GoogleGoodacres have managed our Bungalow for 18 months - the first tenants were excellent - they left recently to return home to Bulgaria. My contact person was Samantha who left earlier in the year. She was always responsive. Now Josh is contact. I would rate him a more proactive than Samantha - he has been very responsive and helpful in the last few weeks. He found a new tenant before the previous tenants had left. GoogleNot speaking for all the company as I'm sure they deserve their rating, however on a viewing with my wife the sales negotiator Lauren was extremely rude and arrogant upon our arrival to view the property. We opened the back door to the garden and then she sighed as if we did something wrong. I asked her what the price was she was like 200,000, I was like is that offers in the region of or excess of? She abruptly interrupted me and said 'No only 200,000'.
On arrival to the next viewing we noticed that they had dogs in the property and we told her as a courtesy that we are allergic to dogs, she replied 'oh so you want to cancel the viewing?'
It's a shame because I was going to make an offer on the 1st property but because of her appalling customer service I am not.

This is a non-corporate environment.
My first impression was so positive, on the first day of asking Goodacres to put my Property on the market.
Jack Goodacres as promised went to my property he took some amazing photographs; within 4 hours my property was advertise on Goodacres website.
The next day I had two viewings. The Property was Let within five days from advertising, I now 1 confirmed offer to buy with the tenants secured.
I recommended Goodacres to my Brother who was struggling to sell his property, Jack and Simon between the two of them had my brother’s house on the market within a day, we are now on our second viewing- one offer. This was within a week of putting the property on the market.

GoogleSimon, Jack and their fantastic team truly are a breath of fresh air. They not only managed to sell my house within one week of going on the market, they also managed to achieve a sale price at 20% above Castle Road’s supposed number one agent. All of the viewings they arranged were all legitimately interested prospects and not one was a waste of time - feedback was also provided very quickly afterwards. The house I purchased was also sourced and secured for me at a fantastic price by Goodacres within days of me detailing my preferences. Goodacres worked with the solicitors to ensure a smooth and stress free transaction throughout. Professionalism is at the forefront with Goodacres and not once did I feel like a nuisance, even though I know I can be quite demanding!
If you are considering buying, selling, letting or renting I would recommend them over any other agent without a second thought.

GoogleIf I could give less than one star I would. The lack of professionalism from this company was dreadful. Only trying to get financial gain and when this is jeopardise. They are extremely rude!
When first opting to buy a property from this estate agent, false information was given to us which could have jeopardised the sale of the property. They do not know their properties well and do not care to do so. They will tell you anything you want to hear, in order to gain their commission. When confronted about this matter, they were extremely rude and non apologetic. They were unable to admit where they had gone wrong and instead denied what they had said. On a separate occasion from this, I again was confronted by hostility and rudeness, when choosing to opt out of the sale of a property for good reason. Therefore, because of this I would not recommend their service and will not be using this estate agent again!

Thank you for your review.
I would like to take the time to address the issues that you have raised.
Firstly, in regards to false information jeopardising the sale. You met our sales negotiator at the property and asked if pets would be accepted, our sales negotiator advised you to verify these details with your solicitor however we believe this should be ok based on previous transactions we have dealt with in the same development.
Once the sale was agreed this was then brought up again which we confirmed to you was the same as per the viewing. In order to resolve this for you as quickly as possible we raised this with the seller, her solicitor and your solicitor on the 7th March via email which subsequently was concluded within 7 days confirming that our initial comments on the viewing were correct and that pets were allowed.
Secondly, you have suggested that we were rude and unable to admit that we had been wrong but as per the above there was no fault to admit.
Thirdly, you mentioned that you were confronted by hostility and rudeness when withdrawing from the sale for good reasons. After 9 weeks of the transaction progressing, we received an email from your solicitor simply stating that you had now withdrawn but without any explanation of your reasons. We did not receive a call or email from yourself confirming you had pulled out so naturally, as we act for our seller, we called you to confirm if this was the case, to see if we could help you in any way but also so that we could keep our seller updated.
Your good reasons for withdrawing were because you were unhappy with the leasehold pack for the property, you felt it was too strict and you believed that as it is leasehold, anyone could access your home at any time without your permission. You also suggested that the management pack should have been supplied to you at the viewing stage but of course, this isn’t possible for us to supply prior to a solicitor being instructed and paid for by the seller.
We apologise if you felt we were rude in the response in advising that a leasehold property in future wouldn’t be for you and merely suggested that the leasehold pack provided is the same as 99% of leasehold purchases and the wording couldn’t be changed.
Overall, we are sorry you felt our services left you thinking we are a 1 star company or less but we do respect your opinion and we wish you the best of the luck in the future.

GoogleIt's a rare thing to want to give a glowing recommendation about an Estate Agent! However, it had to be done. Because Goodacres is that rare example of an independent business with hands on owners (Jack and Simon ) who actually care about what they do. Their staff stay with them, which is always a great sign. We've known Tyler and Lauren for a while and when we decided to sell with Goodacares it was this established relationship that made us feel very comfortable. We'd had a sale fall through with another agent and the guys at Goodacres were super supportive and positive that they'd get us sorted. Which they did... within 2 weeks! And more than one buyer at that. They also gave us advice, listened to us, and responded with care during the process. Yes, they actually cared about helping us.
