Our experience with Foxtons has been appalling. We dealt with Oram Ohene-Djen, our letting negotiator, who from the very beginning was unhelpful, dismissive, and often gaslighting us whenever we raised concerns. Instead of supporting us, he downplayed delays, avoided giving clear answers, and left us constantly uncertain.

Cannot recommend highly enough! Incredible service from start to finish. Towards the end of 2019 Foxtons in Brixton sold my property in record time in a very challenging environment. Not only did the flat sell above asking price, I was in the position where I could pick from a number of buyers competing for the property. Given the market challenges they faced, and the desirability of the property (ex local), the speed and efficiency of the service was incredible. Thomas Lebbern and Abs Morafa were great partners throughout, providing ongoing guidance and support. Their attention to detail and thoroughness was vital when dealing with a very challenging legal process. At times of intense pressure, they were constantly close the action helping all parties come to the best outcome. For anyone thinking of buying or selling in Brixton, Tom and the team at Foxtons are the place to go.

Landlords don’t be fooled by the nice offices and friendly staff. They are ruthless. They take 13 percent + VAT for rent collection only and lock you in for 5 years. It’s not the tenants we need protecting from. It’s the ruthless agents.

Will @ Foxtons in Brixton has been absolutely fantastic with finding a buyer for my property and managing them through to completion. I could not rate them highly enough. Will kept the momentum going when we had a number of buyers fall through (for various reasons) - and each time, they renewed the search for a buyer with as much enthusiasm as the first time. Clodagh who found my eventual buyer made the process as stress-free as possible, and the offer negotiation was very smooth. She gave me plenty of confidence in the process, and Foxtons have been amazing from beginning to end. I'd originally put my property on the market through another Estate Agent, but I had a very poor experience and no viewings. As soon as I put it on with Foxtons, there were 1-2 viewings happening a day. Amazing service, and I felt that Foxtons were working really hard to sell my property, and this more than justifies the higher fee. Thanks so much.

I've had a great experience finding the right property with Foxtons. Fortune at Brixton branch has been amazing and found the perfect property for me very quickly. He was very accommodating regarding viewing times, and definitely went the extra mile in finding a great property for me. Very highly recommended - the personal touch definitely goes a long way! Update 24/10/2018 - Happy to say that the property purchase has all gone through without a hitch. Fortune has been brilliant all the way through, very accommodating with last minute viewings. I recommend Foxtons 100%, and if your lucky enough to have Fortune helping you through then you wont be disappointed!

Non-existent communication. Viewings done by an unprepared team: didn't know level of service charge, exposure, if the appliances were new or not, size of the flat or rooms. One claimed we had replaced the kitchen (we hadn't), another that the Hue Lights we installed were staying in the flat for the buyer (we never said that).

Terrible service

Terrible service. Very disappointed. I found a short let property on their portal myself, the agent (Amir Abbasian) kept suggesting either awful properties, or ones over my budget. They were very quick to call back and close the deal but once the deal was made, I never once was able to speak directly to my agent Olivia Taylor, or anyone from Foxtons again. Repeated messages and email queries went unanswered. Every two weeks a new person would be in touch and all my queries would be ignored. The property was nice and in good condition but i paid Foxtons 350 pounds for the end of tenancy clean, and was slapped with a 600 pound cleaning claim on my deposit. The property was never cleaned and my landlord claimed the charges from my deposit. at least a dozen emails later, I still don't have a protection document number for my deposit. I was told my deposit was protected. I ws told I would be provided an inventory upon moving in. I was told the place would be cleaned at the end of my tenancy, for which i paid. None of the above happened. Still waiting for part of my deposit to be returned, even though they said it was transferred three weeks ago and should take 5 to 7 days to be credited. I've settled the dispute with my landlord now, even though it is extortion, but it seems even he was being cheated by Foxtons.
