Wonderful experience

I had an excellent experience selling my property through sellmyhome.co.uk with Harry and Robbie. I found the whole process very smooth and there was always someone on hand to respond to my questions. Robbie ran things day to day and provided a very personal experience, being extremely proactive with updates as well as chasing the other parties in the transaction.The savings I realised of over £9000 on a modest property whilst having a very responsive team helping me means I would recommend sellmyhome.co.uk to anyone needing an agent to sell their property. I thought there may be a compromise on service given that size of a saving but I was delighted that wasn't the case. The one aspect they don't do when compared to the traditional model is viewings and I really enjoyed showing prospective buyers around my home, passing on information on the property and local area. We received 2 offers from 3 viewings and within 2 weeks of the property being in the market so the qualification for the viewers is excellent, meaning that you don't waste your time with neighbours popping round for a viewing. I can't see how the traditional model can be sustained when there is a sellmyhome.co.uk alternative. Thank you to the to Robbie, Harry and the rest of team for a very stressless experience.

Simple efficient cost effective no brainer choice to sell your home

We found the whole process very straight forward. The feedback on any query was quick and seemed never too much trouble. You have a simple choice pay a high commission to an estate agent to put it on Rightmove etc or pay Sellmyhome to put it on Righmove for a fixed low fee. It really is a no brainer. We introduced our buyers to Sellmyhome and they sold within two weeks. You can not really go wrong. We would highly recommend without hesitation.

Excellent service throughout

My situation was just to sell my house as fast as possible and Tom at SellMyHome did just that. I purchased the sale package only without any conveyancing included (so all marketing by sellmyhome and viewings done by the seller)I had viewings coming out of my ear by the second day of it being on the market after a very professional camera team took some amazing photos of my property.My house was sold 3 weeks in to the process.Be warned though SellMyHome sell your house so fast that the wait for the solicitors after to do all the paperwork seems like a lifetime.Cannot fault the service or Tom in anyway. A magnanimous performance that made the transition of buying our dream home hassle free. Nick provided an exceptional service and helped us get the best value out of our property and even helped negotiate the purchase price to help with the sale. A brilliant and effective way of selling your home

Best way to sell your home! Without doubt!!!

I was unsure about how and who with to sell my home. I heard of online advertising which is much cheaper than the high St estate agents. Well I am so happy I did go down the online route. Will explained every package available, I decided on one, I didn't even hsve a for sale sign, within a few hours of my details being online I had lots of interest, in fact I had sold my property within the week with two buyers wanting it, sell my home wer fantastic, an easy to use website, also efficient photos and floor plans done within 2 days and on line ready for buyers to see. All I can say is why pay high street prices when you can get a just as good service for much less cost. It worked for me all I can say is it's the new way to sell your home.

It is when things go wrong you really test customer service

I can fully recommend the team at sellmyhome. While it makes complete sense to save money this way, you also need it to work. If you are going to do the viewings yourself or have people to do that then this is really the way to go. The sellmyhome team had some trouble initially with photographers in Scotland (where the house was I sold with them) and they were the first to say the shots were not good enough. The got another two photographers round (at no cost to me) and we ended up with a really good quality set for the marketing. The team are very responsive and well after you have paid your fee, they continue to be proactive and really do care about the result. This makes sense as the more they sell the more people will realise it works. I also like the way you are in control if you want to be so you can adjust price/advert etc etc whenever you want on the site and this pushes through to rightmove and zoopla. At the end of the day everyone buying a house are looking on those sites even in Edinburgh with their solicitors portal. We sold for asking price in less than a month. Highly recommended. Ewan

Excellent Service

Although initially I was a little hesitant before deciding to go with Sellmy home I soon discovered that any fears were unfounded. The entire process has been relatively stress free (selling your home is always going to result in some stress!). Sarah E. was brilliant and was always readily available to deal with any queries I had, The service, not least the customer care was excellent. Within days of signing up, floor plans, energy certificate and photographs had all been completed efficiently. The entire team was great but the photographer was particularly skilled and I was delighted with the final pictures for the brochure and the website. The virtual tour was a great idea and just what a prospective buyer needs. The website was easy to navigate and I liked the degree of control it gave me in organising viewings. Within a few days I had an offer and can't believe just how positive the whole experience has been. Would definitely recommend SMH to anyone thinking of selling their home. The fact that you also save a great deal of money means that this has to be the way to sell your property.

