GoogleWe are first time buyers and after viewing a couple of houses with other estate agents, trying to get on to ‘lists’ and trying to call but to no avail or being left in the dark a lot, we found that when dealing with Entwistle it was a different experience. Amber & Georgie were easy to get a hold of, providing really useful information, arranged viewings quickly and with no faff, answered any questions we had and were generally really good at communication. Often times we were hearing from our agents before the solicitors which really helped the sale as our communications with the solicitors weren’t great. So the agents, Amber & Georgie were able to chase up anything we needed and they updated us throughout the whole process. Long story short, from having really bad experiences with estate agents, it was quite refreshing to do this process speaking to a nice team of people at Entwistle :) thanks again!

GoogleVery poor service from this estate agent. I rang up about a property and was told someone would get back to me about viewing it. After a week had passed I rang to ask whether they had heard anything, and was told quite rudely that I needed to wait and someone would get in touch (no one ever did). On another occasion my partner and I were booked in to view a property, and the agent decided not to let us know the viewing had been cancelled beforehand! I rang the office to ask if someone was coming but no one answered the phone. It was only because we happened to be passing the office on the way home and went in that we were told what had happened. We will not be contacting this agent again!

GoogleI've had nothing but issues with this agency. They put my incorrect home address on the initial contract to sign, they provided the incorrect EPC certificate and they tried to claim in their Inventory they had given me things at the flat that they hadn't. All these are minor though compared to the fact that they also set up an electricity contract with a supplier without my permission whatsoever, and then put my landlords name on it, meaning I couldn't even access the account or choose a tariff. As they set the account up, they also had to close it. I contacted them multiple times, on both the 5th and 9th of July requesting they cancel, and they outright refused. When it was then escalated and someone more senior agreed it was their fault, they went and cancelled it then. Because of this, I was stuck on a tariff with much higher energy costs for multiple weeks, meaning I've had to pay much more because of their incompetence, and they are still claiming it wasn't their fault. As soon as they get you in a property, they will simply wash their hands of any responsibility. Leanne was particularly unhelpful and I have been forced to initiate legal action to recover costs.
