I rented a property managed by Foxtons for five years and one month. We paid rent on time every month and never had a complaint raised against us. Then we tried to leave.

GoogleRelocating here from the US during COVID times, we were restricted to searching for a home via the internet during our 14 day quarantine. We had reached out to several agents from different letting agencies - Suganth Wimalendran is definitely the best. Responsive and caring, he always made us feel as if we were his top priority. He had us signed up with a home by the end of the week. His eagerness, attention and knowledge sets him apart from the others - we will definitely keep his number for future letting needs and highly recommend him if you're searching for a home to rent. GoogleRachel Ng is immensely diligent, always keeping me updated and never forgetting one of her customers. She has recently helped me in a desperate setback, mastering time management and a lot of pressure, and I am truly grateful to her for finding an adequate house and location for me. She is also polite and a marvellous speaker because she listens and interacts with what I say, being very attentive and patient. Besides, she has candid kindness and contagious optimism. In conclusion, she is an exemplary real estate agent in a nutshell, and therefore, I strongly recommend her to cooperate with anyone. I indubitably think she has a successful professional future ahead of her.

GoogleSuganth Wimalendran - Kingston Office was very efficient and communicative. Works long hours and always gets back to you within the day, sometimes if early on in the day he will reply or call within minutes. I felt he worked both for us and the landlord. Very efficient, did I say that already. Also of course very friendly. Both myself and husband agree. Now i hope our tenancy will be just as positive.PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

Foxtons’s account’s department have bad ethical practices.The charged me as a landlord 3 years commission & after six months again charged me 2 years commission for the same property.when I complained they credited part of the commission but after a week they recharged me some more commission.As the tenant rent is deposited directly into Foxtons’s account I cannot do much about it and am finally taking them to court for fraudulent activity.

GoogleI am happy to say the past viewing I had through Foxtons by Anjali was great! I must say the professionalism and approach by her, is way beyond the market standards. All her continued support, even with online viewing she made possible while I was at work, which is highly appreciated. She understands the customer and makes things easier. GoogleTerrible. They'll be super nice and helpful when you're first signing a contract with them, but for any issues after that, they're so useless and annoying to deal with. My roommate and I were told we could do a tenancy swap later on if one of us were to leave (made to sound like a simple process) and when I went to do this, it was such a nightmare. I had to call basically every day for an update on the process, put on hold for ages each time. If I didn't nag them, I don't think they ever would have completed the process. We were told it would take 4 weeks, it's been about 2 months and still not finalized. The new tenant has already moved in because it's been so long. I literally just called to find out why our contract hasn't been confirmed yet, despite all parties signing it about 2 weeks ago, and I got put on hold multiple times told I was being transferred to the tenancy department only to never reach anyone from this department..... Honestly avoid Foxtons if you can and don't let their initial kindness fool you. They're only helpful when they have something to gain from it. Once you've signed the lease, you're on your own and they don't care. Also side note why do they have a breakup song as their hold song??? I'm going mad

GoogleWe have been looking for a place to rent in a very short amount of time and Anjali Talwaria has been extremely helpful. She has been working very hard to find us properties that meet our exact specifications. She has great communication skills, is extremely hard working and very easy to get along with. We would recommend Foxtons purely based off of her performance.

GoogleFoxtons did really well for me. They found a buyer quickly. They kept in touch with both myself and the buyer , and when nothing was moving, because the disorganised and uncooperative duo representing the freeholders would not cooperate and fill out the LPE1 form, Christian Dickson from Foxtons stepped in and managed to reason with the freehold group and cajole them into cooperating. I was initially contacted by Simon Harmer at Foxtons Kingston, who proved very loyal over a long period, we had good conversations about the market, he was very polite and informative, he built up a relationship which made me feel, 'let's give it a go, maybe they are worth it'. I would say that the slightly higher Foxtons fee has proved to be really worth it, because it was a difficult sale because of problem freeholders and I really needed them. Above all, they seem to be intelligent people, who understand and look after clients. Christian Dickson was excellent and Ambhar Dar good in her role as well. Very importantly, Christian had the confidence to use his role as a go-between who can talk to and email the seller, the seller's solicitor, the freeholder's solicitor, the freeholder themselves, the buyer, the buyer's solicitor, and can smooth out problems. This is a really key role: when the solicitors don’t tell you what is going on, having an agent who works with all parties and can call up everyone involved and find out what is happening can be really helpful in keeping things on track, explaining hold ups, and keeping both buyer and seller informed.

I would strongly caution anyone against using Foxtons when purchasing a property. Our experience was deeply disappointing and handled with a complete lack of professionalism, integrity and basic transparency.

GoogleBought our first flat with the help of Foxtons and they were nothing but amazing. Always calling with information as soon as they receive it, were super helpful with helping us with further surveys that we needed to carry out and always sounded super positive. We worked with Alyssa and Greg both of who were great to speak to and were super helpful all the time. (They didn't even get annoyed when I use to call them all the time). Thanks again guys! GoogleMe and my mum started searching for a rental property not too long ago. We weren’t really getting anywhere with the other estate agents, as they weren’t understanding or sympathetic towards what our needs for a new property were. Ellie from Foxtons immediately understood what we were looking for and catered towards our needs straight away. She had so much time for us, and made sure we were doing ok at all stages in our stressful search. Me and my mum are very grateful for coming across Ellie , as without her we would’ve really struggled to find a nice property. I’d urge everyone looking to rent/buy to ask for Ellie from Foxtons as she’d make your search the easiest it could be!! Thank you once again Ellie!!
