TrustpilotGreat service.
Great service.I sold and purchased properties through Hunters and they were really good.Other reviews have mentioned the 20 week tie in which is a downside if you are wanting flexibility (and this is why I've given 4 stars, but this is a corporate decision which the staff can't change). In terms of the staff at the Pudsey branch, they were really helpful. Particularly Kirsty who responded quickly and was really knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Despite a large workload she remembered personal details which helped build up a good customer relationship. The only other downside is that I do believe there isn't enough staff to cope with the workload. Despite Kirsty always responding to our queries quickly I did get the impression from others who I spoke with that they were incredibly busy. I do hope Hunters as an organisation address this.Overall though they were really great and I'd use them again. We did have to do some chasing, but I would expect this as they aren't a personal service to us, and they were always really quick to get back to us and always knew the answers. Kirsty also worked really hard to get the house sale and purchase turned around really quickly and I'm very grateful for all her hard work in doing that.

TrustpilotHunters Kendal
Hunters. Kendal.Have no problem recommending this branch. Unfortunately lockdown got in the way. Launch was on Wednesdsy and lockdown Friday which restricted viewing. Kept me well informed as to who was viewing. When I did get a sale dealt with the buyer in no uncertain terms as he was trying to find lots of faults to drive down the price. He didn't succeed! Suzanne Jackson valued my property and was informative and good to deal with as were the rest of the staff in the office dealing with Kendal.

TrustpilotHighly Recommend - Hunters Lee
I bought my first property and sold it with the support from Hunters Lee. I am really pleased with my choice. Vikram, Sarah and Serhan are amazing - they are very supportive, understanding, calm and super well-organised. They went above and beyond to support me whenever I need. They made the process really smooth and stress free for me with their years of experience, long term vision and excellent communication skills. I highly recommend this team and will definitely work with them again in the future if I have a chance to. Thank you so much all!

TrustpilotNorth Somerset’s Best.
I’d just like to thank all the staff at Hunters in North Somerset, Yatton, Portishead and Nailsea offices. They have sold 2 Of our private houses for us in the past 3 Years, and one of our rental properties before that. All Were sold in a matter of days. Of the 2 recent sales the 1st one went through smoothly in 2 months. The second was not quite so good through no fault of Hunters I might add.2nd property sold the 1st day on the market but turned out the lady was telling porkies about her funding so she disappeared after 2 weeks🤬Another Confirmed buyer Within the same week and except for the obvious Covid delays, mainly being unable to sort removals, this time everything went as planned. Many thanks to Richard, Mandy and James for their excellent Professional service and I would strongly recommend Hunters to anyone thinking of selling in the North Somerset area. They know the market in this area so well and really go the extra mile for their clients.

Hunters, Carlisle Branch. We feel the agent did not convey our offer correctly to the vendor, telling them we had met their price without including the proviso that we had made that our increased offer was to include contents and furnishings to the value of £5,000. Therefore the vendors thought we had met their price while we thought we had negotiated some furnishings for the property. This we feel was dishonest and caused embarrasment and problems when finalising the sale through the solicitors.

TrustpilotSo unprofessional
So unprofessional. Middlesbrough- Teesside Lettings branch cancelled my viewings on the same day just an hour before the appointment with a lame reason of not confirming it via an email when the appointments are usually confirmed by phones. Also no necessary information about the property was given a week ago while I booked the appointments but today after them sending me appointment cancellation emails. I had cancelled my plans for today as I had 2 appointments with them. Staff has no manners to talk to a client, the way of sending emails is so casual and informal. They offered me appointment for the next day when I specifically requested for an appointment for today itself a week ago. I just told them I don’t want to go ahead with such unprofessional company. Management needs some training so do the staff in dealing with the clients.

GoogleWorst experience of my life… avoid like the plague.
I’ve never actually written a review before good or bad however my experience with Hunters in the last few days has been horrible.
I had an offer accepted in writing on my dream home, after submitting all the documents required and confirming with Hunters every thing was in order I proceeded to submit my mortgage application and appoint a legal team.
Imagine my absolute horror a few days later when I receive a call from Hunters stating there was actually another offer and the seller has opted to remove my offer acceptance and go with the other offer instead.
Upon lodging an official complaint as to the handling of this I received a call from the Director of Hunters who confirmed that the other offer was indeed received on the same day my offer was made but only logged on there system a few days later. At no point did Hunters let me know there had been a counter offer on the house at no point did they advise me that my offer acceptance was in doubt at all. All the while I’m sat at home blissfully appointing lawyers and submitting mortgage applications and showing my daughter her new house.
Really poor communication and epic mis management which has caused me and my family significant emotional distress.

