Never nevde never !!! if you would like to rent with them never never go And find another estate agency. For 2 months we have been trying to get back our deposit and i am sure we will struggle with them next 2 months more. They tried to charge us £165 for cleaning which is for already cleaned 1 bedroom flat And £140 for light bulb but when i left the flat everylight were alright. İf the landlord want to renew those absolutely they can but they can not charge us.indiscriminate They manage your money and earn money from your money wıthout your allowence. They dont give you any invoice which is excactly illegal!!!!!

Really appalling. As a tenant who took great pride in the property I rented and always ensured rent was paid on time over two years and the property was looked after, I have never been treated so badly after spending such a considerable amount of my disposable income renting. I bent over backwards to co-operate with them in the last month, agreeing to all viewings that they requested for prospective tenants. Unfortunately due to a busy lifestyle we left a mere 12 hours after our tenancy ended only for Connells to see pound signs in their eyes. This was the first time we had ever completed a move this size before and unfortunately we underestimated what time we needed. A little leeway goes a long way considering this was someone's home where moves can be stressful with full time working and commuting and a young family but they insist on charging a day's rent for late checkout even when they actually haven't lost any money (no tenants queuing to be swindled yet!). Bearing in mind this was to ensure the property was left in a squeaky clean condition, I would've assumed this would be waived. Next time (not that I'd ever rent again) I will just leave it grubby. Connells lead you to believe they are a reputable company who treat tenants with respect yet they have no regard for them, seeing them only as cash cows to fund their landlords' property portfolios. Landlords, if you want a good relationship with your tenant and would see yourself as someone with a strong moral responsibility not to cause undue stress and anxiety to a young family, avoid this unsympathetic money grabbing bunch. In addition, took 6 weeks to respond to a fault! This was after devising a new system for reporting faults. The irony.

I'm not usually one to write a review but I had been struggling for a while to let my property with a competitor of Connells, a friend of mine had used Connells and recommended I put my property on with them in the hope of more success. The friendly service and obvious knowledge of the market was so refreshing. I hate agents that are pushy, the lady at Connells was genuinely empathetic towards our need to let the flat quickly so worked hard to get the right people through the door and hey presto it was let extremely quickly, one happy customer, I would highly recommend!!

Do not use! Had to cough up 2 extra fees the day i moved in. Tried to sell me PPI a month after livibg there. Took 4 days to respond to a problem; we had to pay to have it fixed ourselves, when they did respond the information they used about us was incorrect. 2 inspections in 1yr tenancy. Never got a straight answer to any question asked. Ive been renting for 10yrs, these are by far the worst letting agents I've dealt with so far - money grabbing at every turn.
