FacebookI had been watching and enquiring about a property for quite a few weeks, there was no offers on it apart from my own, on sat I got a call from Claire to congratulate me and tell me the vendor was delighted to accept my offer, me and my little kiddies were over the moon and making plans for our new life in our new home, only to get a call less than 2 hours later from her husband Henry graham to tell me I basically can't have the house as a last min offer had come in and basically were taking it back of you! now this all came about on a sat afternoon 2 hours after congratulating me on my sale agreement... when the agents was closed.... all felt very strange and not quite right.... me and the kiddies were devastated that this all happened in such a short space of time, would I trust this agent... No! Understandably these things happen and we all want the best deal, but I felt it was a low blow from an agent to myself and family, I would beware of agreeing to a property with this agent as it can all be taken away again in a matter of hours! Cheers guys

I am disappointed to read your comments and would like to clarify a few points. Whilst you had instructed us that you wanted to withdraw the property, during the notice period we introduced a potential buyer who had said they were interested and wanted a second viewing just as the notice period had expired. When my office contacted you to discuss the second viewing, you refused to allow the viewing to proceed and that the property was withdrawn. Whilst this was frustrating for us and the viewer, we respected your instructions and advised the potential buyer accordingly.
You are correct in stating that the property was on the market for over a year however, you have omitted some relevant information in that we did have regular viewers and offers which resulted in the property being agreed for sale twice. It is unfortunate that both sales did not proceed however, you are aware of the reasons for this and that we could have done nothing to prevent the buyers from changing their minds. As discussed on various occasions, you were aware of the potential issues with the property that could cause problems. Having put a great deal of time and effort into trying to sell your property and provide a constant service we are all disappointed that you have decided to withdraw it from our agency.

They produced excellent marketing material and from the date of measurement for photographs, by the Director, to the process of obtaining viewings and managing their timings with us, it was a smooth process.
Having had a number of arranged viewings and achieving a positive outcome (prior to Covid 19 restrictions), they then continued to offer a professional service to us, after the housing market reopened, navigating between us and our purchaser in advance of the completion date.
