I recently needed to contact the Estate Agent I have been using for about 20 years. I was informed that Kelsey - Anne Chrimes was no longer available. Apparently she now works with you. Please put me onto your prospective client list. Kelsey has recently helped me and she has an extraordinary high level of care for both the landlord ( me ) and the tenants.

GoogleAwful experience. We were told, in writing, we were excellent tenants and thanked by the landlord, over the span of many years paid rent perfectly never a second late hardly needed anything fixed within the house - but when we did need maintenance including electrical faults some were never rectified or some issues we rectified very poorly. They took excess deposit which we didn’t realise at the time, didn’t complete EICR only wanted to do it when we were moving out, and treated us as less than. I believe we faced discrimination and the way I was spoken to by certain Southernbrook employees I can’t imagine I would have spoken to like that if I was male. Really absolutely disheartening experience. I couldn’t recommend them to anyone and wouldn’t wish for anyone to be disregarded and not treated without common courtesy, respect and dignity the way we often weren’t. At times they requested for a property inspection within weeks of each other despite never failing an inspection and always being told we were keeping the house really well, I don’t really know what was going on (do they get paid for additional inspections? I would think not but it was very excessive). It was very unfair and stressful having the property managed by them, they were not professional or competent in their service to us. This short review is just the tip of iceberg.

Nothing positive to say about southernbrook. Viewed 3 rental properties. The first was a family home we loved but was rented to a group of 3 sharers. House 2 was grossly overpriced and then house 3 we loved. Put a holding deposit on the property to be ignored for several days. We was then told the landlord has pulled their property off the market and essentially ‘stitched the letting agents up’. There is now a southernbrook Let-by sign outside this house.

GoogleThank you Kingston and Gosport branch viewed the property and put down a holding deposit two weeks later moved in so nice to once again to be settled. Miranda went above and beyond due to referencing company messing up but thanks to her all was well. Gradually making a new home after a stressful start to the year. Many thanks guys. Simon. L

FacebookLook at the date of the reviews below. Avoid at all costs if renting! The staff (in particular Hayley Garforth and Joe Brakspear) will lie about damage and stains in the property to claim as much of your deposit as possible. Despicable people with unbelievably poor service. When we moved into 72 St Agnes Place the flat was clearly not professionally cleaned so in addition to the inventory report we took photos and forwarded them onto the agents (on Day 1). We also placed all of their kitchenware, TV and all miscellaneous household items into the storage cupboard as not to use them. Upon leaving 12months later we had the flat professionally cleaned and put all the original items back where they were after being untouched in storage. Now Southernbrook is trying to take a large percentage of our deposit and communicate to us as if they are doing us a favour. They want 50% for items!? And additional carpet cleaning even though it’s cleaner than when we moved in as can be seen on the inventory photos. You have been warned. AVOID!

FacebookThe whole process of moving into our property was very efficient and easy thanks to Joshua Newton and Penny Barc. We found completing the application straight forward on vouch too. They were always there to answer any questions we had about moving into our first home and it all ran very smoothly even with the current circumstances of COVID. Albeit it is still early days in our new home but so far so good. Our experience as tenants at Southernbrook Lettings has been amazing and we would highly recommend!

GoogleDidn't update lead name on the deposit when other tenant moved out which means I cannot raise a dispute with My Deposits to get my deposit back. Not responding to emails asking to update My Deposit details so lost deposit!

GoogleI would highly recommend Southernbrook lettings. They are a very professional and helpful organisation. The added benefit of using this company is that they have a personal touch which is so important and something that is a bit lacking in this modern world. Whenever I have had any issue or needed advice, they have always been there to help. We have been using this company for many years As my father, like I said a nice personal touch and all the staff are always very obliging. I have therefore taken them on trust and upgraded them to 5 stars for resolving the problem to my satisfaction. Obviously, if I don't receive my refund as promised, I will write another review!

GoogleSoutherbrook Lettings in Kingston are excellent agents and they have a wealth of experience. I am very happy with the services and advice they have given me over the last 5 years and I will continue to rent my house with them. Cortni has always found good tenants for me and she has always been very helpful and given me sound advice when needed. Joe has recently helped me with the renewal of my tenancy agreement and he was very helpful and professional. I was introduced by a friend and I would recommend them to anyone.
