It had been quite sometime since I had purchased/sold a property (16 years), so I asked 3 local estate agents to tender for the sale of my property. Mark's straight talking and honest opinion about the state of local market showed his skill, experience and professionalism which impressed me. I wanted to try and sell my property at the quietest time of the year (early December), Mark suggested I waited until after Christmas when the market picks up (good advice), but I wanted to start sooner and liked the idea of doing so by an 'open house' sale. I also wanted to break the ceiling of the sold properties in my street. Once engaged, Mark and his colleague Kieran sprung into action and arranged for 2 open house days over 2 weekends in the run up to Christmas. We had great attendance to both events and between us created a real buzz about the positives my property offered which resulted in 4 offers to purchase, the highest of which I accepted breaking the ceiling price I had wanted and also to a lovely couple of first time buyers. Both Kieran and Mark kept me updated on the progress of the sale, providing helpful advice to the purchasers to keep the sale on track. I could not be happier with the service I received and would recommend Acorn to you for both purchasing and selling your properties. These guys are good!

I had a great experience purchasing my property through Acron Group. As first-time buyers, the process of getting our first mortgage felt quite overwhelming at times, but the support we received made a huge difference. Utterly incompetent, financially damaging and untrustworthy I am a landlord and Acorn are, without question, the worst estate agents I have ever dealt with. Their incompetence has cost me thousands of pounds, endless stress, and complete loss of trust. They “highly recommended” tenants for one of my properties and pushed them through a no-deposit scheme, reassuring me everything was suitable and properly vetted. Those tenants went on to destroy the property, leaving me with a huge repair bill and absolutely no deposit to claim. I was left carrying the full financial burden due to Acorn’s poor advice, lack of due diligence, and failure to properly explain the risks involved. Communication was beyond unacceptable. Charlotte Elkins and Joy Davis were consistently evasive, avoided phone calls, failed to respond for days, and only provided critical information after it was too late to do anything about it. Information was regularly wrong, incomplete, or contradicted later. I was repeatedly misled and left to pick up the pieces. For an agent charging management fees, they offered no management. I had to chase constantly, correct their mistakes, and effectively do their job for them. When problems arose, accountability disappeared, excuses replaced action. As a direct result of this ongoing incompetence and financial damage, I have systematically removed every property I possibly can from Acorn’s control. I would not trust them to manage a shed, let alone a rental property. If you are a landlord considering Acorn: don’t. Poor communication, poor advice, poor tenant selection, and zero responsibility when things go wrong. Using them has been an expensive lesson I won’t repeat.

Though we are not selling our house through Acorn (as I had not heard of them at the time) we had several viewings and an offer placed through them and I've been nothing but impressed. I've mainly dealt with Kieran but also Mark on occasion. Both have been honest, polite, punctual, knowledgeable and flexible, all this surrounding a process that can be extremely stressful, was a breath of fresh air. When we inevitably move house again in the future I will be sure to use Acorn and I would certainly recommend them to my friends and family or anyone looking for a next level estate agents.

I was with Acorn estate agents for just over a year. In that time they worked tirelessly to get a buyer for my property. Through no fault of theirs, the 2 buyers I had did not go through to exchange, though the 2nd one only pulled out on the day of exchange due to family circumstances. Mark and Kieran have been very supportive during the whole process, and basically kept me sane at times. They were always on the other end of the phone and when they weren't they always called me back. I've decided to take a break from the whole process for a while, but I shall be contacting Mark or Kieran when I'm ready to give it another go. Acorn Estate Agents in Rainham have been absolutely amazing when dealing with the sale of my property. Mark Sugarman and Kiernan Thomas have gone over and above to keep me updated on a very difficult sale process in order to give me as little stress as possible. My property was a one off with an annex so involved two other independent sales in order to complete the process. They really went over and above in keeping me updated on a weekly basis and if I had any concerns at all they dealt with them and kept me informed. I can only thank them both for treating me in a very professional way and they really did care about me as their client. If anyone wants to engage with a 100% professional company with extremely knowledgeable staff then they can do no better that instructing Acorn Estate Agents in Rainham Kent.

This journey began in the latta part of 2021 where my partner and I realized that obtaining a mortgage for the type of home we desired wasn't so easy. I don't often tend to leave reviews but I can only praise the Acorn Rainham office team. We decided to sell our house in November 2020 and first went with another estate agent but they barely manged to get a handful of viewings and no offers, also there was not much communication from them and did not feel they cared at all. After the 14 weeks was up we decided to cancel the contract and give Acorn a chance. They were running their 0% introductory offer so we felt we have nothing to lose. There was night and day, so much different how we were treated by them compared to the previous agent who would have received a hefty fee. Acorn started advertising straightaway and managed to get quite a few bookings for the next available weekend. We had an offer, who after a day decided to pull out but Mark, who is the nicest and most compassionate estate agent I have dealt with, reassured us that this is only a minor setback and they will find us another buyer soon. He was right and the week next we had 2 higher offers on the table. Unfortunately a month later that one we accepted fell through but it had nothing to do with Acorn, buyer got rejected by the bank. The developer for the house we reserved gave us 2 weeks to find a new buyer and Acorn was so incredibly helpful and supportive. We got the bad news on a Thursday and by Friday we were back on the market, 8 viewings on Saturday and 5 offers by Monday! They were amazing, Mark even went in on his day off to make sure we get the most viewings booked! This time around we got even better offers so we were over the moon! They kept us informed throughout, it wasn't an easy process but they were the most professional out of all the vendors we dealt with! I can not recommend them highly enough, and they did not treat us differently even though it was all free. I especially thank for Mark, Will, Josh and Leah for their hard work!
