I really appreciate how Petros helped me resolved every issue, he walked me through it and checked that everything was completed. The Dexter’s management team are so supportive and helpful. Issues were quickly resolved.

Donalina has been instrumental in keeping me updated with an issue I reported around a water leak in a flat above mine. She always called me and for me that’s the best thing about her. So many times I engage with agents who say they’ll call back and it never happens. Not the case with Donalina. Very good 👍🏽.

Great services and very professional

We recently moved into our new rental house with help from Ashley at Dexters Battersea. Ashley has been super helpful throughout the whole rental process. Very professional, effective, thoughtful, and perfect in following up and giving updates. We are very impressed with the service that Ashley provided. We were dealing with another Real Estate company when looking for a rental house in the same area, and we were so glad that we went with Dexters but not the other company which happened to carry the same house we rented through Dexters!

Viewing Experience

My mum was looking for a new ground floor flat and to sell her own property. Hannah Walker met us at the apartment we’d chosen to view and throughout the entire time remained friendly and professional. Hannah answered all our questions and talked us through all the property features - she was extremely knowledgeable in this particular area and we felt we were in good hands. Since the viewing, Hannah has been in contact with us and arranged for the Twickenham branch to come and value my mum’s property. I couldn't get my deposit back for…

I couldn't get my deposit back for about 20 days. When I call they say to talk to the landlord.I solved the problem with landlord and he made an another contract with remaining tenants. Another contract has been made and they are not refunding my money even though they have taken their new deposit. I am the one who paid the deposit, the date and amount are known, but none of them know where the deposit is. Absolutely disgraceful management and behavior. I dont know other branches but Chiswick Dexter is very awful.

Dexters Bloomsbury was the worst

Dexters Bloomsbury was the worst nightmare one could imagine. The house was disgusting and dirty and they have failed to professionally clean it for 3 days. They repeatedly breached the contract by failing to provide a clean house and free of other people stuff. On top of that, the previous tenants had Covid and still they did not care about cleaning it. Honestly, if you want to live in a decent place and deal with reasonable people I strongly advise you not to use this letting agency

Very unprofessional experience

Very unprofessional experience with Dexters Acton. Total waste of time!I've just relocated to London, and it's the first letting agency we've ever worked with. At first, everything was fine...until we've successfully placed our holding deposit and finished our reference checks. The referencing agent informed us to communicate with our letting agent, Lara-Rose Elsi. So we called and emailed her for a status update. However, we haven't got any replies since then - not even from her colleagues - NO FOLLOW-UPS AT ALL! After one week or two, another Dexters agent got back to me. He said Lara was not around (again!), and the landlord decided not to rent us the property one week before (what?). We were in total shock. Why didn't they tell me right away? Why didn't they have any official or written confirmation? They simply left me there waiting and wasting my time! I could have started looking for other properties much earlier if they told me the landlord had decided to pull out!I don't understand why a "professional" letting agency can operate like this. It's okay for an agent not feeling well or takes a week off - it's totally fine and I understand that - I just don't see why they have poor communication, and they simply don't have other staff members to follow up with my case when the original agent is not available. Advice: Stay away from this unprofessional agency!

Very poor experience with Dexters

I don't want to name any individuals or even the branch, but our experience trying to sell our house through Dexters in North London was very poor. They exerted a lot of pressure to reduce the price, which may or may not have been the right advice. But in my view they overstepped the mark in how pushy they were. One employee felt the need to remind me they weren't getting paid anything until they sold the house. Another employee couldn't disguise his anger when I accepted an offer through another agent, and then asked them to cancel their viewings. I can understand why they were disappointed, but they couldn't compute that I'd in effect shaken hands on another deal, and thought it unethical and pointless to have further viewings at that stage. They also subsequently refused to mark our property as 'sold subject to conditions' (as requested), arguing that it was in our interests not to do this. Like other agents they were clearly reliant on Rightmove and the other aggregators for leads, though (like other agents) they claimed to have an amazing database outside that. The senior guy talked a very good game at the start to win the business, but then pretty much disappeared completely. The attitude of staff clearly stems from an aggressive culture at the top of the food chain which becomes expected of employees. I don't blame junior staff, they are just trying to exhibit the type of behaviour that is rewarded within the organisation. Agencies like this have a limited shelf life.

I recently moved out of a rental property that was let through Dexters. Sacha dealt with the check-out procedure and negotiations with the landlady about any funds being retained for damage. She was very diplomatic about it and handled the whole thing brilliantly.