Jamie we are sorry to see your negative review.
Hunters are regulated by law to pass every offer we receive to the Seller.
Section 9: of the Property Ombudsman code of practice states:
“By Law, you must tell sellers about all offers that you receive at any time until contracts for the sale have been exchanged, within 2 working days of receipt”
In this case, another offer was received, and it was passed to the seller, who then, after the offer was financially qualified gave us instructions to accept it in favour of yours, unfortunately this instruction meant that you did not secure the property. We do understand your frustration with this process and the distress this has caused.

GoogleI can not recommend Hunters, highly enough. Lavinia, was our sale manager her confidence & knowledge of the market & the local area was 2nd to none.
She organised viewings even before the house was on their site, within an hour or 2 of leaving our house she had 11 bookings to view our property, which she said she would be able do.
We needed a quick sale, Livinia said she'd have it sold within the week, it actually took less than 1 day & we got the full asking price, which she also told us we'd get. All her advice & her predictions were 100% spot on.
I'm sorry I didn't get the names of the other members staff at Hunters as everyone I spoke to was superb. Lavinia, explained why she worked for Hunters & what a great estate agent they were, she stressed what a great team she worked with & that was very evident.
In summary Hunters were ultra professional & clearly a team that are very proud of their achievements. I wouldn't use any other Estate Agent full 5 Stars from me big well done to all at Hunters👏👏👏

TrustpilotDishonest, incompetent and terrible attitude
Should you choose this letting agents here are a few things you can expect as routine:1) Lying about the status of properties on the market and deliberately misleading all parties on the status of such properties.2) Arranging appointments to view properties that they don't even turn up to meet you at.3) Cocky, arrogant and sarcastic customer service. They really do not care AT ALL!Literally the worst letting agent you could ever choose to instruct. As you can see from the other reviews, dishonesty, incompetence and terrible staff attitudes are a feature. There is a reason for that. Be warned.

TrustpilotHunters Belmont Circle
Called Hunters Belmont Circle to arrange a valuation of my home. They asked me the reason for wanting to sell and when I told them it was because we're divorcing the representative immediately turned frosty and said they charge for valuations if your selling due to divorce. Imagine you're presented with a very devastating and traumatic life event, and then the pariahs come a hunting to see if they too can make a profit out of someone else's misery. Shameful.

TrustpilotWhy all the complications?
Tried to book a viewing online of a property in South Shields. I received multiple text messages and emails asking me to complete a further questionnaire before they could proceed. This questionnaire then appears to have prompted another questionnaire (with multiple further texts and emails), which looked like it was going to try and book me in for a property valuation of my current home. I decided instead to call and try and book a viewing. The gentleman who answered seemed thoroughly disinterested and told me viewings could only be booked for weekdays, and only during the hours of 9am to 5pm. I explained that I work during those hours (as most people do, I would suspect) and he said, 'Ok then, bye' and terminated the call. Not sure exactly how anyone is supposed to view a property with Hunters.

TrustpilotExtremely bad experience with Unprofessional and Rude people... Preston Road Wembley branch
Preston Road Wembley BranchI regret to say that my experience with your service has been extremely disappointing. The level of unprofessionalism displayed throughout the process was astounding. From misleading information to outright lies, it became clear that your team was not transparent or trustworthy from the start.Unfortunately, after the deal was finalized, your true nature became even more evident. The promises made prior to the transaction were not upheld, and your team showed a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction. I would strongly caution anyone against working with your company.Thank you for making this an experience I will never forget, but for all the wrong reasons.

