Instant replies to email/phonecalls.When the exchange of contracts looked to be stalling, Amy swiftly contacted the 3 conveyancing solicitors and got our exchange finalised. Manning Stainton manage our property very well. They do an annual check of the property & send a detailed copy of the findings. They also keep us informed about any new checks required and make sure the legally required checks are carried out. Our contact there lets us know straight away if anything needs doing immediately.

We were introduced to our negotiator Charlotte who very quickly and efficiently organised viewings with potential buyers whilst mindful of our tenants needs. Once a buyer had made an offer we accepted Charlotte engaged both solicitors and renting manager for a smooth exchange and completed sale.

We used Manning to sell a property and were originally impressed with the offer. However from signing up with them things seemed to get worse. We were passed between a number of different workers. Whenever we called to speak to anyone or for an update, we were told we would get a call back but this was often an email response. We ended up chasing our solicitor for most things as we at least then got a direct response and action. From the minute we signed up I explained we were making the payment to them separately (i.e. not from the sale of my house) and asked that we be billed so. Today, I found out that we had in fact paid twice. They billed my solicitor and then when I called them directly to ask for an invoice, they sent me it with different ways to pay. We paid (not knowing this had already been done) and then I wasn't allowed to have my payment back to my account, instead it had to go back to my partner for him to return the money to me. All the while, they blamed my solicitor. Doesn't matter that nobody actually checked when I rang up to request the invoice. Shocking service from what promised to be a great team. I'm not planning of moving again anytime soon but would definitely look at alternative companies and won't be recommending.

From start to finish, we couldn't be happier with Manning Stainton. Our initial valuation was with Ben, who was incredibly professional and gave us all the information we needed. His valuation was spot on, and within two weeks of going to market we had offers at and around asking price.On acceptance of an offer, our move managers, Gemma and Rochelle couldn't have done more. They managed both our sale and our ongoing purchase, and were in excellent in chasing up various solicitors and gave us weekly updates as to the progress of the chain. They certainly worked very hard and were worth every penny. Apologies to them for any aneurysms our chain gave them!Certainly would use them again. Roundly excellent.
