GoogleWe had a drawn out process but Lewis Harvey who showed us round the house was really helpful for updates and advice as we was going through, pleasure to deal with him. Also Charlene who had to help with our case while someone on holiday but she was great and best person dealt with on progression side.

Avoid this company. Called to book a viewing for a property they had for sale. Spoke to someone on the phone and book in an appointment to view the property. Got given a time and date and was told I would get an email confirmation with all the details. Instead I got an email from them with other properties that was not in the area I wanted and not in my price range. Advising if any of the properties I was interested in to give them a call. I emailed back to advise I was only interested in the one property I called about and reconfirmed the time and date and hear nothing back.

The sales and viewings are conducted professionally with the agent attending every viewing personally (a rare thing in my experience) and feedback being given promptly and honestly. Sales progression was a dream and Michelle was never more than a message away no matter what we needed. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to experience a very high quality service with passionate and committed staff.

GoogleAwesome company! Sam and Josh were so great, friendly and above all helpful. Always at the end of the phone and know how to handle people even when it might have been bad news ( not their fault). Could recommend these guys more. We will for sure use them again :)

That all changed when I met Benjamin, who turned out to be an incredible guide and advocate throughout the entire homebuying process. GoogleDelighted with the service provided by Ed, Lewis & Ross at Gilbert & Rose. My husband & I have used Gilbert & Rose before & wouldn’t use any other estate agent in Leigh. We like the transparency of their fixed fee structure along with the way in which they regularly updated us on the progression/feedback of viewings & our sale (once a price was agreed) Ed, Ross & Lewis are professional in the way they work but are also approachable, easy to get on with & importantly, easy to get in touch with quickly. This really worked for us & I think works on the other side of the sale for buyers also (as they’ve found us buyers promptly on two separate properties at competitive prices) I’m not surprised G&R have become a force in Leigh on Sea, particularly over the past 5 years, and we’ll be using them again Kayleigh & David Gough

GoogleDo not waste your time or money with company. Yes you might see their boards everywhere but they cannot cope with their workload, and as a result will give you a sub-par service. You will speak to 101 members of the team, and no one will know your property or anything about yourselves as a customer. You do not get feedback after viewings, we only received them when we left the company. As soon as we left this estate agent and swapped, we sold within 10days and the experience could not have been any different. Our appointments we had with the team were cancelled and delayed and generally we were just messed around. Gilbert and Rose damaged our driveway, leaked oil all over it, and attempted to cut corners in attempting to fix it. The company refused to return it to its original condition. As a result, the company made their own team member pay for the repair out of their own wages. Even the directors do not know how to deal or speak to customers. The company as a whole is rude, inefficient and useless. Avoid this estate agents.

GoogleFor the last two and half years, we have used Gilbert & Rose to manage our property rental. We receive excellent service levels from Ben Lawrence (Senior Property Manager) who has never let us down in getting things done, and who is always very reliable and responsive - nothing is ever too much trouble, which makes for a stress free time for us. Ben always keeps us informed of anything regarding our tenants, to ensure we can be responsible landlords enabling us to hold on to our tenants accordingly. We always recommend Gilbert & Rose if we are ever asked about who we use to manage our property rental.
