26th of January, I'm so relieved and happy to say that house sale went through on 1st of April with no hitches. We 'interviewed' 5 estate agents to sell our property and Niall McCabe was by far the most enthusiastic, positive and profesional. Photos and valuation were done within a few days and we were expertly guided through the whole process. I sold my mum’s house through Niall McCabe, he was amazing, kept us up to date every step of the way, the house sold so quick unfortunately the buyers pulled out the day before, Niall was so professional and had more viewers within 2 days, He showed compassion and thoughtfulness towards our situation as losing your mother and selling the house was not the easiest, Niall made it a lot easier, the house was sold again within a few days, the process went through seamlessly, he was available day or night, and as I live in New Zealand the time difference did not make a difference. We met Niall a year ago whilst viewing one of his properties, I knew instantly this is who I needed to sell my house when the time came. I recently sold my home through RE/MAX under the care of Janice Bennie. From the very start, Janice was warm and welcoming. She is an extremely friendly, personable and down to earth person and I knew within minutes of meeting her I would feel safe selling my property under her care and advice. Janice was very quick to organise all aspects of selling my property from the home report, to the photos and brochure. Everything was booked in within a couple of days and my property was up for sale in a week. It then sold within 10 days. The process was very professional, efficient and stress free. The photos were done beautifully by their in house photographer and Janice worded the brochure perfectly. Also, the 3D scan of the flat was perfect for people having a virtual tour online due to covid-19. This was included for free as part of their marketing package. Janice took care of all the viewings and would phone me straight after each one with an update and feedback. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she was always so positive. Janice always listened to what I wanted and would advise me on how to best approach situations. She was also in regular contact with my solicitor and kept everyone up to date. If I text her or called, she would respond almost instantly, she always made herself available for questions and answers and a chat when needed. I am so happy with my experience with RE/MAX and Janice Bennie, I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to sell. 10 out of 10 on all aspects, I can't fault a thing.
