GooglePygott and Crone team in Lincoln have been helpful in finding our new home and offering help and support as needed - especially when you do not know the area. We would also like to say the communication has been great and enabled us to complete quickly. Would recommend.

TrustpilotTerrible,worst company
It is with great regret that I must express my disappointment with the team at Pygott and crone and KMRE. From the moment of our first encounter, there was a lack of interest in responding to emails or addressing issues that arose. The cost of the 2 bedroom apartments outside London, which were priced at a staggering 250k, suggested that this organisation may prioritise profit and the developer over customer satisfaction. The customer service provided by this organisation was absolutely atrocious. Even when speaking with the manager about the numerous issues encountered, it seemed as though there was a complete lack of interest in resolving the situation. Zero communication, absolutely bunch of liars. It is simply unacceptable to treat customers in this manner, especially when such a significant investment is involved. The quality of the apartments is nothing short of terrible, with poor heat and noise insulation. It appears that there is no intention to rectify these issues, which is deeply concerning. It is disheartening to realise, in hindsight, that I should have researched the reviews of others before committing to such an unscrupulous bunch.I implore the organisation to reevaluate its priorities and invest in providing exceptional customer service. It is not only ethical but also essential for the long-term success of the organisation

TrustpilotWorse house selling company ever
Worse house selling company ever. Had mothers property for sale with them over 5 months now and not ONE single viewing. Quite clearly absolutely no marketing of this property. Just stuck on internet doing zero. Definitely use someone else but these frauds.

GoogleShocking. Was going to let the poor communication go because property completed and I no longer needed to deal with them.
I am missing keys so I have contacted… apparently I have lost them! No responsibility taken for anything!
Should this review get a response I expect it will contain further justification for their poor customer service and accusations of inaccuracies rather than solutions.

TrustpilotDO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY BUYER or SELLER. Horrendous experience from start to finish, i used the Nottingham branch. I am a first-time buyer and the whole experience has put me off altogether. i went to view a property in which I decided to put in an offer- this offer was the asking price. 4 days had passed, and after numerous amounts of phone calls I still wasn't clear as to whether the offer had been accepted or not, all i was told is the venders are very happy with the offer but need further details. At this point i had emailed numerous amounts of documents all proving i had the deposit, how the mortgage was being funded, evidence i was able to get the mortgage. Yet they continued to push for more documents bearing in mind the offer hadn’t even been accepted at this point. I would not be surprised if this company hadn't even made the owners aware of my offer in hope they were going to receive a higher one as it was all very odd. I was pushed into having what they described as ‘Free financial advice’ phone call. I agreed and she called me. She was extremely rude to me and very pushy when I told her numerous amounts of times I had already sorted out the mortgage side of things. She then went on to demand I sent over the evidence after I had told her 5 times I had a meeting later that afternoon with the bank manager so couldn’t in fact do anything until then. After a few days of waiting the guy i was dealing with assured me he would be in touch Friday, to let me know whether the offer had been accepted. It turns out he was on Annual leave so i had a call from the 'branch manager’ I am a 23 year old woman and I can honestly say I have never been spoken the way he spoke to me, he was very belittling and patronizing. I am absolutely disgusted with the way I was treated and I certainly will not be using this company again

TrustpilotExcellent service throughout
Excellent service throughout. We have found Pygott and Crone extremely good at marketing, advertising and communicating with ourselves. Pre sale all the way through to completion has been seemless. Particular thanks go to Fiona Hodgkiss for her expediency, clarity adn friendliness throguhout and Aiden Turner for his advice and photo skills whilst putting the brochure together.

TrustpilotBy far the worst experience I have had with any estate agent!
Inefficient and incompetent! These agents do not care about the customer they undervalued the property this was evident upon survey being completed. Failed to carry out the most basic checks causing the first sale to fall through literally at the completion stage! After 8 months they were still unable to facilitate a sale on the property despite being told its immaculate and marketing it as a featured property. Then having decided to withdraw the property from the market because of the awful service they provided I was told they will land me a £300 withdrawal fee.Greedy and disgusting I am surprised they are still in business!Shame I can’t give zero stars 1 seems too generous.

