The Battersea Team were brilliant to deal with in the sale of our property. Fred in particular was fantastic to deal with throughout the sale process. As we were immigrating to New Zealand during the sale process and had departed the UK after accepting an offer but before exchange of contracts, Fred was exceptional with providing feedback and assisting us when opposite time zones were a challenge. I would have no hesitation recommending John D Wood to other sellers in Battersea and a big thanks to Fred for all his help!

Our experience with John D Wood was frustrating and stressful. We dealt with four different agents during our tenancy, and none resolved any issues. The checkout process was the worst - we moved out in April, but our checkout report took 10 days, and despite a professional clean, the landlord conducted another and tried to charge us.

On our first viewing with Charley from JDW we knew from the get go that JDW provided a different, much higher calibre service compared to the other local estate agents we had dealt with. As first time buyers, we had a lot of questions and Charley guided us through the buying process seamlessly. She demonstrated her work ethic and consistently went above and beyond for us (even reading our extremely detailed survey to help us digest the information), arranging additional viewings to measure the space, working with the vendor to secure items to come with the house, and contacting our solicitor to ensure the process moved at a timely pace. I'd like to thank the whole team at John D Wood in South Kensington and in particular Umar and Angelo for introducing a buyer and working together with all parties (solicitors, managing agents, freeholders, buyer and vendor) in a friendly, personalised and dedicated way from start to finish. Although the whole process - from offer and sales memorandum till exchange of contracts and completion of the sale at the agreed price - took approximately 12 weeks, Umar and Angelo have always kept me informed of every single step towards achieving a successful sale. It was often just a text or quick phone call - even on a Sunday - which kept me motivated throughout the process. I believe that with John D Wood I have been in very good hands and would therefore highly recommend them.

They are the worst letting agent we’ve ever dealt with, do not rent or buy with this company, complete incompetence at all levels of management. They will cost you money, time, stress & potentially your health, it is not worth it! When we moved out we also recieved our deposit back in full just for clarity. (Though it took much longer than it should have)

This company make an appearance of disorganization, but could not possible stay in business, if they were, indeed, as disorganized as they appear. Having managed to fend me off for three days whilst I was house-hunting in France; I finally found that the gem of a house I had found - in Perpignan - was taken off the market; in order that it could be purchased by a relative of one of the partners/directors of John D Wood. Worse than inefficient and unprofessional ... very close to fraudulent! DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!

There was a flood and the information provided by the company turned out to be in accurate so they have refused to reimburse me for the hotel and all costs.
