A huge thank you to Derrick Mooney and the team at REMAX Livingston. We genuinely could not have asked for a better experience selling our home. My husband and I actually met Derrick while we were looking for our new house. During that process we dealt with many different estate agents, but Derrick was the one who really stood out to both of us. He was warm, friendly and extremely knowledgeable, but never pushy. It was obvious that he genuinely enjoys what he does and has a real passion for property and people. We remember saying at the time that, when we eventually came to sell our own home in Broxburn, Derrick was exactly the kind of agent we would want representing it. When that time came, there was really no question who we wanted to call. This was our first time selling a property, so we did not know exactly what to expect, but Derrick made the whole process feel straightforward from the beginning. He explained everything clearly, gave us sensible and honest advice, organised the Chartered Surveyor for the Home Report and the photographer, handled all the viewings himself and kept us informed throughout. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and every conversation came with the same positivity, great energy and smile. He is simply a pleasure to deal with. We were also incredibly impressed with how our property was presented. The photographs and video were fantastic, the listing was very well written and the virtual tour was a brilliant modern addition. Having spent months ourselves looking at properties marketed by many different agents, we had seen a huge range in the quality of property marketing, and we felt that REMAX Livingston presented our home exceptionally well. There is also clearly a very good team working behind Derrick at REMAX Livingston. Everything happened quickly and efficiently, communication was excellent and the whole process felt organised and professional. The result speaks for itself: within a week of instructing Derrick, our property was live on the market. After only two days of viewings we had enough interest to set a closing date, and just one week after going live we received four offers and accepted one. For us, though, it was not only the result that made the experience so positive. It was knowing that the person showing our home genuinely cared about presenting it properly and dealing with potential buyers in the right way. We would recommend Derrick Mooney and REMAX Livingston without hesitation. If we ever needed an estate agent again, Derrick would be our first call. A massive thank you to Derrick and everyone at REMAX Livingston. Five stars very well deserved.

ReMax Livingston was a breath of fresh air. The staff are lovely , responsive and caring. Rodaidh was a great help whilst showing a property and helped greatly with any queries after the viewing. Zoe was also great with prompt communication and replies with enquiries and logistics. Overall a great experience with a lovely Amber in the Livingston office dealing with the handover ensuring it’s a smooth process. Having chosen RE/MAX (Livingston) as our selling agent, we put our house on the market in June 2024. RE/MAX were very thorough & prompt in carrying out the survey/home report & excellent at photographing & describing our home, which never looked better! We had at least half a dozen offers in the first week. Feedback was good with the 'Street' app, also with the agent keeping us up to date. Here the story becomes a bit of a saga, as the potential buyer dropped out three days before the completion date. However the RE/MAX agent, Sharon Campbell, was brilliant, not only tracking down the failed purchaser - who had not got his mortgage, but did not bother to tell us! - but also following up the other would-be purchasers, one of whom made an offer for our house. At the end of October 2024, the sale was finally completed. A big thank you to Sharon & RE/MAX for being pro-active & efficient throughout, & definitely thank you for being the human face of estate agency!
