Jo Hardcastle and Kizzie Costello of Ryder & Dutton Huddersfield have been first class for customer service. Oct 1st 2026 6-months ago they looked after my house valuation. I then decided to sell the property and Jo and Kizzie continued their exemplary customer service. Positive, proactive, professional, a delight to work with. I have no hesitation in adding these comments to my previous notes (below). We successfully sold the house and will ask Ryder and Dutton to help when we sell further properties in our portfolio. March 2026 Comments. The timing of their response to my request for a house valuation, the quality of their communications and the output of the visit to my property could not have been better. I am obsessed with customer experience myself and when I get great service it is so much appreciated in a world of mediocre / poor service. Well done to both ladies and Ryder & Dutton. Long time overdue but I purchased a house which completed in July 24 - almost a year after my initial offer went in. The team at Ryder and Dutton were absolutely fabulous throughout. There was a lot of backwards and forwards when my house sale fell through and everyone went back on the market until we found another buyer and I appreciated the openness and honesty that came across from the team during that time until I had a buyer again and was able to make a reoffer. My solicitors were absolutely terrible and I just want to give a shout out to Emmy, who is *worth her weight in gold*, who pushed my solicitors on my behalf while I was working. Emmy kept me in the loop to what was going on with the seller's solicitors/what they were waiting for when I hadn't heard anything through my lot. Emmy, you absolutely prevented me from completely tearing my hair out and were such a pleasure to talk to. I cannot thank you enough. I think I'd still be waiting on a completion date without you! I didn't expect this level of service from an estate agent as a buyer but if ever I decide to move, the Ryder and Dutton team at Huddersfield would absolutely be my first choice. Thanks team!

They are completely irresponsible and ridiculous. I booked and confirmed a viewing, they changed the time twice. Finally, I received a confirmation by email and time is confirmed. I drove a hour with my family and attended the viewing on time at 10am, Unfortunately, nobody is opening the door, we tried to email or call office won’t be able to reach anyone. After 2 hours, an agency called Norman called me said my time is 11:45am, I said it’s ridiculous & impossible, the confirmation shows it’s 10am how could he lie to us this way? I have the proof and confirmation it’s 10am. This is the worst property agency ever, stay away or you are going to waste your time
