As first-time landlords, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Winkworth. The whole team has been absolutely fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable, and always approachable. I rate Winkworth Kensal Rise very highly and have let my flat with the company for many years now, as I know I will be getting uncomplicated, efficient, fair and friendly service from a team of specialists. I find Director Aaron particularly helpful. They are great at finding trustworthy, respectful tenants and guiding me through the layers of paperwork.

GoogleAvoid this estate agent's at all costs. They are unprofessional, pushy and work with sellers that they know are not legit. The flat I was buying fell through because the seller pulled out and George and Jordan didn't even bother to inform me - I found out through my solicitor which is, they tell me, practically unheard of as the solicitor is usually the last to know. I called and called for an explanation and eventually got through to Jordan, who said George should have contacted me. He then told me that the seller wasn't replying to their calls, had pulled out for no reason and had 'done this before' so they didn't know if the sale would happen. I asked why are you working with disreputable sellers and received no explanation. I'd also love to know why George pushed and pushed for me to hurry things along my end, only for this to fall through and for him not to even bother to contact me to let me know? Disgraceful cowboys.

Dear Georgina, My sincere apologies that the sale of Wagner Street did not proceed until exchange / completion. Unfortunately the vendor gave us no explanation and we were notified by her solicitor who would have then in turn have contacted your side to give the unfortunate news. I can confirm that George and Jordan both tried to contact you on a number of occasions to relay this information but were unable to make contact. I can assure you that my team and myself are not a pushy / unprofessional agent and I apologise if this is how we have come across. It is after all to our best interest for sales to go through and we will always do our best to work with both parties involved to get a sale to completion in a timely and stress-free manner. The seller did previously withdraw from the sale of another property she was selling in the same building before exchange of contracts but assured us she was still proceeding with your sale. I apologise if George pushed to get things moving forward but as a sales progressor, this is exactly what we employ him to do. George is the in-between party that helps correspondence between both solicitors and both buyer and seller to get to exchange and completion. In this instance, it is unfortunate that Winkworth would have been unable to change any of the above. We have both the sellers and buyers best interests at heart and conduct ourselves in a professional manor at all times. GoogleFirst class service from start to finish from team at the Forest Hill branch. From replying to emails, amending photos, keeping me updated and advising me, the team were excellent. The viewings and offers came in quickly, so they really know how to market properties competitively. The sale was particularly difficult due to circumstances completely out of our control, but they reacted swiftly and ensured we kept the momentum going when problems arose. This is also where they really earned their fee and very important as the UK buying process is fraught with pitfalls and a good agent can save a lot of heartache. Highly recommended!

Aaron Priscott is an absolute legend. I ended up with nowhere to live after maida vale floods and he said "I know a guy". Relocated us, got us into our new home. Then at the new year. I said I want to stay here, Aaron made it happen. Hes a legend and I have no idea how he did all of that. Now I just live a life with my dog 🐕. Thanks Aaron for being such a legend. TrustpilotOverall I think they are good agents.
The entire experience was very good. However I cannot give full 5 stars because I had clearly stated in my offer that I required professional cleaning of the property I rented before my entry and this was obviously not done. Winkworth offered a top up cleaning which is why I remove only one star. Still this caused some stress and delays to me. For 5 stars I would have wanted everything to be done perfectly from the start. Overall I think they are good agents.
