About First Choice Move Lillyhall
Your independent estate agent in Cumbria. The days of estate agents charging a fortune to sell your property are coming to an end. At First Choice Move, which is a rapidly growing estate agent based in Cumbria, we offer fantastic value, and service, at unbeatable prices. We believe that there is no need for people to have to pay thousands of pounds to sell their property, especially in this day and age. With our dynamic, and new approach to marketing your property, utilising a wide range of resources, you can be sure your property receives maximum exposure to potential buyers. It is well known that estate agents have a bad reputation, only politicians seem to be less popular! Some estate agents do a good job, others, well, not so good. The two main reasons why this poor reputation has developed, is due to high fees, and the question, "what are you doing for the money you're being paid". Well, with our low prices we believe we have dealt with the fee issue. Regarding the question "what are you doing for the money being paid" we have tried to cover that below:

FacebookI had my house on the market previously with another estate agent with not many viewings, so moved to first choice move. The photos were a hugh improvement and I had a lot more viewings. The speed and professionalism in arranging a mutually beneficial time for the viewings was exceptional and the feedback after viewings was swift. Would definitely recommend them.

GoogleThis was the third local estate agent we have used and they were excellent - much better photos than the other two and and very efficient follow up of viewings without prompting. They managed to secure a sale in a short space of time and have been helpful at all times. Excellent value for money compared with others.

GoogleVery bad experience. Had to chase daily to find out what was going on, just to be told they tried to contact me... Must have been smoke signals as I had no missed calls or emails

GoogleShocking fee prices. Also wanted a guarantor do not recommend at all go through a landlord not these
Agent replied · 27 August 2023
Hi Kathryn. We believe our fees are very competitive, as other agents charge more. A guarantor is requested when an applicant does not meet the criteria to rent a property outright with their own details/credit history. Guarantors are used frequently and it is normal procedure in many circumstances.
