Can’t thank Joseph and Kerry enough.

It’s been nearly one year of working with Kerry first, then Joseph, asking for multiple mortgage offers and it was never too much for them. I spoke with other brokers to make sure i was getting the best offers, and can hand on heart say that KFH had the best customer service and the best rates too. They reduced our rates before exchange by nearly 100 pounds a month. They truly restored our trust in brokers after having an incredibly bad experience the first time we purchased a home. I have already recommended these guys to friends and will use them again.

Avoid KFH Block Management!

Avoid KFH Block Management!They have been managing our estate and have completely mismanaged contracts causing the annual service charge amount to increase exponentially.The have admitted to allowing the estates communal electricity to go out of contract for over a year, causing the cost to increase by over 500% (not an exaggeration!). They neglected to inform our estate directors for over a year, and claimed that they struggled to find a new contract for all that time, but did not tell anyone we were out of contract. The lack of communication on this and all matters is unbelievably poor. They don't respond to tenants queries at all and fail to follow through on any commitments they give. Avoid at all costs.

Unhelpful and unprofessional

We were extremely disappointed and angry with how KfH handled our potential purchase of a property. They failed us more than once. Firstly, failing to tell us the full extent of the chain above us (which only transpired three months later!). Secondly, using increasing threats of chain breakdown and deadlines (which always passed without consequence). These always seemed to coincide with month-end and seemingly in the interests of staff commission as once in a new month they stopped! Thirdly, they even suggested we should ignore our solicitor's advice and guidance, questioning why further enquiries were being raised. Inappropriate and unprofessional. To cap it all on the very day exchange and completion dates were set, they informed us a higher offer had been accepted on the property (which presumably they had continued advertising despite our agreement once our offer had been accepted) but claiming that our vendor may be prepared to negotiate. Another way of increasing their commission?? We saw little integrity from KfH, plenty of bull-dozing in their own interests and I have no trust at all in them. Bizarrely, when the sale fell through, they offered to help us find another property. Absolutely no way!

Supportive and helpful throughout the process

We bought a property through KFH Dulwich Village and from the start right through to the final day of completion they were very proactive and supportive. As often occurs there were some problems, but although they were not caused by KFH they were full of good advice, supportive and helpful. They went all out to get it all completed and all problems overcome. I recommend them unreservedly and will definitely use them if/when I come to sell next time.

Great start to the process but a poor end

We sold our house with KFH Sydenham (having originally been sold it as a new build by them). They were excellent when we instructed them, and at getting offers on our house from multiple parties. However, when we got closer to exchange they were pretty poor. The branch had quite a robust and slightly aggressive approach to their sales which worked really well for us whilst they were selling the property, but it slightly turned on us towards exchange - the information we received them from during that period was inaccurate and it definitely felt like they were acting more for the buyer of our house than us. We tried to provide some feedback, but this was not well received by the Sydenham branch at all. So a great start but a poor finish.

It’s not only about getting the deal done …

It’s not only about getting the deal done it’s about going that extra mile to make sure that the parties to the deal are satisfied. KFH was not helpful in connecting us, with the right people to ensure that we had access to everything that the vendor had - gates, keys, access codes etc. responses to our queries for few and far between after many follow ups. Offers to help were made but never acted upon. We still don’t know where our parking is and no one can help us becuase we don’t have contact with the vendor and KFH didn’t bother to find out the details for us. It hasn’t been a satisfactory relationship.

I am a landlord and I have a managed…

I am a landlord and I have a managed property with KFH. Following my experience with them I would strongly advise not using KFH. They have been completely incompetent in my view. An example of this is when in between tenants they registered me to my neighbours ulility bills. This has resulted in nine months of hell. I now have a debt for over £1800.00 for my neighbours property (Ovo energy are also a nightmare) and a the threat of legal action against me. KHF have done nothing to help or assist me in this matter, in fact their lack of customer care is making it worse.

I felt the sale price was considered and explained to me with comparables and options to sell quickly or test the market. Avoid at all costs. Absolutely disgusting treatment of tenants. We rented a place from KFH and about 8 months in, noticed water dripping from our ceiling. We notified KFH that there must be a leak on the roof above but they did nothing. This of course progressed into mould over the ceiling, including all over our bedroom. They eventually sent someone out who confirmed there was a leak through the flat roof above. We were using mould remover several times per week to stay as safe as we could. Despite this no action was taken for a further 2 months. They then came with the landlady to try and accuse us of “not opening the bathroom windows” and turning the extractor fan off, causing the dripping water. They got someone new (who worked for the landlady) to say there was no roof leak. We had to terminate our lease and find a new place urgently. They still had the cheek to try and charge us for repairs from the deposit, which was overruled by TDS. Avoid at all costs. KFH have no regard for their tenants, will try to cheat you and are completely disorganised.
