Unprofessional business, please be careful and do your own research. This company fails on completing simple due diligence on properties. Advertises incorrect property information on search platforms such as Rightmove. The partner, Richard, then has no shame but to accuse the customer of too many phone calls when trying to resolve and understand the misinformation he and his team have published. From top to bottom this company is full of numpties. So wish homeowners would use alternate agents for the area so we do not have to deal with this incompetence when making stressful and life changing decisions like buying a house. Not sure if they are any better on rental side as not experienced them for this. Good luck.

From the initial valuation (which was based around an open and honest assessment of what was achievable in the market), through to honest and frank feedback on viewings and the super communication and diligence of the sale expeditor, the whole process has been amazingly smooth. As a long established and local agent, their knowledge of the local market and their relationships with local law firms is first class, greatly helping with the management of the chain below us. Key to the success is their fantastic communication, with calls and messages answered very quickly, and their total empathy for the stresses and strains that we naturally feel in trying to complete such a significant transaction. Above all, all of our dealings have been handled in a totally professional manner but with warmth and good humour throughout. GoogleWhat a gem of an estate agent. Being involved in a very complicated and drawn out purchase of a listed building, the sale would never have seen the light of day had it not been the help and amenability of the staff, namely Richard. He liaised constantly with me (even when my solicitor was not returning calls or passing on messages); fielding calls when out of the office and on holiday; making suggestions about how to get over impasses; going above and beyond. This is a trait that is a luxury and not a commodity these days. We finally completed after 10 months and I could not be happier. If there was scope to mark them higher, I would do! A template of what good customer service and relations should look like

GoogleVery disappointed. Viewed a property and was advised to call in and “express an interest”, so I could be kept in touch with developments. Property now sold subject to contract but they never contacted me, apart from emailing every property that came on their books in spite of me asking them not to! I believe they have achieved a lower price for the vendor than I would have paid. Stay well clear!
Dear Mr Smith I too am very disappointed to read your review in respect of this matter. I have discussed this at length with my colleagues and my understanding of the situation is that when you initially viewed this property, even though you were clearly interested, you hadn't sold your own property so you were accordingly not in a position to proceed with the purchase. In the meantime another party who was in a position to proceed, made an offer and this offer was accepted, subject to contract, and a sale was subsequently agreed. I am sorry that we didn't advise you that we had agreed a sale to another party, although we did urge you at the time to contact us when you had agreed a sale on your own property. If the property had of been available at this point, we could have discussed potentially agreeing a sale to you, subject to you making an acceptable offer to our vendor client. I was also advised this morning that you had spoken to my colleague earlier this week with regards to us canvassing the area for other properties in this development, which we are planning to do. As far as sending you other property details, we always register new applicants and send the details of new properties as they come to the market, we do this to try and help our customers, I am sorry if this has caused you a problem, I will ensure that you do not receive any more properties through our mailing system. Finally Mr Smith, I am satisfied that we have fully complied with our obligations under the terms of the Estate Agency Act and with the instructions of our vendor client whom we are ultimately acting for. They carried out all viewings at a time to suit me and liaised with my buyers after the property was sold. I felt that I was kept informed throughout the whole process. Over the years I've sold two properties through them and recommended them to several neighbours who were also delighted. Things rarely go completely smoothly in any property transaction! What you need is Richard who is highly knowledgeable, pro-active and continually keeps his eye on the ball. Cerys makes a wonderful colleague; calm, friendly, supportive and organised. Highly recommended.
