Excellent From Start To Finish

I chose to use Sellmyhome after daring to break from the high street norm. On reading reviews of the various online agents Sellmyhome seemed to offer the best overall package.I certainly wasn't disappointed. The service was superb from start to finish, the photographer and photographs excellent. I chose to carry out my own viewings and complete my own chain management however there was no hard sell to push otherwise, just the reassurance the service was there if required.My property sold extremely quickly and overall I couldn't have been more pleased. I would not hesitate to use Sellmyhome again.

After using a High St estate agent and …

After using a High St estate agent and the unsatisfactory patronising attitude shown to us I decided to research online Estate Agents. I didnt go to the first one advertised on t.v but looked who had the best customer service, success rates selling, marketing and post selling service. That company was Sell my home .com. They have been helpful, friendly, reassuring and thorough from the start to completion. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a professional but expertly run service! Jo Cairns

Excellent service all round!

We chose sellmyhome after feeling let down and misguided by a high street estate agent. Straight away sellmyhome were honest, professional and put our minds at ease. Having been on the market with the previous estate agents for 3 months, sellmyhome sold our property within 3 weeks. The agents we spoke to were always available, and were very patient when I was getting anxious and stressed. They led us through the whole process and we couldn't have asked for a better service. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to sell their property as not only are they polite, friendly and efficient at their job but they also saved us huge amounts of money!

Excellent Company

My brother and I have used Sell my home recently to sell my late father's house. I was a bit sceptical using an online agency as I have always used a traditional estate agents in the past. I can honestly say it was excellent and a fraction of the cost of a high street estate agent. The Web site is easy to use Photos of the property were clear and viewings were simple and quick to fix up without having to wait for an estate agent to ring us.we were able to read all the feedback from the viewers. My brother managed the offers which came in but I believe Sellmyhouse would have done this for a small fee. The support Sellmyhouse provided was very good. For us there were no negatives. You have to conduct the viewings yourself which I preferred but I suppose some people may not be happy with that. If you've got a property to sell, I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Sellmyhouse.

Why would you go anywhere else?!

I had an amazing experience with Sellmyhome. Not only did it save me £15,000 on commission which any other estate agent would have charged, I was very pleased that my contacts, Tom Hardcastle and Robbie Hughes, were so good in responding to my queries and handling the estate agent on the other side of the transaction. My property went on all the sites that I would want it to (Zoopla and Rightmove) as well as offering a walk around tour as part of the service. I'm sure there was a little bit of luck but having 3 offers in 2 weeks and the transaction completed in just over a month was a dream for us.

Normally I really don't like estate …

Normally I really don't like estate agents for a number of reasons which I wont go into. However these guys are using a better model (1 simple fee) and were so easy and 'normal' to talk to, no hard sell, once you're in they care about you all the way to the end and beyond. It turned into an actual pleasure to chat to them, even when the going was tough.I can't recommend them enough and will use again if I ever need to.Thank you!

tried to make amends

They tried to make amends because of my bad experience I had with them but were insisting that some of the points I raised were untrue. Lots of phone calls and emails from them after I left my first review which is more than I ever got when I asked for information about how much interest my property was having or needed some terms and conditions clarifying and they checked my social media I have felt a bit harassed over these last few days to be honest. I have been asked to amend my review for them because they have said sorry and waived the £350 withdrawal fee, although Will Clark did say that my package didn't have a withdrawal fee on one of the many answerphone messages he left. I leave it up to you good people to make up your own minds, I'm remaining impartial...

Super impressed with the friendly and helpful team at Sell My Home. Booking viewings was so easy with the online portal and we enjoyed showing our home to potential buyers ourselves, but it was always reassuring to know the experts at SMH were just a phone call away if we needed anything. They managed the negotiations on our behalf and we were very happy with the price achieved and even happier not to be paying a high street estate agents commission!! Very good value for money service from…

Very good value for money service from Sellmyhome. A professional photographer called and ensured that our home was presented and photographed in the best possible light for the advertising phase.The viewing booking system worked efficiently and we were sent texts confirmation about the viewers which was great. We saved money by showing round potential buyers ourselves.We sold at our asking price within about six weeks and had to cancel booked viewings. We chose to sell our flat with sellmyhome and we were extremely impressed and pleased with the whole process. First of all the staff are all very helpful and knowledgeable, the online site is user friendly, and the concept is genius. We were slightly concerned to begin with that we would not get any viewings as our flat was located on a busy main road, however within a couple of hours of posting our ad we had several viewings lined up. It was so helpful being able to liaise directly with the buyers and the system was so easy to use. Within a week we had two offers! The process was then managed expertly by the team and we accepted an offer for asking price. The team at sellmyhome then proceeded to keep in touch with the buyers to make sure things ran smoothly until exchange/completion.I would not hesitate to use sellmyhome again and would highly recommend them to anyone else. The best Online Estate agents

I had previously been skeptical regarding online estate agents. After failing to sell via the high street estate agents i turned my attention to SellMyHome. As a skeptic I called them and spoke to a really genuine nice man by the name of Tom Crosswaithe who was reassuring and very reasonable. I took up the offer and signed up but as a skeptic i decided to pay after sale thinking that my house may not sell. Well well well.... I had over 15 viewings within the first four days. I had numerous offers. I had agreed the sale, and cancelled the remaining interest and potential bookings which were in the region of another 25 bookings. The negotiations were easy and Tom remained in touch the entire time with his expert advice. I spoke to most of the team throughout the time it took to complete the sale and I had developed a strong relationship with the team. I can only say that I have been very happy with the entire processes and services. I have recommended my family members to follow suit and I can say that their experience has been very much the same. CANT PRAISE YOU GUYS ENOUGH!!