I used them to sell my Mum's house and they were great from start to finish

I found the whole process of completing the documentation, writing the specification of the property and liaising with Sellmyhome over taking the photos and the EPC remarkably easy. The quality of the photos was great and the "soft" voiceover artist describing the property was a great addition. I had a couple of questions over the terms and conditions of sale but the partners were easily contactable and the questions were resolved very easily. The process of booking and responding to viewing queries was also great and I particularly liked the "hit" counter which gave confidence that the property was getting viewed on line. Overall, I would highly recommend them.

Saved a lot of money!

We decided to use Sellmyhome as we had a lovely little flat in a great location, so knew it wasnt going to be difficult sell as long as we didn't overprice it (which estate agents were trying to get us to do). Doing the viewings ourselves proved to be a huge advantage - we were able to answer questions estate agents arent able to and give a local viewpoint. Excellent service especially with a big discount as my partner and I were selling 3 houses at the same time. Using a high street agent At 1.5%+vat= £1000's in return for: a high street agent calling you to let you hear what you want to hear and not acting in your favor but to theirs (personal opinion) They have no incentive to push for the best price as the hard work involved means that extra £10-£100 extra commission on a £5k extra offer on your property is not worth it!! And in the end you have to accept what you get with them... I was very skeptical to go with an online agent to start, yet alone choose one of the many who started appearing on the net. So I went with the review on the metro newspaper that gave me some encouragement and few google searches later I was content with the quality I am offered with sellmyhome. I also factored in the risk vs rewards of going with an online agent it.. I looked at the packages on sellmyhome.co.uk vs the many other online packages from other sites that was comparable but went with my gut instinct with sellmyhome.co.uk then choose the premium package that came just over £750 only!!!!!upfront!!(that was the scary part) within days a photographer came to take pics & floor plan and within hours of her leaving the ad went live on the top portals!!! (Exactly what a high street agent would have done). A few hours later requests for viewings came in! At my leisure I was negotiating and rearranging viewing times via email and opted for an open house a week after the ad went live. Throughout This time we were in constant contact with the team at sellmyhome who assured us and answered all our questions!!They even sent us a bunch of fresh flowers (we didn't even know that was part of their services!!). With a list of viewers to hand open day came and my wife and I enjoyed taking our guests around our house and answering their questions based on personal knowledge NOT the template answer you get from agents-it was strange to start but by the 2nd and 3rd couple you get the hang of it. Getting to interact with the guests was a lovely experience for both: us and the buyers a like! So making a choice was that much nicer when accepting the offer. When the offers came in, choosing the offer was straight forward as the potential buyer would (through their account on the site) place their offer and state their financial situation. When one of the offers was slightly lower then the figure I was after, I spoke to the team at sellmyhome, and they happily contacted the buyers with regards to the offers and any advances on that. (I thought its a long shot considering that sellmyhome team will not get any extra whatever the price is) When we formally accepted an offer we had the memo of sale produced instantly (as quick as it took for both parties to fill in their relevant details and the PDF was accessible and ready to download whenever and wherever) Thinking that was the end of the services - Henry from sellmyhome was following up on the updates and maintaing the chain with all the relevant parties!! We have now completed. We saved £6,626 (compared to two high street agents quoted us) that is like 3month wages!!!! I have no regret and whole heartily recommend sellmyhome to any one who wants to save thousands (who wouldn't) and has people skills! If you hate talking to people still go with sellmyhome and pick up some people's skill the saving is worth it!! You will not go wrong with them. I for sure will be looking them up on my next sale... Simple, reliable and great service

We thought we would try it as the agent fees are so high when you consider that you actually do most of the selling when people view our home. Pleasurable experience !!!

I decided to use an on-line estate agent after reading reviews in the broadsheets. The whole experience has been pleasurable. All the benefits but without the Estate Agent

This is a great way to sell your home. You get all the marketing of Right Move and Prime Location without paying an Estate Agent to simply open the front door! We listed our flat and got interest immediately through sell my home. It is simple and easy to enlist and allows you to have control of the process. The feedback from our buyer was also very positive as we both found being able to meet and talk face to face was much more straight forward and comfortable than talking via estate agents. The new way to sell your home

I just sold my home via sellmyhome.co.uk and it was the best decision I made. I was being hounded by estate agents to list with them but decided that if they were so desperate for me to do this that I must be able to sell the home without their services as the market was so buoyant, and I was right but only thanks to this website. It was easy to use, got a far more personalised service and I saved a load of money. Would highly recommend it.
