Having emigrated to north America, we asked Knight & Rennie to handle our UK house sale, whilst we were 4500 miles away and 7hrs behind GMT. From the point of the initial valuation (knowledge of the market was excellent), on to the early exchange of contracts and through to the sale completion, we knew Oliver, Andrew and the team were working on our behalf. The service was prompt, confident, professional and with some light hearted moments too. Bottom line is we would not hesitate to use them again and are very happy to recommend them.

Knight & Rennie were a breath of fresh air compared to the previous estate agents . Andrew James knows the market, does not use 'estate agent speak' and is both professional and personable. Clear communications and a straightforward approach both appealed to me. The sale was achieved very quickly with the minimum of fuss and at very good price. Stressfull - certainly not, but a pleasure from start to finish. I have no hesitation in endorsing both Andrew James and Knight & Rennie.

We have recently returned to Knight and Rennie to sell our property due to relocation. Having used them to sell a previous property, we have been delighted once again with the outstanding service provided by the whole team. We were delighted with the initial valuation from Oliver and once again thrilled with the quick turnaround and sale of our property. What really sets K&N apart from other Estate Agents is their high level of integrity. Even if the message is a difficult one, it is delivered quickly and a solution put in place. Across the team we found everyone approachable, open and honest. Despite strong competition from other neighbouring properties, we sold within a couple of weeks and achieved within our valuation estimate which we were absolutely delighted with. We were kept informed of the sale progress and both Emma and Sophie worked tirelessly on the sale, generating viewings and proactively following through the sale to completion. This combination of skill and behaviour sets K&N apart from the rest of the Agents. I cannot thank the whole team enough, particularly Sophie and Emma for all of their help and support. What is usually a stressful process was actually made pleasurable. My husband and I have been talking this evening about the move and we still can't believe how easy it has been to get where we wanted to be. From the moment Oliver came to give a valuation of our home, we knew we were in safe hands - the fees were clear and very reasonable, and the quality of the marketing material was exceptionally high. Even before the house was on the market, Andrew and the team in the Leamington office worked very hard on our behalf, and kept us informed every step of the way. We were particularly impressed by the prompt and useful feedback after each viewing, and especially by the way the house was always left spotless, even after five viewings on a snowy day! After we had agreed a price with our buyers, Andrew continued to keep us informed of the progress of the sale, and we completed on the day we were expecting to. All in all our experience with Knight and Rennie was 100% positive, and we would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone with a property to sell.

We bought our new bungalow through KR which was quick and expedient. We subsequently put our exisiting property on the market, again through KR, and within days it was sold! Oliver was an excellent listener to our requirements ensuring we received exactly what our requirements were with no pressure to change them. The photographs taken were excellent and were a good reflection of the property offered.. Victoria then took over the reins in introducing potential clients and again with the same pro customer attitude as her colleagues. Within days a sale had been agtreed. We were delighted! It would be difficult to find a company who are so focussed on the job in hand and it was a pleasure to deal with them. They will be a hard act to follow!

I was relocating from London and looked at lots of properties for nearly a year before I found one I really liked. Early in 2012, I was under a lot of pressure as I had sold my house in London. Victoria Benyon at Knight & Rennie could not have been more helpful, arranging surveys etc. Victoria is super efficient and her efforts really made a difference. I'm not thinking of moving soon but Knight & Rennie would be high on my list to manage the sale.

I put my house on the market with Knight Rennie; they were excellent! Within the first week I had several perspective buyers view the house and then a steady stream of serious buyers most weeks after that. The really nice thing about Knight Rennie was their honesty & integrity; I don't think any of the buyers were 'just looking' and if offers were way below the asking price, the agents did not hesitate in stating this to the buyers (as we had already agreed that I was looking for a pretty much my asking proce). I can't fault Knight Rennie, I was hesitant about marketing my house but they provided an excellent service keeping me informed at every step of the way and I would hesitate to recommend them highly or to use them again in the future.

A great service from start to finish. We bought our first house through Knight and Rennie and from the moment we gave our initial offer to Oliver through to the exchange of contracts we felt that we were kept in the loop and that process was managed smoothly. Victoria is very proactive, helpful and professional; she worked hard to ensure that the process completed as quickly as possible and with the minimum level of stress. All in all we were very happy with the process and would use Knight and Rennie again (albeit not for a while - as we did just move!!)

We suffered from untruths & broken promises. So disappointing that an estate agent is so driven to sell a house that they will waste months of peoples lives.

Organised a viewing with Claire and chatted through my thoughts/concerns with housing. She was professional and responsive throughout, nothing was too much trouble and all of my queries were answered. My partner and I have been renting for approx. 20 years combined and we have never had so many hassles as dealing with Knight and Rennie. We were renting and when we went to move in the house wasn't ready and i don't think anyone from K&R had even had a look around. It wasn't cleaned, things were broken or not working, and the landlord had left a lot of junk behind. We ended up having to clean the place and pack the landlords stuff up for him ourselves. When things stopped working all we got was stalling and blocking, and straight away quoting legal points rather than just fixing them. When you rent a place it is fair to assume the things should work. There are some good people there like Tamara, but the others leave a lot to be desired. My advice to any body renting with K&R is to read the contract really carefully and see what protections you have. You'll find the landlord is completely covered , the tenant has none. Think what will happen if something goes wrong. Response - Thanks for your reply Oliver. Whilst i was staying at that property I did speak with you and others at K&R repeatedly and they weren't resolved. Again i strongly urge people to check the contracts really carefully before signing with them. Also make sure you get everything in writing, don't rely on a conversation get it written down so you have evidence to protect yourself.

After a lot of research in finding the right agent to represent us, we couldn’t have been more impressed by SBK. The advice we received was realistic but with hopeful optimism, and not just what we wanted to hear. Andrew knows the business inside out and his years of experience were clear to see. The costs were competitive and for the level of service and I believe worth every penny. The photographer used was exceptional and a true professional. We met Sophie who would be conducting the viewings on the property to show her around before the viewings, her enthusiasm was great, and we knew she would be the best person for the job. Once the sale had been agreed, Norma took over the dealings in sales progression, she was considerate to us as people and not just another sale to deal with.