TrustpilotThank you so much to Rob
Thank you so much to Rob, I believe, that’s his name for going the extra mile to get my wristwatch fixed. It had unfortunately come apart whilst they were trying to install a battery. I am eternally grateful as the watch was special to me. They were most apologetic and ensured that everything was done to get the thing up and working. So once again thank you for your excellent customer service.100%

TrustpilotAbsolutely the worst estate agents
Absolutely the worst estate agents , I booked a flat viewing at 4:45pm on Friday evening , I was left a voice message in the morning asking if I couldn’t attend please let them know, I was attending so not necessary, I drove for 50 mins in rush hour traffic and got to the property about 4:47 pm 2 mins late, on the travel over I phoned up the company 4 times leaving messages saying I will be slightly late no answer, when I go to the property the agent wasn’t there , no phone call to my mobile at any point, I knocked on the door and the owners were there very surprised to see me 🤔🤔 I said hi I have a viewing which they replied oh we didn’t know and there has been no agent there today waiting for me, it was very awkward looking around and then I left, the whole situation was a joke how DARE YOU treat potential renters/buyers that way not even turning up and even letting the owners know, waste of my travel time and petrol money , email the agents and they replied back there was someone there but because u was 2 min late they left as there to busy to wait, CROCK of S**t no one was there confirmed bye the owners, I really hope your company goes bust and u all lose your jobs , I should of look at the reviews on here before contacting your agency as there shocking and the worst Iv ever see. For a company Shameful Sharon mcevoy rude lady stay clear

GoogleOn a 500mile+ round trip to find a new home in Leeds, I was very thankful for Mark's cheerful, optimistic and helpful advice. He couldn't do enough to help once I told him I was travelling on my own, advising me that if I had any concerns about anything he was on the end of the phone. Mark's particular brand of Yorkshire kindness took a lot of my anxiety away.
Jenny was equally helpful as she showed me round the two properties I was interested in, providing lots of information about the area. Although the properties weren't suitable this time I would have no hesitation in using Hunters again or recommending them to others. Such lovely people.

Hunters- Wallasey branchHunters- Wallasey branch. Horrendous. Absolutely no compassion or care during Covid-19. Even though the landlord is probably taken advantage of his mortgage holidays. Had no working fire alarms since February!!! Don’t reply to emails or answer the phone. DO NOT RENT OFF THESE. House was filthy when we moved in took me 4 days to clean before stuff could be moved in- told them this and they just said rented as seen.

TrustpilotAvoid at all costs. The worst of the worst!
Couldn't have come across worse agents. Took two months to get the house on the market because of continuous delays with contracts, photos and communications. Extremely unresponsive overall, would sometimes have to call for weeks to get an answer or an update. The agents come to house viewings without knowing anything about the house and they lie more than any service provider I've ever dealt with. The absolute bottom of the barrel of estate agents. Avoid at all costs!

TrustpilotIf I could give zero stars or negative
If I could give zero stars or even negative stars, I would. From renting the property, collecting the keys, discussing the lease renewal, to the recent issue with rent payments, it has been a complete disaster. When I first viewed the property, I told the agent at Hunter that my current lease was ending soon and I needed to speed up the process of getting the keys. The agent assured me it would be fine and agreed to hand over the keys on Monday. However, I spent the entire Monday chasing them from morning to evening, even going to their office, but still didn’t get the keys. When I arrived at their office, they told me some documents weren’t signed. I couldn’t believe they only realized this after I had to show up in person. The next day, I contacted them again in the morning, and once again, they weren’t ready. It wasn't until late Tuesday, right before their office closed, that I finally got the keys.A year later, when it was time to renew, Hunter told me the landlord agreed not to raise the rent, and I immediately accepted. They sent over the renewal documents, but before I could sign and return them, they called the next day saying the landlord had changed their mind and wanted to increase the rent by £200. I was shocked. How could they go back on their word? Hunter even insisted that the landlord had the right to do so because there were still two weeks before the lease renewal, otherwise, the landlord could end the tenancy. This felt like bullying, but I had no choice but to agree.Yesterday, I received the payment invoice for the renewal, but the amount listed was still the old rent. Since they issued the invoice, I paid the amount stated. Today, they realized their mistake and sent me an email asking for the remaining balance, even rushing me to pay immediately. I was at work at the time, so I couldn’t make the payment right away. Later, Hunter's agency called me, and instead of being polite, they demanded I pay as soon as possible. I told them I was working and couldn’t pay immediately, and that it was their mistake, not mine. They insisted I pay after work, but I had other commitments. I can’t believe they made the mistake but still had such a rude attitude.I will never use this company again, and I hope they go out of business to avoid further damaging the reputation of service companies in the UK.

TrustpilotI had Terrible Experience, Avoid at All Costs
I had an extremely disappointing experience with this estate agent. I paid a deposit for a flat, expecting everything to go ahead as agreed. Not only did they fail to give me the flat, but they also refused to return my deposit. Completely unprofessional and dishonest behaviour. I would strongly advise others to stay away, this is not how business should be done.
