DREAMS REALLY DO COME TRUE

We saw a very beautiful house at a difficult time for viewing with the virus. However, we found Strutt and Parker staff to be very understanding and knowledgeable and they made an appointment and as we had travelled a long way we were extended more time at the property and were able to take many photos. The Director of Kent was especially helpful and supplied us with photos of parts of the house where we had forgotten to take them. He was helpful when we made an offer and pitched our offer at the right level which was accepted. Throughout the conveyancing process he held our chain together with great skill and patience and thanks to him and his willingness to communicate with all parties involved including solicitors we managed to see the process through to a wonderful and successful conclusion where all parties were happy. We are indebted to the Strutt and Parker staff for their considerable experience which made a stressful process bearable. Many thanks for such an early Christmas present to all at Strutt and Parker but especially Edward Church and all his staff proving that dreams really do come true. Fantastic from start to finish

We couldn't have asked for a better service than the one we received from Oli and his team at the Exeter office. They sold two properties for us (5 years apart, second one has only just exchanged contracts). Both times Oli worked tirelessly to facilitate communication between all parties. His humour, patience and approachability made an extremely stressful period far more enjoyable and I was so grateful for his support. So many agents get an offer then do nothing to push things forward. Oli and his team are the opposite of that and I highly recommend them.

These 5 stars are dedicated to Meena Patel who from the moment she showed us the property and took us through the rental agreement which were her remit on to going way beyond her call of duty. Where property management was remiss in making sure the apartment was ready for occupancy she was always available and ready to help and solve large and small problems right down to getting a second key cut herself. Jay O’Dell was also very helpful. They set a high standard which hopefully can be met by other members of the team

This is the second occasion in 12 months that I have instructed Strutt and Parker Kensington Church Street to act on the sale of family property. The need arose from the death of a close relative. I had no hesitation in instructing them again. Despite the uncertainty represented by the pandemic and the ending of the lockdown, John was able to negotiate a very satisfactory sale price and ensured the sale went through without a hitch. As before, I felt he was giving me excellent advice on which I could rely. It was proffered tactfully and sensitively, and I have no doubt that the sale went through in the satisfactory way it did because of John's abilities, care, attention and concern. In addition to the usual services he and his team went well beyond what I would normally expect, eg supervising the removal of the piano, the collection of items for sale, and ultimately the clearance of the property itself. I remain hugely grateful to John and would undoubtedly instruct him again if the need arose.David Melville

Had a wonderful experience dealing with Strutt & Parker. I was in an unreasonable rush to find an apartment with very specific requirements and to move in within a few days. I was assisted by Yamila Hernandez who showed me the apartment, contacted the landlord, drafted the contract, communicated between all parties very efficiently and had me move in within the week. She was very available all throughout and very diligently kept up with fulfilling all necessary procedures for moving. Also was very responsive on the weekend after I moved in when I had a minor technical issue in the apartment. Highly recommended.

I had an excellent experience with Strutt & Parker while finding a property to rent. I had previously looked at so many listings, with different agencies and agents and to be honest was getting a bit tired of it all. Then stepped in Yamila Hernandez of Strutt & Parker. The process was extremely efficient and Yamila is a serious force. She is totally on it, a highly effective do-er and has an amazing drive to just get things done. I couldn’t recommend her and the team more, in particular Petra Duffin and Stephanie Walker, who helped with various aspects throughout. They are all very hands on and have the ability to act quick, with diligence, professionalism and an all round genuine attitude that made all the difference. In my experience, if you are looking to rent a property, Strutt & Parker have a better quality of listings, a much more streamlined process while moving forward and offer a greater experience than most. I've been in touch with Strutt and Parker few times in the recent years, both as landlord and as tenant, and I've always experienced a great professionality. I'm happy to note that also with younger staff, nothing has changed, but even improved. I was dealing recently with Cecile Nolan, and I've been impressed by the quality of her job overall: with great attention to my needs, she's very responsive, precise, informative and very friendly, and that allowed me to fully focus to find the right place for me and my family. I have just completed a purchase handled by Julian Masson and his handling of it was helpful, professional, prompt and faultless. I do not have enough good things to say…

I do not have enough good things to say about my experience with Strutt and Parker. They made the experience easy, seamless, and (dare I say it) enjoyable. Newbury branch - hire some more help!

Newbury branch - understaffed, underresourced, got a lone junior staff member running the entire Lettings team, and literally could not organise a *p-up at a brewery as a result. No apparent efforts to get resources and help from their considerable branch network, resulting in a slow, badly communicated, unsupported process and 2 weeks later, I still have no tenancy contract to sign in the most easiest of circumstances.
