We recently purchased a house and Darren went above and beyond to help us during this time. Open honest communication in a timely manner with regular updates as required. Darren ensured he pushed all sides to help with timelines and went above and beyond to ensure we were able to move into our dream home. Darren took a lot of pressure off us at what should be a very stressful time, he is a delight to work with and I wouldn’t sell a house with anyone else.

In all aspects of the transaction Darren was fantastic. At the outset he was always on time, his valuation was very sensible (and achievable) and the details/photographs were spot on. We had a couple of viewings very quickly the second of which made an offer which after some discussion was raised (Darren was an excellent middle man) and which we then accepted. All pretty painless so far. Unfortunately however as the legals commenced it transpired that there was an issue around the title to one of the other properties in the chain. This issue alongside some very slow and disorganised lawyers had the potential to completely stall the process and if it had not been for Darren this might well have been the case. His endless energy and willingness to chase everyone involved to the point of making himself unpopular was what got us there in the end and we successfully completed pre Christmas in line with everyones wishes. If I ever need another estate agent theres no one else I would use.

Some people say that buying a new home is the second most stressful event in life, after losing a close family member. Well, I've gotta tell you that Mather Marshall made the whole process about as stress free as it could be..
Over a period of about 7 months we had 2 offers accepted on 2 properties, and although the agents dealing with both sales talked the talk, neither walked the walk. They were both keen to confirm that we were cash buyers and our bona fides were up to scratch, but not so energetic in easing the vendors' along with their bits and pieces. Consequently, we got nowhere with either property.
And then I heard the sound of horse's hooves, and Darren Gilbert of Mather Marshall galloped over the horizon, heading in our direction. I thought it strange that he was dressed in shining Armour, but who am I to judge?
He did his estate agent's thing without being too pushy, confirming that we were legit and easing the vendor along with a smile and a gentle nudge. He kept us informed at every stage and we completed in about 6 weeks from first viewing to taking charge of the keys.
Darren is a breath of fresh air...and the house isn't bad, either.
I would recommend Darren and Mather Marshall without a second's hesitation, in fact, I've already suggested that my daughter, who wants to move out this way, makes good use of Darren's expertise. How bad can that be?