After having all the local high street estate agents around, then Purple Bricks we still couldn't decide who to go with. Then we called SELLMYHOME and spoke to TOM - all our questions answered - all our worries and concerns dealt with - and best of all the fixed £595 fee to sell. So we went on the market with SELLMYHOME and it was the best decision ever. You guys are awesome. The photographer (who was fantastic by the way) turned up as agreed the next day. We were online within hours on Rightmove and Zoopla and had our first viewing within 24 hours. After just 1 and a half weeks we had an offer. Today we exchanged and will complete very soon. You saved me an absolute fortune. But best of all was your amazing customer care and genuine nice touches - like the bouquet of flowers you sent us - we were very touched by the personal care shown. Charlie - the guy who was dealing with our sale was awesome - the best. Selling online was much more straightforward than I imagined and I saved a packet! The Team were very helpful taking me through the various aspects for selling my home online and were always on hand to answer any concerns - I had a few as I had lived in the same house for nearly 30 years!The hints and tips they provided were really helpful - so showing viewers myself was not at all daunting, in fact it was fun.I got to choose my viewing times to fit around my work - a big advantage over a regular estate agent that may not work Sundays or be able to fit in viewings when their diary gets double booked). So happy with the offer I got, now we have completed, I couldnt be happier.

Service far and away above a high street agent at a fraction of the price

We were really pleased with the service we received principally from Harry but also the rest of the team at SellMyHome. They were always straightforward, no BS, easy to reach and followed things up promptly. They don't oversell. Although we didn't meet them we found them to be very much a full service operation. We were also very happy with doing our own viewings and all the feedback we got from buyers was that they preferred it as well. Even a really good high street agent couldn't have presented our property as well as we could have done ourselves.I always feel that you can tell the quality of a business by how they deal with mistakes, and while we did have one annoying mistake during the process of selling our home, I was really pleased by the way that the team listened, investigated and worked things out with us.In the end we achieved over 99% of our asking price using SellMyHome. Our next door neighbours in our terrace had essentially the same house as us but with an extension so theirs should have been even more saleable than ours. They went with a high street agent around the same time as us, failed to find a buyer at all, and eventually had to let their house rather than sell. Considering the fees charged by SellMyHome are a fraction of that charged by most agents, and the results are superior, I don't see why everyone doesn't use them!

Communication was was second to none, regular phone calls and updates and was very polite and professional. Not a good experience at the time, but management went out of way to try to put things right.

My experience of selling my property with the company was not good due to having a poor account manager and basically paying out for zero service. This person has since "left" the company and the director of operations has made a real effort to discuss the issues and to find a good solution to the problems. I think the company believe in their brand and are keen to ensure that customers are treated well and issues resolved.

Fantastic way to sell our flat

We were unsure whether to go with a traditional estate agent or Sell My Home. The latter seemed like a great option but it was a little bit of the fear of the unknown. We decided to go for it. I'm delighted that we did. Communication from Sell My Home to us, the prospective buyers and our solicitor has been exceptional. It wasn't always a straightforward sale but they've been a great conduit between all parties and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others or use them again ourselves. I suspect this type of selling is the future and Sell My Home ought to be right at the forefront of the industry.

We entrsuted sell my home with the sale of our flat, and it was the best decision we could have ever made! You get better service than a high street estate agent, yet are saving yourself 10's of thousands of pounds. The whole team at sell my home have been absolutely on point throughout the whole process, I cannot fault them. It really does beg the question of how long high street estate agents can last? Why would you give away thousands of pounds from your sale, when you can use someone like sell my home, receive better service and pay a fraction of the costs in estate agent fees? It really is an absolute no brainer, and we need to encourage more people to be using businesses like SMH in the future and saving all of us lots of money! Can’t overemphasise how impressed we are with SellMyHome

We completed on the Sale of our flat within 2 months of it putting it for sale with SellMyHome. Throughout the whole process, Tom, Will and the rest of the team, delivered us outstanding service, whilst also saving us about £10k in estate agency fees. We initially met with 5 well-known agents, supposed “local experts”, who produced an mystifyingly large range of valuations. We were hugely unimpressed and neither of us could see how they could possibly justify their fees of 1.5% to 2.5% in an age when people rely on portals like Rightmove. The SellMyHome team steered us to a realistic guide price and organised for fantastic photographs to be taken. As soon as we went live, requests for viewings came flooding in and within a couple of days we had our first offer. I did the viewings myself and I would strongly recommend it, as no one else knows your home as well as you do. (On our hunt for a new house, I lost track of the number of times that an agent answered a question with “I’m not exactly sure but I’ll come back to you on that”… and then never did). Through skill and tenacity, Tom managed to get the original offer increased twice until it finally reached a level that we were happy to accept, only a week after it had gone on the market. Moving from there to “Exchanged” is a very nerve-wracking period but regardless of whatever issue arose (and there were many), Tom calmly kept everything on track. On the flipside, the house we bought was sold by a High St agent and the service we received as buyers was fine, but was it worth paying 1.5% for? Absolutely, categorically, 100% no!!! The traditional estate agency model is hopelessly out of date and is in dire need of a shake-up. SellMyHome are the company to do that and I would recommend them to everyone.

Amazing and personal 5 star service. Can't fault them.

This is the first time we have ever used on online service to sell a place and we were amazed at how stress free and smooth the whole experience was. From organizing a great photographer to come around, to helping organise viewings and negotiating on our behalf with sellers Tom, from Sellmyhome really provided a personal service, which is amazing considering the low cost. He helped us to secure 35 viewings on a single day which lead to 6 offers. We finally accepted for an amazing 10% above asking price within 5 days! Showing people around ourselves definitely helped achieve this, but it wouldn't have been possible if it wasn't for the effort of Tom and the Sellmyhome team. Highly recommended and we will definitely be using them again in the future.
