We recently exchanged contracts selling our flat through Pedder and found the team really efficient and helpful. We were selling and buying and the process ran generally smoothly. The team were always quick to respond to messages and queries and liaised with our buyers and solicitors regularly to keep things moving. We received an offer pretty quickly, so didn’t see a lot of what they do in marketing properties but we were happy with all the advice we received when putting the flat on the market. The only point for improvement we would raise, was they could have done more to help us find an onward property, as we didn’t get a lot of suggested properties from them when we were looking for our next place. But once we had an onward place sorted they were helpful with ensuring everything worked out for the chain.

Had a lot of issues with the agent at this office. Throughout our purchase process there was a lack of transparency, a lack of ownership of mistakes made on their part or by the vendors (more often gaslighting us and painting us as the ones in the wrong), and a complete breakdown in communication throughout price negotiations and when there were issues further up the chain. The former of these actually led us to pull our offer and so the vendors ended up with a lower price. It felt as though a lot of the issues we faced might have been caught earlier had there been more transparency and responsibility on the agent's part. I hope they learn from the mistakes made here to avoid a similar experience with other potential buyers.

We recently brought a property through Pedder and they were brilliant throughout the process. We were first time buyers and had to go from offer acceptance to completion in 6 weeks. Pedder were there every step of the way to help us through any issues and keep us on track. When we started with Pedder for our property sale, all seemed to be going well and the pre-sales experience was smooth. But post-sale, everything changed at the first hiccup it became clear that, even though we were paying their fees, they were not there to protect our interests.We had daily calls to exchange contracts when we weren't in a position to do so with our purchase, fully knowing the risk that exposed us to. Constant attempts to undermine the lawyers to the point where our solicitor suggested we move the sale somewhere else. And all of this only increased as we got to quarter end financial targets.We will not be using Pedder again and a stark contrast to their competitor who we bought off

However after meeting Natasha at Pedder I decided her expertise in the local market, coupled with her professional but friendly approach would suit me better and I wasn't disappointed. Natasha and team were all very responsive, profession and happy to give advice when needed. My sale took longer than expected due to my buyers solicitor being very pedantic, but communication remained strong and a final deadline was met. Very poor after-sales service

Actually they were pretty good when we were looking for a house to rent and helped us through that process very well. But the follow up on the maintenance issues has been extremely poor. We raised several health and safety issues and 6 weeks later they have still not been addressed despite telling us in a mail how they would be fixed. Every problem is pushed off to someone else. You really feel like they took their commission and now they don't care. Very disappointing after-sales service from Pedder in Dulwich Village.

Difficult to get deposit back and don't look into wear & tear

We have just finished the tenancy with Pedder Dulwich Village and they seem to be heavily favouring landlords for checkout deposit process. We paid for an expensive professional end of tenancy clean but pedder inventory clerk reported such minor issues that it looked hilarious to even notice it.Similarly, they didn't take normal wear and tear into account and Pedder just asked me to talk directly to the landlord for deposit negotiations instead of looking to propose and release the deposit. It sounds a big pain to get the deposit back.I would refrain from taking a property again from Pedder and suggest them to be practical so that people have a smooth experience.
