Point Properties have been responsible for full management of my property from Autumn 2025. During this time my agent has been very supportive, delivering the service to a good standard which I very much appreciate. As an experienced landlord with an experience of working with a variety of estate agents, what I have found particularly useful and sets this agent and agency apart is their willingness to be flexible, supportive and approachable to ensure things get done and goals are achieved. Steps were taken to ensure 100% occupancy of the HMO within a couple of months. Where there was a need to change strategy to attract more tenants, the agent was proactive and their suggestion yielded the desired results. While it is still early days I have good reason to believe the positive experience will continue and hence will recommend Point Properties as they demonstrate a commitment to deliver.

The staff were genuinely great, nice and professional, but honestly, that’s where the good news ends. The owner, is a whole other story. The state of the commercial property under his watch was just unacceptable. Frankly, he is one of the most obnoxious and selfish people I’ve ever dealt with in a professional setting. He clearly doesn't care about the properties he rents out, and that shocking lack of care created major headaches and serious safety risks for us. Our tenancy was a nightmare of neglect. We constantly battled leaks, repeated flooding, a serious rat infestation, and failing piping. Even basic safety was ignored: the electrics would cut out every time there was a storm, which felt genuinely dangerous. They changed the bin rooms, which ended up blocking the fire escapes without planning going through, which they were later enforced to change back. That’s not just annoying; that’s a massive life safety violation that shows a disturbing indifference to tenants. And to top it all off, when we were exiting the lease, they pulled a completely unacceptable move. The ownership "forgot" to increase the rent every year as per the contract, and hit us with a £1,000+ charge of unpaid rent on the way out to make up for their administrative mistake. Seriously poor and dishonest business practice. If you're looking for a commercial property, save yourself the massive headache, and look elsewhere.

Broke several laws and Ivan Wan was abusive over the phone but hilariously timid in person. Property was (and is still) advertised as 2 bathrooms when there is only one, except for the 2 weeks where we had none as the support beams in the floor had almost completely rotted away. Deposit was not protected and took 35 days and a county court claim to get it back. Never before dealt with such incompetent, fraudulent agents - if I could give 0 stars I would. Avoid at all costs.

Accommodation is absolutely terrible. From my room I can hear electrical noises and loud floor board noises from residents above. The doors have faulty locks which have caused me to be locked out from the apartment waiting 40 mins in the rain just to get in. A radiator in my flatmates room smells like rotten fish. If you want a peaceful time, do not book a room at Apartment 17, Berwick street.
