The service excellence, effort, intelligence, empathy and integrity which Katie Allan, who works out of Linley and Simpson's Bingley office, gave to us was extraordinary. We have spoken to the seller of the property we bought. Both parties (us as the buyers) were greatly helped by Katie's willingness to put in extra time and effort to ensure the sale of the property was finalised. Sold my property through Linley and Simpson Bingley office. From start to finish agent Ellie Dunning was amazing! She couldn’t have done more for us if she tried, with the sale. Within 30 minutes of our ad going live we had viewings arranged. We had offers within 48 hours. Brilliant service from all in the office, especially Ellie. She even helped out when there were delays with our onward purchase. Can’t find any fault and would highly recommend. I have recently sold 2 properties through the Headingley branch and both attracted considerable interest.Paige (Ellis) helped enormously with the negotiation process to select the best-placed buyers for both houses and was most diligent in following up with the solicitors to keep me up to date with progress of the sales. Each sale had its own challenges but this were gradually overcome to produce satisfactory outcomes. Easy & Smooth letting process with Jade

We had a great experience with Jade. She called the day before our viewing slot to ask more about what we wanted and only showed us properties that matched our criteria. It was great to see 3 properties in the space of the hour and we ended up applying for one the same day, and having confirmation of the let being agreed. Jade was very personable and is clearly very competent at her job! The wider team were also excellent with quick correspondence regarding our application. Brilliant help from Chelsea and Ellie

I had an initial viewing with Chelsea on a Friday afternoon. I was her last viewing of the day, but she spent extra time with me after showing me the flat to answer questions about Leeds. I’m moving to the city, and she was very patient with my questions and gave lots of great advice. I didn’t end up getting that flat, but Chelsea was great in organising a viewing for another suitable flat. The second viewing was with Ellie, who was equally as helpful. She was very responsive by email (after the viewing) and chased up the landlord to give me a prompt answer about my application. Can’t recommend Chelsea and Ellie enough!

We rented with Linley and Simpson Wakefield branch for 2 years. The property was lovely and we enjoyed our time there immensely. Any communication either with the local branch or the central maintenance team was amazing and all issues (which there were few!) were dealt with promptly. When it came to making the difficult decision to move out, Wendy and Ebony were proactive with organising viewings and communicated everything. The deductions from our deposit on moving out were really fair and I thought they would be a lot more! Thanks to everyone in the Wakefield branch.

Smart but unprofessional

Sam Preistly was dressed smartly and greeted us when we arrived. Unfortunately our viewing was interrupted when another couple knocked at the front door and he allowed the couple to come look at the same time. I found this to be unprofessional, we couldn’t get a grasp of any background noise from neighbours or traffic as all you could hear was the other couple talking. We didn’t get shown what was what upstairs as he was with the other couple the majority of the time. So took it up on ourselves to just go for a look on our own before leaving.He gave us great tips on how to apply for the property and was polite

Harry Russell, absolute superstar!

Working with Harry to secure a property at very short notice has been an absolutely professional experience. Harry was acutely aware of our challenges when trying to source a property to rent in York. Living 200 miles away from York does not lend itself to impromptu viewings. Harry did his utmost to secure a viewing the next day, and ensure that our application stood the greatest chance of success. We were also well supported by Helen when Harry was unavailable. All in all the team at Linley & Simpson were brilliant and I can't recommend them highly enough!
