We really cannot say enough good things about our experience with Daniel Cobb. They were truly worth their weight in gold at every single stage of the process of selling our flat. We could not be happier with the service we received. At the valuation and marketing stage, they know the local market better than anyone. In addition to this, where they stand head and shoulders above the local competition is in their willingness to listen to what their clients want and deliver on their clients’ specific priorities; in our case very much at the expense of what would otherwise have been a much quicker sale (and therefore a higher turnover of properties) for them. We were selling a very niche property at the luxury end of the one-bedroom market. We obtained valuations from other very reputable local estate agents, who suggested that we should be marketing the flat for about £125,000 less than Daniel Cobb suggested. We were told by other agents we should accept any offer over a certain sum, which ultimately turned out to be £90,000 less than the offer we actually accepted after Daniel Cobb marketed the property. We think the key reason for this is that Ian Boardman, who valued the property, knows the local market extremely well, is able to appreciate the strengths of properties in the area, and was willing to listen to our priorities and give us realistic advice. We were in no rush to sell, and this meant that we could wait for the right buyer. Given Ian’s skill and professionalism, we are sure that if our priority had been to secure the best price possible within a much shorter time frame, this would likewise have informed the valuation and marketing strategy, and would have resulted in us selling the flat at the best price achievable within a shorter space of time. The marketing process was extremely smooth and the brochure and online advertisements prepared by Daniel Cobb were of first-rate specification. They showed off the flat to its best advantage whilst still giving an accurate picture of what it was like. Throughout our dealings with them, Ian and Seweryn Eichstadt (who conducted most viewings and dealt with prospective purchasers) were responsive, engaging, knowledgeable and patient. They were very communicative and it was a pleasure dealing with them when arranging viewings and the like. Once we had an offer accepted on the property, their level of service continued to be outstanding; keeping us informed of all matters we needed to know about and, at times, even helping the process along by picking up on some communication issues that our solicitors were not as quick at dealing with. We would recommend Daniel Cobb unreservedly to anyone looking to sell a property in the geographical areas they cover. If our experience is anything to go by, they will be a pleasure for you to deal with, will listen to your needs, identify and market the strengths of your property to their best advantage, secure the best price your property could fetch in view of your situation/ priorities, and their rates are competitive with all other estate agents from whom we obtained valuations. Full marks for their service, and we don’t say that lightly.

I can't recommend Ian and Johnny highly enough. Kennington's not short of estate agents and it can be a bit daunting knowing who to use. Due diligence requires that you should get a few appraisals, but let me save you the time and effort and recommend that you go straight to Daniel Cobb. They were very friendly to deal with, highly professional, they know the local property market in and out, they took excellent photos and produced a great brochure, conducted viewings promptly and sold our property for a great price in just one day. I’d like to update my review since my property has been relet by Daniel Cobb. I have been dealing with Patsy, Henry and Marion who have both met and exceeded my expectations inspite of a few teething problems initially they have worked together seamlessly in the management and letting of the flat. Patsy has been efficient at understanding my needs and communicating this on and with Henry has been been quick to find tenants for the property. Henry is always very polite and professional and takes time to be of assistance. In terms of management I have been delighted! Marion is fantastic, She has efficiently managed the property using good fair judgement and taking my needs and wishes into account. I feel I can trust her to take care of matters in a professional and personalised way and to give honest opinions and use sensible judgement on what needs to be done and how to do it without just throwing money at it. I feel fortunate to have her help. She is clearly in tune with the individual and is able to use and apply her expertise to tackle and solve problems in a way that suits both tenants and landlords accordingly. This service has been indispensable to me as I have two young children at home and live far from my property, in order to keep it I needed to feel I could depend on and trust the person managing it on my behalf and that I could almost feel like they represented how I would do things if I could. Having rented flats around London and also letting a property of my own over the years, I have dealt with many agents - and to be honest was not looking forward to doing so again during what is the busiest month of the year. However, Henry at Daniel Cobb was easily the best agent we dealt with. Whilst the other agents in the area struggled to respond to emails, return calls, or keep us up to date with new properties, Henry was extremely, efficient, professional and courteous. He listened to our needs and genuinely tried to find us somewhere that fit without being pushy. We didn’t manage to find a flat in the area (mainly due to our tight time constraint), but we’ll likely be back again during a less busy period and give Henry more time to find us the right place.
