Monika was incredibly helpful

Monika was incredibly helpful she was patient and knowledgeable. She had excellent advice and really listened to what we was looking for. She went above and beyond and found a property for us at a different wards branch that ticked all the boxes. I had a bad opinion of wards until meeting her and she change my opinion, so much so that she actually gained additional bussiness as i advised a family member to use wards to sell his property.

Professional with Excellent Communication

Recently purchased a period property through Wards of Ramsgate. The service I received was excellent, the staff were professional and friendly. Communication was first rate, even if I had to leave a message it was always acted on and Amanda Robinson (not in the Ramsgate office) would follow through with a call and speedy assistance. A shout out to James from the Ramsgate branch, he was an absolute super star! So helpful and accommodating, very professional with great communication skills. This was so appreciated as I was moving to a completely new county and area.

I have been renting a property from Wards Lettings for the last 3 and a half years. They are diligent and obliging along with being so professional, in so many ways. I highly recommend them. Over these years, whenever I've had to make telephone calls, the person I've spoken to has been kind, charming and listens, responding in a friendly, satisfying manner. I enjoy speaking to Emmet when I pay my rent, via telephone. Also Will. The staff I've met, in person, including, Tammy and Laura has been a pleasure, both of whom, have treated me in a friendly, caring & personable manner. Sadly, I have to re-locate, due to commute distance. Finally....such a huge mention of respect to Billy Flynn...this Man has showed me such respect, he listens, reacts in an amiable, friendly manner, so rare these days. Billy is such a warm-hearted Gentleman...."Nuff Respect" Sir. I had a problem.. never have I experienced such a compassionate response in a business capacity. He listens and responds so reassuringly. It’s been a journey! Gary had been very supportive of seeing this process through which has been a long one, couple of times wanted to take it off the market but persuaded me to keep it on! Buying a new home is stressful, but not with Wards! Back in October 2025 me and my partner went cluelessly on the search for our first home together. Saturdays were full with back to back viewings, one Saturday I just felt like giving up, the first property we really liked was made with all cement and not brick and the estate agents failed to tell us, the second one, the estate agent was really late, which made us run late for the 3rd one (by this point I was about to give up) When we got to house number 3, late! We were greeted by Geoff at Wards. He welcomed us, let us walk around the house at our own leisure and was avaliable to answer any questions we had about the house, the previous owners and he even stepped up and reassured us with some first time buyers tips. We walked away very happy and wanted to view the place again with some family. Well Wards made that happen the exact same day. In fact it was about half hour after we first looked! Again Geoff was very accommodating, I had dealt with loads of estate agents in the previous weeks and wards was honestly the best experience by far! Long story short we confidently put an offer in on this property and just like Geoff said it would, we got accepted. Now the real stress was about to start! Not just Geoff but Wards as a whole were there through the whole process. Our offer had been accepted a few weeks back and I just wanted to go and see the house again, I was going to be spending a significant amount of money on this I wanted to be sure. I called the Wards office in Barnehurst and asked if there was any chance they could let us see inside again and just like that there was a date in the diary for this to happen. The guy that met us there on that day did his own thing and let us just wonder around this new house we were in the process of buying. He was avaliable to answer any questions but let us have space which I really appreciated. Towards the end of the process our solicitors were waiting for a few things from the sellers. I called Wards with this worry and straight away they said they would get in touch with them and try to push it along. They didn't dissapoint. Wards was a big part of our buying house Journey and with any of the other estate agents we came in to contact with I don't think it would have gone as smoothly as it did with Wards! Not only did Wards work so well with both me and my partner and our 5 year old son. They also worked in great partnership with our chosen solicitor and our Mortgage advisor. I couldn't recommend Wards Barnehurst enough, if you are looking to buy a house like us, you won't be disappointed and if you are looking to sell a house, this is how they treat prospective buyers so you have a high chance of selling. Thank you again to Geoff and the rest of the team at Wards Barnehurst. Forever grateful!

(2022): Wards were very quick and efficient at getting my property on the market. They got to a sale in a very short space of time. They were very helpful and professional at managing the various issues that came up. They were always very polite on the phone and I never ran into any difficulties getting hold of someone to talk to. Top marks. Would use again. EDIT 2025: ... Did use again! For a pair of property sales which began in 2024. Both properties had been listed with another agent for six months and got absolutely nowhere. Wards did a smashing job getting deals on both of them in a very, very short space of time. Both of these sales took a long time to get through legals and Wards were superbly supportive throughout.
