While most of the time communication was ok, when we really needed it and thought that we were going to lose everything, they sadly let us down. Whether it was for 2 days or 2 months, if you believe that, having lost your buyer on the day of exchange that you have lost everything, having given up your jobs and probably losing the property you wanted to buy, that there are no offers coming in from the multitude of viewings. When in fact, offers had come in, but in their wisdom, Cooper Adams have decided not to even mention them until the prospective buyers have been fully checked out. It might seem a strong business argument but they are dealing with people's lives and emotions and need to remember that. After the second buyer came on board the sale went through very swiftly.
Dear Pat, Thank you for your feedback and I am sorry that you felt let down at what was clearly a very stressful point in your move. Losing a buyer on the day of exchange must have been incredibly worrying, particularly with your own onward plans depending on the sale. We absolutely agree that estate agency is about people, not simply property. I would like to clarify one point. Our policy is to submit offers to our sellers the same day they are received. We will often do this while we are still gathering further information about the buyer’s financial position, chain and ability to proceed. We do not wait for every check to be completed before telling a seller that an offer has been made. I am pleased that a new buyer was secured and that the second sale progressed quickly to completion. I do appreciate though that the period immediately after losing your first buyer was extremely stressful and that you felt communication could have been better at that point. Thank you for raising it. Feedback like this has helped us continue improving how we communicate with sellers, particularly when a sale becomes uncertain or circumstances change suddenly. From start to finish, the service was great; we were always well informed and treated in a friendly manner. We had a couple of hiccups, but they were sorted out professionally. I would recommend this agency for selling or buying a home.

GoogleVery professional and thorough from start to finish. Our house was beautifully photographed and advertised and sold very quickly at above the asking price. Unfortunately our chain was rather troublesome. Although this was no fault of the estate agents they went above and beyond to chase everyone in the chain until we completed. I would especially like to commend Scarlett and Sarah in the Rustington branch who were superb. Would thoroughly recommend Cooper Adams without any hesitation.PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

GoogleWe selected Cooper Adams because we were looking for an Estate Agent which would be ‘on top’ of the whole process, keep us informed and present our property in the best possible light. From start to finish we were not disappointed. From the initial meeting with the Sales Manager, Peter Batts, through to the day to day management of our sale through Scarlett Shaw, every step of the way we felt confident and assured. The whole team at the Rustington office were easy to deal with and were always quick with answers or passing messages on. Nothing seemed to be a problem. We sold our property in Parklands, Rustington in January 2022 and would highly recommend the company and team at Rustington.

Feels strange to leave another estate agent a review, however after being in a chain with them I can highly recommend them as an agent I would use if buying or selling in their area. Great communication and they managed to rescue a situation that most agents would have just let fall apart. 5* from me and the rest of the chain that were in jeopardy of losing their new homes. GoogleEven though Cooper Adams were the estate agents for the people we were buying from rather than own estate agents, we felt like they were acting on our behalf as much as our vendors. We felt like we could contact them at any time and they would respond to our questions and requests promptly and professionally. Cooper Adams have opted to introduce Reserve Agreements between buyer and seller which adds security to the sale/purchase. This may not be to everyone’s liking due to the cost involved but it does offer security that neither party will pull out at the last minute of a purchase. Overall we would recommend Cooper Adams as an estate agent for those wishing to sell their property.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value
