A few months ago, I got hacked. They stole all of my passwords and more. Every website where I was logged in became inaccessible, but most of them responded promptly and assisted me as best as they could. However, when I attempted to contact Facebook support, I discovered that there was no live support available for a direct chat with a real person who could help me. Facebook only offers support through an "IF ... THAN" based system on a simple page where most solutions don't work completely or are just useless.Fortunately, when I got hacked, I had set up a backup email on my Facebook account. When I tried to recover my account through that email, I encountered a problem. Facebook gave me an error message stating, "You cannot use this feature at this time" :) ... I felt hopeless. However, when the hacker deleted my main email, I finally managed to regain access to my Facebook account through my backup account. I don't know how or why it worked, but I was able to recover my Facebook profile. The entire ordeal lasted about two months, during which I tried various methods to regain access to my account.

IM GIVING THIS SITE 2 STAR EVEN IF ISSUE WAS SOLVED. THIS IS REGARDING A PREVIOUS REVIEW I DID ON FACEBOOK. I CONTACTED FACEBOOK OFFICE UK. GAVE THEM ALL DETAILS, AND STAFF COULD SEE ALL INFORMATION ON CONVERSATIONS AND STATED THEY FO NOT ALLOW THIS TYPE OF ACTIVITY AND THEY WILL BE DEALT WITH. I WAS TOLD THAT, THE PERSON HAD COMMITED A SERIOUS OFFENCE AND WILL BE REMOVED FROM FACEBOOK, WILL BE REPORTED TO CYBER CRIME TEAM. ALSO TO THE POLICE, THE PERSON/PERSONS WHO ARE INVOLVED. I SAY THIS LOOSELY AS MY EMAILS, BANK DETAILS, ADDRESS INFORMATION, AND LET ALONE TRYING TO GET FRIENDS BANK DETAILS, THE PERSON/PERSONS INVOLVED HAD 5 ATTEMPTS TO GET MONEY OUT OF MY ACCOUNT AND WAS TRYING TO USE WORLD REMIT AND SIMPLEX COIN MAMA BOTH ARE USED FOR SCAMMERS AND BLACK MAILERS. AND ARE NOT REGULATED. LUCKILY MY BANK WAS STRAIGHT ON IT. 2 PAYMENTS WAS GOING THROUGH THEN RETURNED TO BANK ACCOUNT AS PEOPLE IN AMERICA THOUGHT THE TRANSACTIONS WAS UNUSUAL. I HAD REPORTED THIS TO POLICE AND FRAUDLINE. WAS TOLD IF PERSON /PERSONS HAD ZIP CODE IT EOULD BE EASY TO TRACK DOWN AND THEY STATED THE FEMALE ON FACEBOOK WAS NOT A REAL PERSON AND MORE LIKELY BE A GROUP OF PEOPLE WORKING FROM WAREHOUSES. SINCE THEN ACTION WAS TAKING BY MYSELF AND POLICE. I AM TRULY GLAD THE PERSON GOT REMOVED AND POSSIBLY TOOK TO COURT.NO DOUBT NEW FACEBOOK ACCOUNT IN NEW NAME. AND SCAMMING SOME OTHER PERSON. I ASK ANY ONE WHO ENDS UP BEEN A VICTIM OF SEXTORTION TO REPORT TO FACEBOOK, AND POLICE. I SAY THIS BECAUSE YOU ARE A VICTIM OF A SERIOUS CRIMINAL OFFENCE AND POLICE GET CALLS ABOUT SEXTORTION EVERY DAY.

I spent a couple days uploading 182 photos into an album in a particular order. I counted them, 182 were there. It had created 2 posts and I only wanted one so I deleted the 2 posts and went to the album - 182 photos still there, and Shared to Feed in one post. When I went on it was saying 110 photos, confusing as post 1 was 149 and post 2 33 photos, but the album was 182. I clicked on the album, and 182 were still there. I added a caption/text and when saved the photos seemed to disappear. The post said 110 photos again. It then said 47 photos on the feed. Still couldn't see any photos. Then it said there was a video there. Now its saying the album is empty. Facebook has lost 2 days of work and my photos. I'm looking at Mewe to transfer and see if its more stable and reliable.

Is it me or is anyone else's newsfeed full of absolutely rubbish suggested pages? I've just counted and 17 out of 19 posts are absolutely irrelevant spam and all other posts are days/weeks old. Think I'm going to have to give FB up for a while as it's absolute tripe at the moment, doesn't matter how many times I click show less or how many times I click hide etc it's just beyond a joke now.

It could have been such a great idea, Instead it has become a marketing tool. FB is about data collection. It has no purpose in any civilised society. The only possible thing abut FB is WhatsApp! It’s a amazing our money changes people and NEVER for the better. Not that he cares but Mark Zuckerberg should take a long look at himself and how he and his idea has destroyed tolerance, increased racism and homophobia, destroyed families. No much good as come from FB and I am so happy it is in decline.

Listed my old firestick on marketplace, as I've upgraded.I clearly put in my listing, sold as bought. No dodgey software , and don't ask me to add any. I did this as I'm aware some people selling them with extras on.Now I've been removed from Facebook, as sky have lazily reported it, even though it doesn't have sky on. Appeal form link doesn't work.Why are big companies allowed to trample on people, with no comebacks?

Hello, I have had a Facebook account for years, but obviously that doesn't matter to Facebook how long you've had an account and have accumulated a following! I have tried and tried to get into my own account now for about 7 months, I've tried everything including sending my ID in about 3 or 4 times and still can't get into my account, I even have fingerprint authentication and still Nope!.... I can't even express how frustrating it is when your own profile is gaining followers and your on the outside watching!....HEY FACEBOOK WHY DONT YOU GIVE ME AN EARLY CHRISTMAS PRESENT AND LET ME BACK INTO MY ACCOUNT!....THAT WOULD BE NICE!

