Googlewouldn't return call and by the time they did, all of the viewing slots were taken on the day i would be viewing... also went with their mortgage broker who has failed to return multiple calls and emails for weeks now

This company is a scam. I strongly regret going with them from the get go. Beverly, who is the lettings manager is completely incapable of understanding and executing basic tasks. She originally lied to us about when originally renting a flat and told us there was someone else interested to offer £25 extra a month, in which I later found out was a lie. She also mentioned that the flat was "fully furnished", and also was advertised as such, which was also a lie. The landlord told me he would never had agreed to allow them to say this. She told us the mattresses in the flat were "brand new", but after arriving looked at least 10 years old. She then took over a month, with a lot of emailing and calling to give us our deposit back, refusing to admit, she had anything to do with it. The company is so unorganised, it seems like it's ran by interns. Beverly's attitude over the phone is horrendous, she has terrible customer service skills. But hey! at least now I know, if I ever see an Entwistle Green Lettings logo on a property, to run for the hills!

I have been waiting for my deposit for 22 days after I had moved out which is unacceptable. The staff are exceptionally rude and pass you on to other people to avoid blame. Beverly who is the manager does nothing to help you out and is incapable of doing her job., Sheila who is also another member of staff is also as useless as Beverly. Do not use this letting agents I repeat do not use this letting agents they are absolutely awful and cannot do a simple task of returning a deposit which should take 3-4 working days not nearly a month.

Blackpool branch, I'm a landlord and tried ringing the letting side, have left my number twice over last couple of days, no one got back to me, tried ringing loads of times straight to the answer machine, these are the people that you are paying to rent your property, if you cannot get through how the hell can they let your property for you, I have now gone with someone else

When to view a property with this agency and there was no mention of any parking restrictions when enquiring about the property and many questions were asked.When I turned up to view the property and saw the restriction I asked if the agent had a parking permit give that no mention of any restrictionshad been mentioned. I was told no however, not to worry as there may be one inside the property.This turned out to be untrue, in that there was no permit inside and the agent was aware of this already which has now come out after complaining. As a result of the miss information, it resulted in me getting a £70 fine and Entwistle Green have basically denide any conversation ever took place regarding the parking and that I should have known prior to arrival because of a tiny sign that is in the corner of an image of the property online.If they can't even make you aware of something as simple as a parking restriction............ need I say anymore. I for 1 won't be using this agent again.£70 to view a property.

TrustpilotScammers! Do not pay holding deposit!
Took my holding deposit for an agreed let, was very excited about the place! Then started asking for things they hadn’t previously mentioned, said student loans didn’t count as proof of finance (despite knowing this prior and it saying nothing on the application contract about only professionals being allowed to rent) and kept me in limbo for almost a month with very slow replies. Suddenly they took back their offer and rejected the application but refused to refund the holding deposit. Absolutely scammers.

GoogleWe bought our home through this branch and are very satisfied with the staff. Both Alex and Daniel helped a lot during the whole process and replied in a timely manner to our many questions, even during the pandemic period making the whole process go quite smoothly. I'd definitely recommend them!

My family and I have been renting from Entwistle Green since September 2020 in Maghull. NEVER AGAIN! Nothing EVER gets fixed or reported to the landlord, even when we get through to the landlord nothing gets done. We were promised a new turf, which we got but was laid by some odd jobs man that obviously didn’t have a clue what he was doing because you can see the joins we’re the turf hasn’t knitted together. We were promised that drawers in the kitchen would be realigned as they weren’t quite right, which were still waiting for except now we have a drawer face HANGING OFF. Entwistle Green don’t seem to think this is much of an issue even though we have a toddler running around. Paying a ridiculous amount of money every month for a house that’s falling to bits. Dont bother with this company. Only care about the landlords and not the tenants.

Me and my brother was trying for weeks trying to get a place for ourselves but the people at entwhistle green in bury helped us so much , they did everything in a professional manner and were very supportive throughout the whole process. I’d just like to say the level of professionalism was through the roof as they just constantly were the best people to do this for us, not only that but some of the most caring and considerate people, not to mention how genuine they are. Thankyou very much to Martin and Leanne at bury entwhistle green.

