Extremely unprofessional conduct and repeated harassing contact

Extremely unprofessional conduct and repeated contact amounting to harassment. I have received unwanted calls and emails from Dexters since 2017, each time I have asked them to remove my contact details from their database but either through neglect, lack of training, incompetence or IT issues, I have repeatedly still gotten more calls/emails every few months. Unless you want to forever receive spam calls from them, avoid like the plague.

Yes - sold our property - but then that was it

Yes - they sold our property - however thats the easy part. During the sales process they did very little, to the point the onward estate agents in the chain did the majority of the work, and without them I am unsure it would have even happened. Nice enough staff, but maybe need to focus on not just winning business and helping those in the process

real lack of service/ communication

awful, I have been trying to speak to someone from the sales team for months. they say the same script every time I call "this is lettings, leave your details and sales will call you back". They never do. I actually want to purchase a property, why wont they talk to me? I can see the property just sitting there and every time I ask if it's still available they say it is. But I never get further than that with them.

I would highly recommend the Dexters Surbiton office and in particular Ryan M if you need to find a property to rent. Ryan listened to our requirements carefully and we were lucky enough to find our ideal property after viewing his first suggestion. The Dexters team were able to secure a buyer for our flat with in a few weeks in November 2023. Luckily the buyers have been extremely patient as our onward purchase has proved very challenging and has taken 9 months from when we found it to complete. The entire process has been extremely stressful, however Andy has helped immensely chasing the seller's estate agent and solicitor for information and also with valuable advice along the way. It's amazing that we have retained the original buyers and we attribute that to Andy keeping them informed as it must have been very frustrating for them too. I would highly recommend Andy and the rest of the Dexters team.

Amy from the Surbiton office has made the process of finding something to rent in a competitive area very easy. The house wasn’t on my list to view as it hadn’t come online yet, but as Amy had listened to what I wanted, she sent me it, I viewed it the same day and within hours it was mine.