Facebook does not WANT to help you if you get hacked.My account got hacked and there's this one little http address you can go to but the problem is, the hackers a SMARTER than Facebook and they've cut off my route to recovering it by changing the password SEVERAL times so facebook doesn't recognize my password.I called the numbers. Facebook uses pre-rescorded messages. I tried the email you are supposed to contact to get your account back. No reply for DAYS now.I tried making another account, Facebook banned the account., I find it HILARIOUS how "fast" my 2nd account got banned but their people haven't bothered to talk to me about my "real" problem.And finally, the TRUEST piece of evidence that Facebook does not care about it's customers........the never replied here.

Just like instagram, they advertise scams, I reported one and they said they then took it down as they realised it was a scam,very next day the same advert appeared in my news feed, the exact same as it had my comment on it, they did not remove it even though they said they did, so they new it was a scam and left it anyway as they clearly don't car about allowing scammers scam the people who use there platform

I have seen many cases where the platform destroys the businesses of small companies that have multiple accounts connected to Meta. You can't use Facebook normally, separating your own account and your business - they converge in Meta. How does Facebook do it? Say at least something in support of Ukraine in your own account and they will throw all your businesses connected to one Meta into a shadow ban. That's what happened to my Polish friends, and that's what meta did to my account. I had 20 thousand views of reels, and after the shadow ban it became just 20-50. In no case, do not put your business in a precarious position by trusting Facebook - they will gladly bill you and put you in a shadow ban. I forgot to say that I even already paid Facebook to show my reels, they took the money and only did a few views and some bots ran over me. Bots and scammers are a separate story. Facebook does not fight with them because bots and fraudsters write to me during and after advertising campaigns and they count them as part of the successful statistics of the advertising campaign: "well, they write to you! What's wrong?". I hope that this company will disappear soon and give way to new, young and talented startups, because this corpse has already taken the whole road and it is very difficult to bypass it.

A pathetic company that should be shut down NOW! Some scumbag tried to steal an expensive item and run a 15 year old paypal scam on my best friend. I spotted straighht away that it was a scam and luckily it went through me or they would have lost £110 item. Contatced facebook and reported them. facebook within an hour said they did not breach theyre bs terms. So they facilitate theft and fraud. They need to be held accountable for their actions as does facebook.

One star is one star to many. Would give zero stars if possible. Utter joke company. I created an acct (first acct). Got an email an hour later informing me my acct had been disabled for not following their standards. All I did was create an acct. I added one profile pic which was my face and nothing else. I didn't post anything or post about anything. I appealed the decision and got told my appeal had failed and nothing else I could do. How does simply creating an acct warrant it being disabled? They won't even give me the reason for disabling it. It appears to me that Facebook don't want new members. That's the only thing I can think. Avoid joining at all costs is my advice. Disgraceful, so called company

Getting worse. Once got banned for 7 days for calling specific type of men stupid as a joke in response to a men cheating on women post. They called it hate speech?????Then when I reported a homophobic Christian bigot for saying my gay son deserved to be stoned to death they said absolutely no violation. What the hell???Obviously moderated by specific type of people eg Christian homophobic male sexist boomers who don’t know what real hate is or most likely agree with this kind of hate. And have no clue what a lighthearted non malicious joke is 🤷♀️Also get rid of those ugly ridiculous avatars NOBODY likes them ugh and bring back the music section. What the hell? Why get rid of a great feature and keep an ugly worthless one? Making the app even more rubbish!

Because of a linked Instagram account that has nothing to do with me, Facebook has blocked my account! I've followed the login and appeal process, but I'm at a loss on what to do because I have no connection to the associated Instagram account. I believe there may have been an error or something fishy going on. The assistance center is terrible; it has no messaging or chat features and repeatedly cycles users through loops. I've sent messages on various social media platforms and discovered a few email addresses, but I've received no reply or resolution. Disgusting actions from a sizable, ostensibly industry leader.

On December 2, my Facebook account was hacked and Meta disabled it, which is logical, but what is unbelievable is that you cannot contact a person anywhere to reactivate your account. They just have to send a code or password to my email address or mobile number or WhatsApp, but if you email Meta, the emails are not answered. If you post something on X (twitter) or WhatsApp, you get an automatic link that is of no use to you. unbelievably a social media company where you can't contact anyone for help, really unbelievable. Apparently Facebook linked my account to some chinese or vietnamese person's account on instagram (I am Brazilian), and simply suspended my account...A message says I could appeal to the decision on my instagram account (I tried to contact them or complain or appeal in both my business and private account, in meta, ads, facebook and instagram, there is no customer service or pathway to complain/appeal). I now believe the appeal option is inside someone else account! I lost my day going after this, I lost business and money, I am not sure I will be able to keep using my business page, and that because I pay Facebook to place ads for me! Quite shocking and absurd!

Lay outs OK but I am fed up with scantily clad females cluttering up every photo frame. I am absolutely sick of it. It's meant to be social media not a red light district forum. Also their report an offence page supervisors need to be taught what is offensive. I reported a vile photo of offensive graffiti sprayed on a wall and the administrator reported he could "see nothing wrong with it!" I was absolutely disgusted. Facebook needs an overhaul. Site and staff.

No help or response to my blocked account!Facebook has blocked my account due to linked Instagram account that has nothing to do with me! I've followed the login and appeal instructions, but nothing I can do as this linked Instagram account has nothing to do with me, so suspect either a mistake or something suspicious. The help centre is rubbish, keeps going through loops and gives no way of messaging or talking to anyone. I have messaged on other social networks and found a couple of email addresses, but no response or resolve. Shameful behaviour from a large, supposedly leading company.
