I had a pretty awful experience last year with Bovis Homes, with their team at Emmer Green Drive. After a few red flags, which I foolishly ignored - we had agreed to buy, but they later pulled out of the sale making it seem like we'd done something wrong - my wife was very upset. We later found out they'd sold "our" house and a chunk of the development to some investment company.

Following some serious searching for our forever home, I came across developer Bovis Homes. I went online and booked a catch up at a Wellingborough site. Mandy Tomlin demonstrated customer centricity and excellence from the word go. She show cased her experience dealing with clients ensuring we took the most smooth route towards getting all our questions answered with the upmost clarity. Mandy also collaborated with stakeholders ‘Mortgages First’ our broker, our snagging firm ‘Knott Brothers Ltd’ and the solicitor ‘HCB’. Can’t thank her enough for everything she’s done to make our forever home purchase special. Thanks Mandy!

We have been living in our home for 2 years now and are still awaiting snagging work to be done that has been outstanding since we moved in along with some areas that have come to light since.

I had a disappointing experience with Bovis Homes at Edwalton Fields. One major issue was their pricing tactics. For example, they may list a house for £500,000, increase the price to £550,000, and then offer £20,000 as an "incentive," making it appear like you're getting a deal. However, this is misleading. They also claimed that their Area Director was offering a "really good price," but it felt like more of a sales tactic than genuine value. I strongly advise doing thorough research on the local market and not getting swayed by these so-called incentives.Additionally, I found that Bovis and Linden Homes were not reliable when the house was in the reserved stage. They didn’t complete the work as promised, leaving us in a difficult position.In contrast, my experience with Avant Homes in Ruddington was much more positive. They provided genuine support, offered fair pricing, and were willing to accommodate our needs. I highly recommend considering Avant if you're looking for a home in the area.

Our whole experience with the team at Bovis homes at the Cornish Quarter Wadebridge Cornwall has been exceptional from the moment we first enquired about the development, then deciding to buy with home exchange. The guidance, support and every little detail along the way they covered. The quality of the finish of our new home is outstanding and moving day went so smooth with handover of keys, our welcome banner on the door, a moving in hamper, orchid and bottle of bubbles waiting in our brand new house. I wouldn’t hesitate one minute to recommend to anyone looking to buy a new build with Bovis. Thank you so much! 🏠⭐️🙏🏽

Shambolic, the state of the plumbing in our house is embarrassing. House is only 6 years old, we’ve had two major leaks. These have ruined the downstairs bathroom & kitchen. Excessive mould has ruined walls and skirting boards. We’ve also had glass crack in a bedroom window after 1 year of being here. The garden is a state, barely enough soil to cover the crap they’ve tried burying in the garden instead of removing it properly. Rushed build with half assed effort. Bathtub must of been used for rubbish during the build because it’s still all sat behind the bath panel. DO NOT BUY A BOVIS HOME!!!!
