Truly exceptional! No words for the outstanding service, attention to detail, out of hours contact whenever needed, but most of all the photography and video of my property was far better than the other agent in the high street. Recently attended a First Time Buyer event set up by Darren. I didn't know what to expect from the event but came away feeling very positive and have a better understanding of how to get the ball rolling to get to the end goal of buying a property. Wait until you give notice to leave

They are very good during the tendency term and have given us a good rating for keeping the property clean. However, everything changed when I gave the notice to leave the property. I returned the keys 15 days (15/05/2023) before the tenancy ended. Keys were handed to their office, and received a confirmation email from the staff. The reason I have given the keys early is to speed up the checks and process the deposit refund. A week later (22/05/23), one of the staff asked if I had vacated the property and where the keys were. This clearly shows that they do not have robust plans when someone leaves the property or does not communicate with each other in their office. Later sent an apology email and started the usual process. Then I was waiting for the checkout report, which they said would be sent to the tenant and landlord as per their policy. I have also been waiting 45 days for the deposit to be returned from the day of checkout. I contacted them again on 03/07/23 to check why the deposit was getting delayed, and their response was the landlord was unavailable for this long! Then they claimed they needed £350 to clean the property. I have cleaned the property, including the carpet, with hired equipment. Cut the grass and left the property in decent condition. Despite all this, they insist on robbing me. I was fed up dealing with them and desperate for my deposit, and I finally agreed to 150 deductions. On 04/07/23, they said the refund was processed, and I would receive an email from DPS in 3-5 days. I waited till 10/07/23, and I contacted DOS to check the progress. DPS said they had not received a response from Mathermarshall yet. Again I had to contact Mathermarshall, and instantly I received an email to respond to the deposit claim. I'm short; you will have nightmares from the day you give notice, also, each and everything you have to chase these goons.

Without hesitation he took the property on his books and thanks to his amazing social media advertising we were finally getting viewings booked in left, right and centre. Fantastic service

In all aspects of the transaction Darren was fantastic. At the outset he was always on time, his valuation was very sensible (and achievable) and the details/photographs were spot on. We had a couple of viewings very quickly the second of which made an offer which after some discussion was raised (Darren was an excellent middle man) and which we then accepted. All pretty painless so far. Unfortunately however as the legals commenced it transpired that there was an issue around the title to one of the other properties in the chain. This issue alongside some very slow and disorganised lawyers had the potential to completely stall the process and if it had not been for Darren this might well have been the case. His endless energy and willingness to chase everyone involved to the point of making himself unpopular was what got us there in the end and we successfully completed pre Christmas in line with everyones wishes. If I ever need another estate agent theres no one else I would use.

Great use of Social Media; honest and kind!

We found Mather Marshall through social media and we really appreciated the online presence. As busy London commuters, finding a house was tricky but being able to spot ones we liked on social media was revolutionary. Darren was a great agent and saw to our every need. He was quick at responding to us and extremely kind and knowledgeable. His honesty and professional integrity were so refreshing - not characteristics often associated with estate agents! It made the whole experience of buying our house fantastically smooth and easy. On moving day, he greeted us with flowers, vouchers and a lovely scented candle, which was such a perfect touch.
