Over the past year we have used Ryder & Dutton for the sale of the houses of two relatives that passed away. This was a stressful and difficult time but Emma and Leanne from the Linthwaite office made this possible with their 'easy' professionalism and positivity. Our initial contact was with Leanne, who subsequently showed prospective buyers around our property. In this I think she did a very good job. Most of the actual negotiating was done by Emma. What at first was supposed to be a fairly simple cash purchase, subsequently became more difficult, but throughout Emma dealt with all of the difficulties with considerable professionalism. As far as the staff goes at the Colne Valley office I have no complaints at all. My only criticism of Ryder & Dutton is that the billing department should be made aware that the bill should be a percentage of the final purchase price, not the original asking price. My solicitor was very aware of this potential, and checked with us prior to payment.

I spent a week with Leanne and Emma during my work experience in October. The girls were absolutely fantastic and allowed me to get involved with parts of the job. I went on market appraisals and viewings with Leanne where I spoke to and met many customers to then create floor plans back at the office of the places we had been to. Although it was small, the office was very welcoming and very friendly atmosphere. I am very grateful that Leanne and Emma allowed me to partake in these various activities and helped me to come out of my shell a little. I find it amazing how dedicated the girls are towards their customers in ensuring they have absolute satisfaction with their service and how they will go the extra mile to make sure the customers are delighted with their outcomes.

My partner and I are moving to the Colne valley from the south coast and these guys have been utterly wonderful! Leanne and Emma have both been delightful to deal with - clear and honest communication with no “hard sell”. Reassuring and most accommodating - they helped us to get all the surveys that we needed to buy in confidence and even came to the property with us at very short notice.