This estate agents is a complete waste of time and money.I offered on a property, offer was accepted, valuation booked and paid for, searches started, ready for completion in 2 weeks.They have accepted an offer from another buyer. What a waste of time, I’m an experienced landlord and this has never happened to me with other estate agents.Usually I have a good relationship with my estate agents and they work well with me as they know I buy a couple of properties every year. Never using these people again

this might come across a bit harsh but do not view ,sell , or rent your property through this company i paid full asking price for a property they marketed on monday i offered them full £425000 tuesday they made me run around asking for silly documents eg driving licence copy but needs to be in colour i spoke to the seller who accepted my offer and by friday my solicitor had contacted them my mortgage advisor has given them all required.Why not be honest they kept showing the property to buyers even though the seller had said no he tells me they told him he had signed a contract.the 2 ladys who work in thjs office julia and steph have no idea and customer service they dont understand.there words we work for the seller buyers dont mean anything to uson monday they started playing myself off with others and coming with, would you like to up your offer as we got higher than the asking price.my point on all this is why not just be honest and say we will keep viewing open and best price gets instead off making you run around for silly documents when theyve no intention of accepting the offer.

I would give 0 if I couldJust enquired to the blackpool office about a house a snotty young girl answered and told me more or less not to bother with a viewing as they already had quite a few and to call back in a few days and see if it had gone.She kept talking over me butting in and even laughed at me at one point. She then said if I wanted a viewing she would have to put my details in a computer which I think she wasn't happy about and is why she put me off.Will never contact these again.

I’m not usually one to leave negative reviews but the customer service was quite possibly the worst I have ever experienced. If they would allow me to a zero star rating, I most definitely would do. The level of incompetence is beyond belief. The most unprofessional estate agents I’ve ever had the displeasure to deal with. I spoke to one their members of staff last Thursday 11/02/2021 and arranged a property viewing for Wednesday 17/02/2021. I travelled from over an hour away and when I got there the property had a sold sign up. No one bothered to notify me. All it would have taken is a simple phone call to advise me of this and it would have saved me the unnecessary journey. They even had the nerve to say the viewing wasn’t logged on their records but continue to spam my inbox with other properties available in the area. They didn’t have the decency to cancel the appointment or notify me property had been sold on the Friday. Made me drive more than 2 hours (there and back) for no reason. Avoid at all costs! If you do decide to use their services I’d suggest calling them in advance on the day of the viewing because if the property has been sold since you booked your viewing chances are they will NOT notify you at all. AVOID AVOID AVOID

I was rushed to move in by Martin from Entwistle Green Lettings Bury branch even though the property was nowhere near ready to be rented. Had several issues, damage, mould and things missing. The rent is stupidly high for what you get. Had nothing but stress with the property. Wish I never signed the contract.

One of the worst agency we dealt with. Unprofessional approach from the allerton branch manager. Raised official complaint to their customer service but offered £50 as compensation !!! Refused their offer as money was not our intention but no further action taken against the complaint. Due to time constraints did not move further.

GoogleVery low quality estate agent. Completely uninterested and useless at viewings, and then oddly suspicious of me over the phone for some reason when we rang in to make an offer. Went elsewhere in the end.

Today I was meant to be viewing a flat apartment building for rent via another online estate, but entwistle also had some affiliation towards the property, not only did they say that the building itself had already had a Tennant, which wasn't correct, the person who had the key for viewing the property wasn't even at the branch in question on that particular day. What kind of estate agents let's there estate agents waltz off with keys to the property when there were multiple viewings scheduled for the property that very day! This is my first time looking to rent a property, I will be staying far away from any properties advertised with an Entwhistle in future, they couldn't organise a chimps tea party never mind mind a housing & letting agency, I have found this episode to to be absolute champoluc disgrace, steer clear of them
