GoogleI registered with a few agents in my search for a rental property, but John D Wood (Notting Hill) were by far the most professional. They suggested properties for viewing that matched my criteria, and once I had found the right one, the process was very straightforward and there were no unexpected charges. The rental team, Sally Hamilton and Magdalena Kotara have been superb - really helpful and efficient, both through the initial period and ongoing tenancy!

Nadia, at John D Wood, was an excellent communicator and frank about the flat, the market and clients. She was obviously knowledgeable about the product, prompt in placing the flat in the market and with viewings. I really would like to give Nadia, at John D Wood the opportunity to rent this flat for me when it becomes vacant again - I really valued and will value Nadia's approach.

Had a really good experience! Ellie Bowers the estate agent I was in contact with was very nice, efficient... She showed me a few properties and really into consideration what I liked and did not liked and found me the ideal flat. Her approach was not as salesy as can be with some other estate agents. Feels like she really cares about her customers. I would highly recommend.

The tenants that JDW found for me in 2019 decided to leave after one year, disappointingly, but JDW (Trinity Road branch, SW18) found two people who appear to be excellent replacements, with only a 10-day void. The necessary arrangements were all made in a professional manner. I'd particularly like to single out Shoeni Oates for the excellent service and advice I've received as an inexperienced landlord.

GoogleWe picked a listing on RightMove and contacted the agent, which turned out to be John D Wood. We love the flat, but it didn't hurt to have JDW manage the process. We appreciated the clear communication channel - from arranging viewing, making an offer, landlord's response to the offer, arranging a meeting with the landlord, signing the agreement, and moving in. Service was prompt, friendly and professional throughout.

Awful experience. Reached end of tenancy and despite instructions being followed and agreement with the Landlord, no return of deposit as yet. Seem incapable of resolving the issue - or do not want to do so. A sad end to the tenancy and completely unnecessary. I would recommend you look elsewhere.

Terrible agents, a bunch of kids who do not know what they’re doing. Awful at keeping you updated on the progress and very disorganised. You have to chase them and only to find out that something hasn’t been done or done too late thus you ending up missing out on the property! What a waste of time

The worst of all. Penelope Leng showed me a property that is not ready to move in. And the renting price is increased when I told her that I want to rent. I don't know the company but I know the letting negotiator who made me unhappy about the whole experience.

J D Wood let my flat in Weybridge. The bad tenant Chris Witts stopped paying the rent and left the flat damaged and very dirty. He would not admit his financial responsabilities, luckily I was able to recover the debt from the deposit through mydeposits.

What a joke! The epitome of bad and distrustful estate agents. We arranged a viewing with the Esher office and no one showed up- no email,text,call, WhatsApp- to even tell us they were late or having to cancel. And worse still- the property we arranged to view and sat waiting for 20 min was already sold.

GoogleI was very impressed by the sharpness and efficiency of a particular lettings negotiator, Tania Valenza. She has been extremely helpful and time efficient and able to perform under a lot of pressure and deal with very demanding clients :-) I highly recommend working with her. Besides the professionalism, it was also a very enjoyable experience.
