Lost Trust in the company

Sorry! I have to change my opinion as regards to my worst experience for my purchases through them. My 1st purchase was a total loss which gone into liquidation before I even I got the title. A big financial loss nearly of £80k.I won't recommend others.

False Promises Disappointing Experience

I purchased a off-plan apartment through Aspen Woolf. The development was due to complete in Q3 2019 and building work has not even begun. This investment was scheduled to provide a pension income and Aspen Woolf can’t even provide an update of when construction will begin. This purchase was made with 5% interest due on my full £90k down payment. So far this is costing me solicitors fees with no forthcoming income. Seriously considering having to rescind my contact, which of course comes with a hefty penalty at my expense. Don’t sell promises you can’t keep. Incredibly disappointing experience, please help turn this around.

i purchased a off plan flat in manchester through aspen woolf.. the project was called angelgate and developer pinnacle alliance. over 320 people paid over 32 million pounds as 50 or 80% deposit. they took all the money and delivered a piece of wasteland in manchester. all the buyers have lost their money. estimated 80% loss of depositted money.aspen woolf introduce us to a setup and as a result we lost our life savings.i would say walk away and dont touch their offerings as is all false.many of the buyers have suffered two years of stress and several are battling with cancer as a result of their disastrous experience. all thanks to adpen woolf. we are now looking at years of litigation and expensive legal action.the service experience from aspen woolf during the last year was aborted when their latest customer care agent resigned and left them.Sadly the impact and effect of this experience stays with you far longer than one or two years. loosing life savings is very hard and i did suffer that as a result of my purchase through aspen woolf.

Be warned

Be warned. Aspen Woolf have peddled Pinnacle Alliance products in the past and these have left a trail of angry and disappointed investors. I note that AW has tried to object to this review. But the fact is that AW promoted and recommended multiple real estate developments from Pinnacle Alliance. In my conversations with AW (prior to investment), I was told that PA was a highly respected developer and that the products I was considering were excellent investments. Either AW failed to undertake any due diligence on PA as a developer, or they lied to me to get their commission. I invested in 3 apartments over 2 developments on AW's recommendation, and these have been nothing but utter headaches. AW pushes products on investors to get a commission from the developer - but there is a real question over the quality of their due diligence on the products they sell and the integrity of some of the developers they work with. Sorry AW, you can't have your cake and eat it - you claim that "Here at Aspen Woolf we specialize in identifying wealth-building opportunities in both the UK and across the globe through smart, safe and secure property investments... you can trust that we have done the necessary research to always provide the best investment opportunities for all your needs." But in my experience, nothing could be further from the truth. Be careful with your money and don't believe the sales hype.

The property I was offered was due for completion 3rd quarter 2017

The property I was offered was due for completion third quarter 2017 and end September I paid 25% of the price while being assured completion was imminent. I have had no correspondence since November, and even this was only in response to an email I sent. Since then, despite several emails on my part, nothing. One does wonder at what point one has to start fearing the worst. AP should perhaps concentrate on finishing what they have started before showering clients with proposed new properties.

Uninformed and misleading. Incompetent or policy?

I am very surprised to see so many high ratings for this company. We are extremely disappointed in the lack of or misleading information provided and complete lack of proactive feedback. Earilier this year we committed to a new build development that was half way through the build in Leeds being marketed by Aspen. We had many discussions with the sales staff prior to committing to give assurance on the Completion date as our daughter was to use the Flat to live in during her Masters at the University beginning in mid September. We were assured this would not be a problem as there was some sort of drop dead date in the developers agreement of August. Well it is now December and each month that we have called Aspen it will just be a few more weeks. It is still not complete, and we have just realized that when the sales staff have used the term “Completion”, it means “when the building will be finished”, not when the final transaction of the sale will be complete....and their business is selling property.....Meanwhile my daughter has had to find several different lots of temporary short stay accommodation for which one pays a premium, but more important is the continual disruption and uncertainty this adds during a very busy course.
