Indigo Greens York reviews in James Street

Simon, Emma and Sam have been a delight from start to finish selling our house in York city centre. Warm and personal, while remaining hyper professional always, they really made us feel supported throughout the process. We've been abroad most of the time and they have gone way beyond what an estate agent would normally do to help us with anything large or small that came up. Their advice has been wise, timely and objective. The whatsapp group was a fast and efficient way to communicate, and they always respond quickly. They are far and away the best estate agents we have ever dealt with - a model for how this much-criticised profession can be carried out. Thank you!

We rented with Indigo Greens from 2019 to 2022. This was our first time to deal with an estate agent as we had previously rented directly from landlords. From the onset there were no registration charges when every other estate agent was profiteering from potential tenants before the law banned those silly practices. Going forward we were treated with respect and any of our requirements were responded to on time. Unfortunately the landlord had to sell up and we had to move but we will have no hesitation renting through them again. We hear of horror stories experienced by other tenants who rent through other agents but we never experienced any of that. Really professional bunch of guys.

If you are selling your house I would highly recommend using Indigo Greens. The experience from start to finish with all of the team was just brilliant, simple effective communication and straight answers letting you know exactly what is going on and where you stand. My house had 4 offers (2 of the asking price) within 24hrs of going on the market and lots more viewings still booked in, it was then I really needed some advice. What really surprised me was Instead of a phone call Simon came round face to face and discussed all the offers in full giving me the best advice I could have asked for. My last thank you is for all the hard work the team put in to keep our chain together when when understandably with the market in York the people we were buying from were struggling to find a place, again great communication between all parties and making you feel and ease when I was panicking. What an amazing team an amazing company and I wish I could say everyone I deal with is like you, there not so keep doing what you are doing you have been brilliant!!

Cannot recommend this company highly enough! I rented my house through Indigo Greens from 2018-2022, during which their service was absolutely faultless. The team were professional, approachable & always went above and beyond to ensure the needs of both tenant and landlord were met. I then sold the house through Indigo Greens in 2022, and again the service was second to none. Emma & the team were always on hand to answer any questions about the sale process & ensured a timely exchange & completion of the sale. 10/10!

Simon, Emma and Izzy have seamlessly taken us from not having a clue about how to sell our Mum's property to contracts being exchanged between our conveyancing solicitors and the buyers' solicitors and completion. Their honesty, efficiency and diligence at all stages of the process were reassuring, helpful and effective. Many thanks team Indigo Greens!!

Indigo Greens have been attentive, friendly and professional throughout. As a first time buyer I was nervous about the process of buying a property but the team made me feel at ease and explained everything in a way I would understand. They've made the process as easy and as quick as it could've been!

Can’t recommend Indigo Greens enough. They made selling our house so stress-free. The team were responsive and always answered any questions we had. They made the whole process so easy. Also worth mentioning that we sold in the Covid pandemic, we viewed a lot of houses with a lot of different estate agents and Indigo Greens were one of the only ones following the Covid guidelines. It made us free safe when having viewings. Thanks again to the team 😊PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

Indigo Greens provided an unbelievable professional and personal service to help me procure my first property. From the day I had first contacted them, they had kept in touch and provided me with options that they felt suited my requirements, which was a breath of fresh air compared to the majority of chain emails I would get from other estate agents. Upon having a bid accepted on a property, they opened up a whatsapp group chat to constantly converse and promptly answer any queries I had; this helped ease the naivety of being a first time buyer and ensured the whole process was very smooth for all concerned.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

The team at Indigo Greens were brilliant whilst dealing with selling my mums house for her earlier this year, they were friendly, courteous and very patient with a 93 year old selling her home of over 50 years! They supported us through the whole process, were excellent at getting back to us and always gave clear and timely information. They were particularly attentive whilst dealing with my mum during covid restrictions and were very careful and respectful. They also got lots of potential viewers/purchasers and the house sold quickly and with the minimum of fuss at the right price, so I couldn’t recommend Indigo Greens highly enough. They did a great job.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

We purchased our new home via Indigo Greens in 2021. Simon, Emma, Sam & the team at Indigo Greens were great to deal with. We were super impressed by the COVID safety measures they had in place for our viewings and found them very reassuring. The 3D house tour on the website was brilliant and was far better than anything else we saw with other agents. Since having our offer accepted, they have been responsive throughout whenever we had a question & kept us updated. We would highly recommend.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

Excellent service and communication throughout, from the first viewing to the completion then handover. I would highly recommend this agency and we had a lot of contact with many estate agents in our quest to find a house. A great team in this company making life easy and supporting to finalise the transaction.

What can I say about this estate agents apart from they are fab, we purchased our house through these guys in May originally but we had a hell of a lot of problems with a certain mortgage company.Indigos helped us out a lot by taking on the responsibility of chasing them day to day to help push the purchase forwards for us, Emma and Simon contacted us along the way most days to help us out to see if there was anything they could do to help it took a long 5 months and finally got the keys on the 2nd of October safe to say we was all relieved They are a fantastic team and I could thank them enough for their help over the last few months 10/10 service.

We’ve just purchased a house through Indigo Greens. We actually viewed 2 properties they were advertising and from the viewing (which was easy to arrange at convenient times for us) all the way through the buying process were spot on! Great communication, were on top of solicitors both sides. If we are to ever sell we will definitely be using them! Would fully recommend.
