House comes on the market Saturday morning I called to arrange a viewing couple of hours later but understandable half day working hours so I leave a voice message along with a separate email message requesting a viewing. Come Monday lunchtime no response at all so call up for an update only to be told sorry no more viewings and vendor will decide to accept an offer the following morning! Was there any point in advertising or was it a case of friends first…..Andrew granger please go back to your roots and remember what ethos you founded the business on. Very disappointed with the lack of service to be honest.

Dear Mr Makadam,
We’re sorry that you felt the need to leave us a review of this nature, and we are extremely disappointed in your 1* star rating.
Our offices are open on a Saturday between 09.00am and 12.30pm. The property that you wished to view came onto the market the day before, on Friday 21st February, and on the Saturday morning our office was simply inundated with viewing requests for the property in question. We have reviewed our messaging service and can see that you left a message after our offices closed at 12.50pm. On the Saturday morning, before your call to the office, we had arranged over 20 viewings which took place across the weekend. With such high levels of interest in the property our client took the decision to not continue booking further viewings after receiving multiple offers well in excess of the guide price. We had warned many of the interested parties that we spoke to on Saturday morning that they may not get an opportunity to view the property, due to the unprecedented amount of interest.
With the nature of property sales there is almost certainly, unfortunately, always going to be disappointed parties, particularly in the current market where there are not enough properties on the market to fulfil the current demand.
We are a small independent business and our Google reviews and client satisfaction is very important to us. We do hope that those reading our reviews take the time to see our response to your 1* star rating and review and understand the situation in relation to your rating.

Ten years ago I bought and sold with them and they were fantastic, and so I chose to sell with them again this time. I am so glad that I made that choice. They have been again, utterly professional, knowledgeable, competent, punctual, and treated me with kindness and respect.
Sadly I have experienced other estate agents who have been rude, patronising and/or not very knowledgeable, and working with them has been a stressful experience. Andrew Granger have demonstrated that all estate agents are not the same. They are a beacon of good practice. I also have to thank their fantastic, talented photographer who captured the beauty of my home. If I move again it will be Andrew Granger I phone to help me.
