GoogleI called this estate agent 7 times, they rang back once. I thought that they would have been good considering so many glowing reviews. When they finally called back and said we have a viewing available, they didn’t show up and neither did the tenant. They do not care about students, my experiences with them have made that clear. I will never work with them again.

GoogleOn the letting side they are the worst company to deal with since they do not have any concerns about the tenants and the relative problems accordingly. They have got those special contracts with landlords where they manage only the paperwork which in my instance they screwed up by giving the wrong amounts where included, furthermore the terms and conditions when you make a reference to them there was no reference that you need to refer to the landlord. Secondly they tell you to interact with the landlord for any issues and then they mingled again and now you need to speak to them. The only evident reason they only pleasing the landlord which is unfair and they cannot really take any actions themselves but further down delaying the process. At end of your tenancy they try their best to hold as much as they can from the deposit and falsely accuse you for damages or removal of furniture which you never even touched. Whereas the letting agency was just there watching to unfairness and false claims of the landlord. Totally not recommended if you have no options just make sure you report every little issues so you will not be the person to pay for it at the end of the tenancy. GoogleRACIST, LIAR and YELLING to the customer on the phone! These are the best words to describe Handles Property. My husband and I are two engineers at JLR and University of Oxford from Italy. We had the first viewing with Sarah on 24.04.2021. Even though she told us that the property hasn't had any viewings in the past or future (so that we can take our time and even bargain); she wrote to us that she didn't realize that there was already another party interested in the property. After a couple of days we realized that the property is still on the market and I called to ask whether it is maybe still available or not. I talked to Jacob first on the phone and he accepted me to start the payment process. However they LIED again after asking for our contact details. They realized AGAIN at that moment(!) that the property was already rented. Then I told that I was taking it personally that they keep changing their mind after they realize that we are NOT ENGLISH. Jacob transferred me to his colleague Mark, who started to yell at me on the phone by saying: "Do you think I am a liar? Because I am not a liar. I am taking it personally now. I am not a liar! I am saying the truth. I assure you.". They also cancelled my other appointment by saying that I wouldn't possibly want to work with them. It is up to you now; do you think they are liars?

They treated me with dignity and respect, in fact I have recommended them to my friends of many nationalities and sexual orientations, as I found the staff lovely and respectful of my culture as someone who is of mixed heritage. Handles enabled me to upgrade my property standard significantly as previously wasnt able to invite friends around to previous house ,rented due to different issues, Sarah at Handles used her expertise and matched me to a property suitable for needs for which I am truly grateful. Would I use Handles again most definite as they are invested in people and their business of providing best service possible long term . This is why I believe in them and thank them always for their help.

They say a house move can be one of the most stressful events, but Mark Wadsworth who handled the marketing and the sale of our property was so helpful from start to finish, it made everything so much easier. The quality of the photos for marketing the house were extremely professional, and he kept us updated on a regular basis with feedback from viewings and his recommendations. Once the offer had been put forward and accepted, he stayed in touch and communicated with third parties (ie: solicitors) to ensure it all went through efficiently and smoothly. GoogleSo far I have only had but positive exchanges with Handles and with Marc. I have been in the property a few months now and can say that the moving in process was easy like Sunday morning. I only had one day to view a property that seemed ideal and they managed to squeeze me in. And I agreed to stay then and there. I also had a query about something in the studio flat, Marc responded instantaneously and it was sorted the next day. Marc and Handles not only offer great customer service but act decisively, confidently and make you feel comfortable. I would highly recommend, especially if you are new into the area as I was.
