Horrendous. Avoid at all costs. Not just incompetent but they are happy to let you live in below standard living conditions. Our bathroom has been covered in mould for the past 4 months due to the fact that the bathroom lacks a proper extractor. The house is cold and covered in damp and the estate agents continue to not do anything about it. Avoid at all costs.

Barkers have been wonderful. My flat sale completed last week and I feel that Barkers (Jessica in particular) have been there every step of the way to help the process go as smoothly as possible. Every untrustworthy company. And unprofessional.They put bills on my name without my knowledge.The bills were included in the rent. And they are not willing to sort out. Every rude managers as they call them self. Stay way from this money grabbing company

Humphries cost us about £18000.00

Humphries cost us about £18000.00. They did not carry out there contractual duties to inspect properties or make entry and exit inventories although they claimed that they had. They then, without informing us ,allowed tenants to leave so as to avoid the tenant complaining to the council or going to court.

Excellent service! Most agencies don't care about the tenants these guys do! They always resolve my problems if I have any and are not as bad as some of the reviews make out. I've not experienced anything negative so far, quite the opposite! Far better than some of the other local agents who couldn't care less! 5 Stars to the team!

Stay away from this agency.lack of communication tried getting over 750 pounds off me.when I provided evidence with their lack of communication.They tried blaming me for everything even though I had full evidence if their wrong doing.they only gave up with I choose to take legal actions

I have rented with Barkers and found them to be excellent. The man who deals with me is very helpful, when I had a leaking washing machine a plumber came the same day and it was replaced within 24 hours when he couldn't repair it. Their fees were much cheaper than most other agents as well. Highly recommended !!

Still not had holding deposits back…

Still not had holding deposits back after 9 days of not being successful on getting a property. Have rang up 4 times and each time there was a difference excuse! How many peoples deposits do they actually keep as some people may forget about it!

The most appallingly mannered staff at Barkers Queens Road both in person and on the phone, brusque, ill-mannered and completely unprofessional. DO NOT approach that branch about either a letting or a purchase. There are plenty of estate agents who are professional and easy to approach. Landlords and potential home buyers avoid this estate agent.

I am absolutely appalled at the way barkers treat there customers. They are not willing to help. They will infact make blatant lies directly to you and do not even attempt to resolve any problems. If I could give a rating of no stars I definitely would. I strongly recommend finding a different estate agents.

I have had such bad luck with my maintenance issues however the staff at barkers have really helped me out by sending out contractors on the same day that i report the issue. with having a small child in the house they have really gone above and beyond to help me. Thankyou Barkers!