TrustpilotAs a buyer who has bought a house with…
As a buyer who has bought a house with them, Im only giving 1 star. Here are some of the reasons why:1. So greedy, they sometime dont even tell the seller when you've given a counter offer, but kept pushing you to give better offers.2. They would give you stupid reasons to push you accepting ridiculous prices, remember to do a lot of viewings with the others before dealing with them.3. They would help the seller to promise a lot of things, but they wont make sure that the seller actually fulfill any of them. When the seller failed to fulfill any of the promises, or even failed to fulfill the contract (leaving rubbish and mess and unwanted furniture behind, missing paperwork, promised work not done, etc.) Pygott & Crone dont care and will only say its not their job to make sure any of that. This is REALLY serious matter, and very immoral. They wouldnt even offer to contact the seller for you at the first place. If you are buying a house through them, BEWARE.

GoogleOverall, showed a lack of interest. No continuity between agents, customers and viewers. Not all customers are computer literate, hence they rely on direct contact between themselves and agents, of which there was very little.

TrustpilotRoque estate agent!
In 2018, I placed an off-plan property with the Lincolnshire branch of Pygott and Crone.Whilst they found me a buyer, my own estate agent, who was meant to be acting for me, colluded with the buyer's solicitor MJP Solicitors of Norwich and developers Jackson & Jackson along with the buyer and basically stole the property from underneath me.This resulted in a loss of £14,000 deposit and an additional loss of £15,000 profit.Total loss was £29,000.The estate agent never even called ,me to offer an apologise or give an explanation. It's as if I never existed!I have all the evidence, so if any names mentioned in this review has an issue, I will back it up with substantial proof and evidence! This review will remain, as it is a reflection of the truth and corruption within the estate agents industry!

TrustpilotPygott and Crone
Pygott and Crone had my property on the market for 2 years. They failed to get many viewings and completely failed to market my property effectively. They only took 4 photos of the apartment for the brochure. I left the property with them only because they charge a fee to exit the contract with them. So I had to pay them for their total failure to sell my property. I would not go anywhere near them. They are the worst estate agents I have ever come across

TrustpilotSleaford branch.
Sleaford branch. We was buying a property in North Kyme, everything was in place - surveys, solicitors, we even cut our holiday short because it appeared that the move was progressing quicker than expected. However when we came back the move date repeatedly got pushed back and back. The man in this property would not get out of the house, he wanted contracts to exchange with no move dates. We repeatedly booked time off work for each suggested move date and then he’d push it back. Everyone in the chain was disappointed, and we have just been notified by our own agent that our buyers have pulled out. So we have lost a lot of money through this seller messing around. We then checked the north kyme property this morning to see he has taken it off, we checked with the agent and it appeared it was a mistake. So the man selling the house has not only put it back on the market but he has the nerve to put it up for an extra 20k! I would have thought that the estate agent would have more responsibility to the buyers, we have lost a lot of money because of this seller. I wouldn’t recommend this home, and I have lost faith in the agent for continuing to advertise properties like this.

GooglePlease dont use these as your letting agent as they dont care about your property , the property they are agents for has a leak above me, my husband had to come home from work to see where the water was coming from, because the agents wouldnt send anyone out because the tenants didnt know they had a leak, for god sake we live in a ground floor apartment, the water is coming through the ceiling, where do you think its coming from? my husband and tenant found the leak, but they cant stop it, after a few heated phone calls to letting agent with no joy, i have had to go to the management team that runs our property, maybe they can help and give letting agent a kick up the butt , the tenants were given the plumbers phone number but he/she wont pick up, we reported 4 and a half hours ago, its not on, just think of the damage it is making, and the cost the landlord will have to pay, not just for his property , mine as well, this is the 4th leak from this property i have had to deal with under this agent. come on get a grip, and by the way i found the young lass on the phone rude and thoughtless couldnt give a t@@s, maybe some people skills wont go a miss...........24th September 2018 Didnt get a call back from manager of letting agent Friday as asked, plumber did come out 5 hours latter to fix leak from apartment above, after talking to tenant above he said that the phone number the letting agent had given him was for the plumber but he was off , So maybe more communication between contractor and agent we might of got a plumber sooner and there might of been less damage . I have British gas plumbing insurance and the plumber is out within an hour as leaks is one of there top priority .
