I am a tenant in one of Knight Frank’s Hampstead properties, and my experience has been nothing short of a disaster. For over a month, I have been living without a functional bathroom sink, a leaking shower that causes water to pour into the living room below, and a massive hole in the living/dining room ceiling.Despite numerous polite and professional attempts to contact Knight Frank, my concerns have been repeatedly ignored. These are uninhabitable living conditions, made even more unacceptable considering the substantial rent I pay for this property.This is not an isolated incident. Over the summer, Knight Frank left me with persistent leaks for over two months and the same unresolved hole in the ceiling for more than a month. Now, with the holiday season around the corner, there is no progress in sight. Hosting friends and family was one of the main reasons I chose this flat, but I have been unable to have anyone over for more than three months this year. I am now facing the prospect of spending Christmas alone, ashamed of the state of my home.Knight Frank has shown zero accountability. I have not been offered any compensation for this ongoing ordeal. When the water was completely turned off, they didn’t even provide temporary accommodation or alternatives. I was left to brush my teeth and wash up in café bathrooms, an utterly unacceptable situation for any tenant.This is a serious warning to anyone considering renting with Knight Frank. Their lack of professionalism, responsiveness, and basic human decency has turned what should be a comfortable home into a source of constant stress and frustration.Bianca Matei
