GoogleVery disappointing experience that made me lose money.
They promoted a property with false information (flat with a shed, but it really didn't have a shed), and reassured me over email 3 times. When I had paid a solicitor almost $700 it came clear that the shed was not a part of the property and they refused to reimburse me and continue to do business with the vendors that gave false information.
This agency did no verification, and when they realise their ad was false, they said there is nothing they can do. What value do they add except republish false info with no accountability? They just wanted their commission with no ethics.
They even said "they can see it from both sides", from a vendor giving false information and a buyer that is losing money, they just don't care.
As you can see in their other 1 star reviews, they just brush them off with no capacity to learn and become better. It's always someone else's fault.

Hi Tony, thankyou for taking the time to leave a review. We're sorry that your disappointed with the outcome of this transaction. To clarify a few points for anyone reading, as an estate agency, we can only market and advertise a property based on the information provided to us by the vendor. In this case, the vendor advised that the shed formed part of the property and this was relayed to you in good faith. Once it became clear through the legal process that the shed was not included on the title, this information was communicated, to secure the property with £10,000 off the asking price. Given the later clarification around the shed, it would not be reasonable to expect that a further negotiation of another £10,000 off in order for you to proceed with the purchase of the flat. That offer was not acceptable to the vendor.
Unfortunately, we are not in a position to reimburse third - party costs such as solicitor fees, nor can we unilaterally alter what is legally included in property - these matters are determined through due diligence and conveyancing, which is precisely why this process exists.
We genuinely do understand both perspectives here, the vendors representations and the buyers frustrations when expectations change during the legal process. Whilst we appreciate this is not the outcome you hoped for, we reject the suggestion that there was any intent to mislead or act without ethics.
Whilst you mentioned our negative reviews, we believe its important to provide balance - we currently hold a 4.8/5 rating, which suggests this experience is not representative of how we usually operate.

GoogleNot impressed by their discrimantory adverts stating no dss or benefit of any kind even disability....to be told its the lenders who wont allow people on dss or benefit. Most lenders dropped that and are no longer allowed to enforce that rule due to dicrimination and would not hold up. Applying a higher bar, such as demanding a guarantor only for those on benefits when the income amount is the same, constitutes discrimination which is unlawful. And no dss adverts are also discrimination.
