GoogleConnells in Baldock/Letchworth did exactly what they promised. We were inundated with viewings from the word go and they sold our house in 3 weeks! We did not expect it all to move as quickly as it did. A brilliant team to work with. Very impressed.

Googlefantastic support through a very long sale. highly professional, informative throughout and kept me updated frequently. All staff were approachable and friendly. 10 out of 10 for dealing with a very stressful and complicated sale so well. They earned every single penny on this one and were fantastic throughout! extra thanks to Imogen who was very, very supportive and couldn't have been more helpful whenever I contacted the office. As first time buyers the estate agents were terrible. We had a mortgage in principle yet they still insisted we could not proceed until we spoke to their mortgage advisor. They took a week to get us ‘qualified’ to put in an offer and because of this we lost out on our house. There was a lack of communication and lack of explanations and all round rude service. Would not recommend one bit

GoogleMassive thank you to Jodie at Connells Letchworth. From the day we viewed our now home to collecting the keys. Jodie went above and beyond to keep us up to date with any news, relaying messages and questions we wanted to ask vendors. Tried to book a viewing with Connells and heard nothing back for a week (although they say replies expected within 48hrs). Called up directly and instead booked the viewing over the phone. They then proceeded to add the wrong information for me which I only noticed when I had no confirmation. Called back again, changed the information but in doing so lost me the viewing slot that had to be rebooked to a different date but whilst waiting for the new date the house had multiple viewings and sold quickly.I asked to be contacted on any relevant properties which were listed to which I was refused as I hadn't booked in to meet with their mortgage department. What a scam! I then tried to book a second viewing on a different property which, once again, nobody replied to me. It has since been 3 months with no reply and luckily for me I've now purchased a property with another estate agent. If you're thinking of selling with Connells i'd avoid like the plague because they have no drive to even try to do their jobs.

The worst agent I’ve ever dealt with before. They absolutely stand on the landlord’s side and never consider the tenant’s side. They’ve helped the ridiculous and unreasonable landlord to claim all our deposits. Our landlord and neighbours spied on us and slandered us. Our landlord being so unreasonable claiming us for redecoration that they should really spend to redecorate before renting to another tenant. They’ve avoided this cost by claiming all our deposits. Actually they didn’t even decorate/refurnished the house before renting to us. They didn’t even clean up the property before renting to us. Then they would claim us on cleaning and redecorating the property. The agency believes the landlord their client. Never consider and care about us.

This company should be shut down! Shocking!! They under valued my home by £35,000 after 3 other companies valued it at the correct price causing a long chain to collapse! There are hundreds of other similar reviews.Why is nothing being done about this company! All google reviews and trust pilot are 1 star! They should be disgusted by themselves!! What are they gaining by doing this!

Mutley plain branch! They made my life hell! I tried buying a house through them they lied to the seller and to me and even lied to my lawyer about taking a house I clearly said I'm not interested! Sam the manager is very unprofessional! DO NOT BUY A HOUSE OR SELL ONE THROUGH MUTLEY PLAIN YOU WILL DEA WITH SAM AND HE WILL MAKE YOUR LIFE HELL! AND HE WILL LIE ABOUT EVERYTHING YOU BUYING OR SELLING YO GET YOUR MONEY!

GoogleI have used Connells Estate Agents many times and yet again the recent experience with selling my late parents-in-laws property was very professional. Craig P was extremely sensitive with dealing with the family from day 1 and kept us up to date during the sale. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell.

The very worst Estate agents by far! I reported a maintenance issue and was told to watch a YouTube video to resolve it. The tenancy ended in May 24 and they wanted to claim from my deposit. I raised a dispute and they charged their minds. I am still waiting for my deposit 6weeks after the tenancy ended. They have no sense of urgency (not to tenants in my opinion) and will frustrate the hell out of you. Very poor customer service and they don't care about you. Don't be fooled by the brand name. Avoid doing business with them if you want peace of mind.

Trying to sell my mums house , I live abroad so I have to rely on phone calls and emails (A) little or no communication so I have no idea of what’s going on (B) cut off on a phone call half way through speaking because the rep obviously didn’t think what I had to say was important (C) flim flam & nonsense every time I call(D) they say they will send a email by the end of the day … this never happens(E) agent says he will send a mail by the end of the day … then goes on vacation and I’m left hangingI shall have to see this through , I have zero choice , but I wish I’d read these reviews first.Sheisters

Crikey, what a mess. Had a rental with Connells Management, also bought a property which was under Connells Management. It is quite clear that there is not many of the personnel there that know what they're doing. They use old documentation with incorrect practice process, prices, and details on. They don't communicate with other team members, if team members go on holiday, your case is on hold. Multiple conversations where the person in question doesn't actually know the process or anything about the process. Informed a problem is solved, only for it to continue, forcing you to keep calling and dealing with them.I have never known a business so incompetent in every area where you have to deal with them.With any luck, I shall never have the pleasure again.

As a tenant I moved out of my property on 31st May .. my landlord approved the cleanliness and tidiness of the property on 4th June, so this was all ok, and I was told my deposit money had been requested from Connells. By 13th June I still hadn't received anything so I chased Connells who told me they'd "been waiting for an email from myself" to authorise fund transfer. This was the first I'd heard about this. So I sent the email, was told the funds would be processed, but it could take 10 working days...On 25th June I still had no deposit money and no update, so I called Connells requesting information. After being hung up on, after continually persisting, I finally got through to someone who told me my deposit request HADN'T EVEN BEEN PROCESSED ... words fail me at this point. They have now told me I should have my deposit money back this week but at this point I wouldn't be surprised if I need to chase it yet again. At what point does it become criminal negligence to withold this substantial sum of money from its rightful owner?

First I was promised 28 working days from the house sale being completed 2 months went by then told 28 working days from when they send in the invoice. The account team sent an email to say this is being fast tracked and I would get it by 7pm still nothing back and getting excuses after excuses

Absolute Scam artists. Ridiculous deductions from deposit (£250 for an oven that needed cleaning and a shower screen that was dirty). Neighbours said cleaners never attended, refused to provide an invoice for cleaning. Useless communication. Agent I dealt with made return of deposit as diffcult as possible (taken 2.5 months) and pulled stunts like ignoring my email for a week, emailing a reply at 5:20 on a Friday and when I responded immediately, got an "out of office for a week" auto-response. Scum.

Honestly, the worst company you could work for or use as a client. I have not experienced everything quite like it. I had witnessed, heard and been made to tell so many lies to paying customers. Money is all they care about, not ones health. Not a good company.

We completed on our house on Friday and We used connells as our Agent, their customer service is awful. No viewing feedback, I had to ring them each time to ask, most times just being told we can’t get hold of them. On one viewing I happened to be in the house and the agent let it slip that the week before the woman who was supposed to view our house didn’t actually view it and there was confusion and it wasn’t our house she wanted to view, instead of telling us this, they made up feedback and said one of the bedrooms was too small! They had a key for us in their office so they could let themselves in to do viewing yet one time we got called back to let them in as they didn’t know they had a key! After we had agreed an offer that was the last we pretty much heard from them. I would chase and chase on emails for updates just to get a snotty email back from Adam who’s the sales branch manager. Absolutely no communication pretty much from start to finish!
