GoogleI used Dan, Verity, Nikki and the team to sell my property recently and could not speak more highly of the service I received. Friendly, bespoke and always in constant communication, supportive and genuinely made a stressful process simple. Thanks D&D could not recommend you enough!

FacebookWe sold our house a few months ago, thanks to the fantastic team at Downes and Daughters. From the very start of the process we were given all the support necessary to make this possible. Nothing was too much trouble! Dan spent several hours taking the best photographs and then the team take over. There were regular update calls which reassured us constantly, never did it feel like we were dealing with an estate agent as everyone in the team are so friendly. If there was no news, it was Covid lockdown, the ladies would still call to reassure us everything was going to plan. We would absolutely have no hesitation in recommending this incredible team. Thanks for everything Peter and Toni

GoogleA must for anyone wanting to sell. From the beginning they were professional, clearly understand the business and throughout kept us updated and informed with progress. They really did make an effort to sell our property, not just list it, and there is a difference. Also, don't underestimate the power of a great estate agent to actually unblock issues in the chain - they are the unsung heroes of getting things moving. Well, Downes and Daughters are for sure and I would 100% choose them again. Thank you Dan and Verity and the rest of the team.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleWe honestly couldn’t recommend Downes & Daughters more highly. From start to finish, they went above and beyond for us, not just during our sale, but also throughout the purchase of our new home. … More
What an incredible review Cait. Thank you so much. We are always happy to help and the guys in the office really are the best in the business. Hope all the renovations are going well and hope to bump in to you both in one of the pubs soon. Many thanks.

GoogleThe level of professionalism and service given on both the sale of my property and the purchase of my next property was outstanding. Myself and all other parties involved were kept informed promptly at every stage of the process. Furthermore, the team at Downes and Daughters were proactive in navigating successfully through unexpected stages of complexity in this process. They always had the most friendly and personal manner and were a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Downes and Daughters Ltd.
Thank you Sally. We are all very interested to see what the new place looks like once you have put your stamp on it. I'm sure it will be stunning.

FacebookWe had a couple of estate agents round as you do to compare and Dan was so lovely from the second we greeted him at our door. Super friendly, complimentary of our home and gave some great pointers about selling our home. The photography is the best on the market without giving any false impressions of size etc. I love their family values and set up. They were super informative, verity would email even when on holiday! We had a very tight deadline in order to keep the house we wanted to move to and their dedication to make this happen was second to non! I would highly recommend!

GoogleWe purchased our first home through Downes and Daughters around 6 years ago, and were that impressed with the team that we also appointed them to represent that same property in January 2021. The service was amazing as always, very responsive, professional, but also with a lovely personal touch. They know Lichfield very well, and were able to give fantastic advice. The property was 'Spoken For' within a week, after that Verity and the team were fantastic all the way through to the exchange of contracts - lots of advice, and guidance! Highly recommended!PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleMyself and my partner bought a property from Downes and Daughters just before the UK were locked down due to Covid-19. Despite being locked down, Verity at Downes and Daughters was super helpful and helped get our purchase through at record speed (considering all the limitations we were facing due to Covid!) As first-time buyers, we hadn't gone through the process before, but Verity helped make it as smooth and easy as possible - keeping us informed and updated on a very regular basis! If I had any questions, Verity was quick to respond and always available to help. We're very thankful to Downes and Daughters for making our house buying process so easy and stress-free. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to purchase/sell a home through a trusty estate agent! Thank you again to Verity and everyone at Downes and Daughters!PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleVerity, Dan and the team are superb. They really appreciate that people are buying or selling a home and not just a house. We had been on the lookout for a home for a few years, when the right one for us came up we were alerted and Downes and Daughters were instrumental in securing the house for us. They also helped speed things along through the conveyancing process. I would thoroughly recommend them, without hesitation.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleHaving had a disappointing experience with marketing the property with another agent I asked Downes & Daughters to help. Dan, Verity and the team were very professional from the start and soon had visits arranged. From offers to acceptance and closing they were very helpful and professional, always understanding the chain, speaking to solicitors and other agents and making sure everything progressed smoothly. I would highly recommend the team to anyone seeking to market a propertyPositiveProfessionalism

GoogleWhat can we say about Verity and her team? Absolutely remarkable!! Excellent, professional, super-friendly service that began from the very first phonecall and continued until the handover of keys (and beyond that!)! You were such a pleasure to to talk to and were always available to help and advise throughout, always adding that fantastic personal touch to all our communication and contact as only you know how to! Thank you so much for making the whole process so smooth and helping to make our first home a reality! You truly stand out leaps and bounds beyond any estate agency we have ever dealt with (this includes outside of the UK as well!) and we really believe that you and your team are THE role model for your industry/sector. GoogleWe cannot thank Dan and Verity enough for the very friendly and personal approach that they took to selling our home. They were professional and honest throughout. We loved that it was small run family business - it was reassuring to speak to familiar voice each time we would make contact. We were always kept up to date and involved through tour the process . We would highly recommend these agents and will without thought use again if we sell again!

GoogleThat’s twice we’ve now used D&D’s for the sale and purchase of our main residential properties and always recommend them highly. Right from the start of the engagement, Dan and Verity, together with their team, always went above and beyond to ensure the whole experience was of the highest quality - from the excellent marketing to managing the sales/purchase process and interaction between all parties. Nicky and Kim are fantastic communicators and went to great lengths to ensure we were always in the loop. Thanks guys !

GoogleWe enlisted the services of D&D for the sale of our house in 2022, after initially opting for a different, more National agent in Lichfield. Unfortunately, that decision led to a challenging experience. Realizing our mistake, we returned to D&D, and they warmly embraced us once again. Within a mere two weeks, they successfully sold our house to a fantastic couple, demonstrating exceptional expertise in navigating through various obstacles we faced while purchasing our new home. We wholeheartedly endorse the D&D team and can't speak highly enough of their dedication and competence!
